My neighbor hired them to fill in their pool and maybe do some other work so they had to remove her gate in that process they completely messed up my gate and part of the fence when they left and put her gate back on they put her gate all wrong she cannot open her gate and now I cannot open my gate I have called them numerous times and left messages and they refuse to call me back they're terrible. I'm going to have to pay for somebody to come fix my fence now. Also they made a terrible mess we had rocks in between our two driveways they had mud everywhere then they went and put some rocks back that were completely white when we had gray rocks to start off with. Wow! What an amazing service provider! We had a giant Oak Tree fall in the latest storm. I had heard about Thiago and his team from a friend who has used him for demolition and and pavers. He said that this guy can mobilize quick. He not only got a crew in 24 hours for a 4 day job cutting up a giant Oak and hand carrying tons of wood up a steep hill, but then had another set of guys who rebuilt my broken fence and did an expert job. Souza & son filled in our large pool. Their price seemed reasonable and was documented. I felt that they did a good job breaking up the pool. However, they were not at all careful with the rest of the job. Initially, Thiago indicated that they would take steps to limit damage to the lawn and other areas in the yard. We received permission to use the neighbor's drive to bring in equipment and dirt. Initially, the workers were very careful as they moved the equipment through the yard, but that did not last. Rather then picking up mowing strips, walkway concrete steps, etc. they just ran over and buried them. As they continued to literally rush, they were not careful of brick raised planter areas and damaged several. As they rushed moving in fill dirt they left major ruts across the yard and was left literally as hard as a road. The equipment damaged the neighbor's drive, and they indicated that they told me that would happen. We did come up with a mutual agreement that the rushing with the equipment contributed to the damage, and I paid very reasonable additional cost to repair the damage. ( They did a good job and my neighbor was happy.) There were some communication problems with the workers. I told them that I wanted to try to sell the pool equipment, since with was fairly new and expensive. They hauled it away, and when most of it was returned it had been damaged. Recommend that you clarify the fill dirt to be used. The dirt that they used was so full of rocks that it was extremely difficult to get a rototiller or pick through the dirt, some rocks were larger than softballs. read more

Our pool was built in 1994, and did not age gracefully. We were spending a fortune on chlorine, and the concrete all around the pool had cracked to the point we would have had to replace the decorative concrete all around the pool. So we decided to rip it out completely and backfill. The next question was...who will we hire? Based on good yelp* reviews, we decided to call Souza. Thiago visited our residence and walked the back yard with us while we discussed what we needed done. Thiago gave us a verbal budget quote on the spot and followed up in writing later. We took other quotes, but based on the site visit we felt Souza would give us the best job. We were given 2 options, partial removal and full removal. We picked full removal. The job took about a week from start to finish. This was over one of the hottest weeks in Antioch this year...and the Souza crew hung in there and worked full days--running wide open, too. So we knew from that straightaway that Thiago's crew was totally dedicated. So now here we are, a week after the job was finished.
