I got multiple bids but went with Pablo because his price was not only very competitive but he also put me at ease from the start and throughout the project. He and his helper showed up practically every day and worked eight or nine hours at a time, even through the July and August heat when it was over 100 degrees. They just kept at it until it was done. They were considerate and careful during the demolition and trees removal so I'd no issues with my neighbors. My 90-something year old neighbor said she barely heard any noise lol. They always asked before doing anything, and when I was on my work trip, Pablo would text me photos so I could see the progress. He also let me know when inspections were coming. Wish I had known about this company years ago so I could have gotten rid of my pool sooner.

They've gone above and beyond to help me see what different options could look like (e.g., they invited me to see a nearby pool removal they were doing, they lent me samples of artificial turf when I told them I was interested in artificial turf, they helped me decide on the turf that would look nicest, and they didn't charge me extra for it). They didn't make big decisions or changes without talking with me. They've been reliable, hardworking, and transparent. 3. I like their work. They want to do a good job, not just check a box, and they're not out to cheat or gouge me on pricing. See the before and after photos to get a feel for their work! After demanding 8-to-9-hour workdays, Ben paid other crew members directly in front of my husband, but completely withheld my husband's $700.00 in earned wages. To make matters worse, my husband was left personally responsible for paying an additional $800.00 out of pocket to the workers he brought onto the site. When my husband requested his rightful pay, Ben immediately sent a text message terminating his services and threatening him with a "trespass" order to physically block him from collecting his check--leaving our family completely broke the day before our son's birthday. He has since refused all phone calls and communication. This is a matter of documented fact, and we have the text messages, call logs, and a pending Department of Labor wage theft claim to prove it. While I can only legally testify to our own firsthand nightmare, a look at this company's public records reveals a highly concerning, consistent pattern. Other independent accounts detail Ben Hall pocketing massive checks while actively lying about waiting on owner payments--including one documented instance of a $9,620.00 check cleared at the end of May. I stumbled across the All Access Construction website as I was doing research on board-formed concrete retaining walls, I was impressed with what I saw--these guys are capable of doing massive projects. They should be able to easily do my small retaining wall. I called and Joe came right over, he took some measurements, listened and he and his crew went right to work. One thing that he didn't tell me beforehand was that there was going to be a channel for drainage in between the new wall and the old sidewalk. This turned out to be a real problem. One, it looks terrible because leaves collect, water collects, trash just collects in this gutter and two neighbors who are walking along the sidewalk, if they're not paying attention, they can step in accidentally and nearly break their ankles. I've contacted All Access to see what we could do about filling the channel with concrete and just making the sidewalk contiguous like I had originally intended, and I'm not asking for a freebie -- I get it that it's a small job maybe too small for them to deal with, but I've called and emailed and basically been blown off which doesn't feel good.
