A friend recommended this nursery and I'm so glad we came! It seemed at every turn there was more and more plants or trees and flowers to explore. Such a wide variety of plants that have become popular on social media over quarantine as well as plenty of landscaping plants/supplies. Everything is organized or grouped together so it is easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. Everyone we encountered was super helpful and willing to help in anyway. There are large carts that you can use to load up your plants and push around so you don't have to carry them. I wish there was more pots in stock but that's OK I'll just have to come back. They even sell extra black planter containers for a discounted price. The green houses were super beautiful and we enjoyed looking at all the plants!!

Amazing landscaped nursery - it's almost like the secret garden - where you walk in and just keep walking thru sections of beautiful landscaped areas. There's an indoor display that has wonderful furniture and a patio that makes you want to fill your room like a sun room! Great to just walk around and take it in.

I was lucky enough to have my wedding at this venue a few weeks before it got shut down by the city from holding future events. (so sorry to those who had to relocate to another venue! ) This review is for the venue itself. My ideal wedding was to be surrounded by trees and flowers. This venue was my dream setting for the big day. Our reception was inside the greenhouse (probably the only wedding held there since it was newly built at the time). The lighting, floral arrangements and ambiance were so romantic and gorgeous! (Special thanks to The Eventloft). It exceeded my expectations. Our guests loved the venue and some even claimed that it was the best venue they've been to. If it ever opens up again, you should definitely book this venue! Maybe 2020 or 2021?? Also if anyone is looking for a dress, msg me!

The Nursery By Southwinds is a hidden gem located in Orange County. This place is perfect for a wedding (a large wedding for that matter), a baby shower, corporate event, engagement party, bridal shower, the list goes on and on! This venue also offers multiple locations to host an event. My favorite spot at this venue was the greenhouse, especially if you're planning an event in a colder month! I was lucky enough to recently attend an open house that the venue hosted and let me tell you these photos don't even do justice! If you're looking for an outdoor venue located in OC this place is calling your name! I highly recommend this venue!

Beautiful venue for a wedding reception. Cute and quaint if you're looking for an outdoor choice. Looks classy and well kept. Only downside is that there's 2 restroom in the whole area which is fine normally but can get a bit cramp with a wedding party of 100+. Either way, the venue was gorgeous with lots of nice photo ops. Would recommend for those nice spring and summer weddings!

I have lived in this area for over 3 years now and drove by this street like everyday but it took me this long to drive into this quaint parking lot to check them out. You wouldn't expect something this cute and quaint and calm serene landscaped garden utopia could exist right next to a 5 and 133 fwy but that's exactly what it was. Once you go in it's a world on its own. Path ways leading up to various garden lounges with varied themes. They had a full model room with greenery and plants cape that was inspiration over load. The teak bead lounge chairs and hammocks are screaming at you to take a break. And the most handsome Buddha sculptures in one of the areas too. I want to pick up some sandwiches and come picnic here one day. Randy who runs this shop is on top of things and as hospitable and inviting as he could be. I ended Up buying a modern planter that was similar to the one way over priced at west elm here. Speaks to the bargain and approachable price. I'll be back to take several breaks here.

    Greenhouse/Hanger area.

Is photography allowed (non professional, just for a couple using only a small film camera)?

Last year I saw a whole photoshops using this location as a wedding venue. I just looked it up on Instagram and saw that the insta is deleted and there is no venue button on the website. Is the Nursery still available to be booked as a venue?

We came for the lavender event. However, we stayed three hours shopped for gifts cards, the finest chocolates, and even found some wild blueberry jam. All of this walking around, looking at the numerous selection of roses they offer as well as lavenders. We had to stop into the farmhouse for lunch. We went Mother's Day weekend and the parking was horrible. Save yourself the headache and just valet your car. We walked in by their restaurant. They have carts available for you to use. The roses were hella expensive; $100 and more for a medium sized pot. They do offer a wide range of fruits and vegetables reasonably priced (~$8) and a variety of different types of flowers were scattered throughout the garden from small to large pots (~$10 - $40's) The garden was designed nicely with small shops offering decor and gardening tools/pot. They were way overpriced imo. Overall it was fun to walk around and see the different variety of plants and flowers. I would rather go to Lowe's/Home Depot or home goods for pots and decor though.

Found many good and interesting plants and trees here…read more Bought a plant the called a Mickey Mouse plant! It is called that because of the shape of the 3 "berries" where they form a V shape and will turn black forming the ears and nose (Not edible) I think it is a plant from Vietnam. Got a bit of an ick from this Santa Ana nursery…read more My best friend and I are really into gardening and we stopped by Emily Garden Nursery to expand our collection. Emily's has a large collection of very healthy looking fruit bearing plants. I fell in love with the mango and peach trees. The issue is that very few plants were labeled. They had hundreds of options, so it was like a guessing game to figure out what we were looking at. There was also no pricing listed for the plants available. While I could look past the lack of labels, I was pretty underwhelmed by the customer service at this nursery. The two women onsite wanted nothing to do with us. They never approached us throughout our search, seemed irritated by our price inquiries, and even refused to make a card purchase for a smaller item - after telling us they accept both cash and card. I left a little irked, but luckily there are so many beautiful outdoor plant stores nearby. Wouldn't recommend visiting unless you're a plant expert that can decipher 300+ species of fruit trees with no labels.
