Everyone be careful when you come to this place to install a solar system. Before signing the contract, they promise a lot of things and after signing the contract, they will abandon you. The solar system does not work as signed in the contract and they ask you to pay more money for additional installation. Do not bother with this company. That $500 sign up might sound tempting, but the headaches and the seemingly large bills that come afterwards negate any savings. I was told that I needed second panel because the usage outweighed the production from the first panel. Unfortunately I signed on for another panel through Sunnova through this company. The savings aren't significant to justify that second panel. So now I'm stuck with two solar bills per month. Based on my usage, I would've been better off sticking with Edison and their regular rate plans. Biggest mistake of our lives. They don't communicate well, they targeted my senior mother that is in stage 4 cancer. We got a huge bill at the end of the year for $5800!! From Edison. Someone put our billing into paperless, and we were on the care program before this because we are low income. They lure you in with a $500 rebate and referral, but please, don't sign anything that are from this company. They just do the install and selling. Once you see their tail lights, that's the last time you'll see them again. These sales people have no conscience. Greed and money is all they want. I don't forget, I don't forgive. I will give them 0 star if i could. They re-roofed my house 4 years ago and this year rain really put their poor workmanship to test. It was leaking so bad that i now have to replace 1/2 of my ceiling and the walls due to water damage. It costs me over $10k in damage and the company completely ignored my calls. Their dispatcher Kim told me let it dry before she will send someone down to fix it. Turn out it was very bad advice because the longer you wait the more chance mold will grow and cause more damage internally. Their intention only to repaint the damaged wood. They hooked us up with Sunnova, and it was a BIG HEADACHE. They do a 25 year lease instead of a 20 year, but the rate of increase is cheaper. You can also buy the whole thing. When it came time to sell the home, the process was so slow and cumbersome with Sunnova, and Sunnova continued to bill us even after the new homeowners took over! Do not recommend! read more

Make sure you understand Make sure you understand the concept. They charge by the kwhs your solar panel MADE not by how much you used. I thought just like the Edison, you get bill for what you used but the bill was much more than usual (almost triple times!) because My bill was for the amount kwhs that my solar panels MADE which I did NOT use all of it. They are sneaky in explaining that part so that you sign up with them. I am trying to let other potential buyers know that they will have to pay for all solar enery produced even when you don't use all of it. That is the part that I had problem with your consultants. I have already spoken with them to express my grievance and they were not very helpful. When I told him what I would put up on facebook, he threatened me with legal actions which I thought was very unprofessional. read more

This company is a terrible installer. As a professional licensed company as well as NABCEP certified installer, you would expect a neat job. Oh boy, I was wrong. They don't care about your solar energy generation. They installed the panels next my chimney which causes 3 of them generate half of its capacity. There are plenty space on the the roof with the Array #2 which they should put those 3 on that side instead of next to the chimney on Array #1. As the result, on average, some 2-3 kwh will be lost per day. It will be a lot over the time. I talked to the account manager guy Andy and he refused to see this is a problem. I then called the Semper Solaris guy back and ask what the plan with our roof is. He sent over the installation plan and it did not have any panel near by the chimney. Come on, I don't pay for the Corvette price and get a Ford Focus engine. Their price might be cheaper but avoid them if you don't want hassle.
