After each treatment, the facialist would excuse himself to go to a back room. After a while I would open my eyes and wonder where this person went. Then about 30 minutes into this stop and go treatment, the facialist puts a cooling mask on me says he has to go wash dishes and will be back again. Let's play this through. He's about to go wash dirty dishes of some kind and then come back and touch my face? I don't think so. Further, if I wanted a 20 minute mask treatment, I can do that at home. I come to facial appointments for the skin manipulation, massage, steam, serums, etc. not for a person to spend the majority of the appointment in a back room while I'm out marinating in a bull pen. It's clear by the empty room that this sentiment must be shared by others.
