    Gluten-free menu at counter

Great! Gluten-free menu at counter. Got the bibambap skillet with no egg + gf gochugang sauce (I'm obsessed with gochugang). Wish it had spinach instead of a paltry amount of fresh romaine, but otherwise was crispy deliciousness. Sauce was a teensy but sweeter than needed (the version I eat back home has more of a smoky salty undernotes) but it was quite tasty and I understand why the place is popular! Very good. Service was quick and professional. Inside was nice, casual.

I tried the bibimbap in the skillet and it was delicious! The fresh veggies added a nice crunch and the rice was crispy from the skillet. There were so many flavors but it all went well together. The service was fast and friendly!

Soy Bistro has great food and great service. This really exceeded my expectations for a casual dining spot. I must be the last person to find this place because it was busy before noon on a Monday. The dining room has tables as well as four bar style seats. The dining room is clean and the employees were on top of cleaning tables as quickly as possible. The service was very friendly and attentive. I expected to receive my food and be on my own from there, but the employees kept checking on us. They brought takeout boxes when they noticed us finishing up and cleared trash right away. I also liked that they brought plenty of small share plates for appetizers and sharing food. They made dining alone with two kids as easy as it can be. The Edamame Hummus with Chips was delicious. I enjoyed the hummus and the honey drizzle on the chips was tasty. The Soy Orange Salad was a tasty and refreshing way to enjoy some vegetables. The Bibimbap Skillet was very good. I loved the texture that the crispy rice added to the skillet. The meat, egg, and veggies were good. I'd definitely order this again. My daughters enjoyed the kid's Chicken Fried Rice. It was a generous portion and they enjoyed it. I really enjoyed my Soy Bistro experience and will be back!

Huge fan of Diners drive ins and dives and seen the episode featuring this place. I highly recommend the hot chicken! It was perfect and service was very quick and everyone was very welcoming. I also tried the fried dumplings, spicy fried rice and teriyaki shrimp sooo good!!! I'll definitely come back here. Plenty of room for a party of 4-6 people but better for two.

Soy Bistro has been on my radar for a while ... and I was finally able to stop in for lunch with a friend while I was in the Brentwood area. We got there right when they opened on a weekday, and there were already only a few tables left! It's clear this is a popular spot to grab a bite. Previous reviews that mention a small parking lot are correct - but if you time it right, you should be able to snag a spot. At the recommendation of one of the Soy Bistro team members, we started with an order of the edamame hummus and chips. This was a unique appetizer option, and one I probably wouldn't have ordered on my own. The hummus was bright and fresh, and the housemade chips were tasty, although the honey drizzle threw me off just a bit. For my entree, I went with the Gochujang Chicken, which also came highly recommended. This saucy, sweet, and spicy chicken was served on top of a mountain of perfectly cooked rice, and topped with a beautiful fried egg. The salad situation on the side wasn't my favorite - but everything else was delicious, and this is definitely something I'd order again. My friend went with the chicken fried rice, which was a huge portion, and she had enough leftovers to make a second meal. While the food was tasty, it's the service at Soy Bistro that is truly memorable. A few different members checked on our table several times, and you can tell that these are folks that love to get to know their regulars. I can't wait to return soon to try more of their fun Asian fusion menu.

This restaurant is so special! The woman at the counter was phenomenal! We went for a business lunch and were greeted super fast, had very friendly service and the food came out quick, hot, and fresh! I ordered the spicy fried rice with chicken. It was the perfect level of spice. Everyone enjoyed their meal. One of our attendees meal was messed up and they brought him a taco in the meantime.

We found ourselves in Brentwood and came here for a date night Saturday, grateful that it wasn't too busy and since it was our first visit, the staff helped share about the offerings. We couldn't resist the ordering their most popular dishes & went with the bibimbap skillet (steak) and hot chicken dish. While both were absolutely phenomenal - well cooked & richly flavored - the bibimbap skillet took the lead and will be ordered again and again. The crunchiness of the rice may be a hit or miss, it was a bit too hard/burnt in a few areas so I may get it without the skillet next time. I loved learned that what I originally thought was zucchini was a Japanese radish - Daikon - soooo good! It felt like the perfect amount of food too - not too heavy. Wish I had came here sooner!

Decent food, quick service, nice neighborhood restaurant. The bibimbap in the skillet had some rice sections that were burnt rather than just caramelized and crispy but overall everything was tasty,

Incredibly delicious food and some of the most passionate staff I've ever met. They were SO excited to walk us through the entire menu and tell us all their favorite dishes. And they gave us free tacos because we were first time customers. The spicy udon noodles are the best I've had in Nashville (try with steak) and the curried fried rice with salmon was so yummy and was HUGE portion. We also loved the beef Korean taco and Bibimbap Skillet was delicious. All their house-made sauces were scrumptious and they had lots of gluten free options! Thank you to Lori for the warm welcome! We will be back SOON!

Outside, inside, and the BiBimBap Bowl. Amazing!

This place is out of this world good. The staff is so helpful and the food is delicious. Come try it if you can find it.

This little restaurant can get crowded. You order at the counter and then they'll bring your food to you. I got a fish taco, Korean beef taco, and Korean chicken taco. My boyfriend got the yaki udon noodles with beef. It all tasted great! I can't wait to come back and try more things.

So if I get double beef next time, will I just get the standard amount of beef instead of 2 or 3 pieces of beef XD Other than that the noodles tasted fine.

overview: favorite item was the fried fish taco and i recommend the chicken over the beef for the korean taco meat selection. free parking lot and single room bathroom immediately when we found this place we knew it was going to be amazing. i love it here so much i am planning to try basically everything on the menu. food beef korean taco: 7.5/10 chicken korean taco: 9/10 fried fish taco: 10/10 soy orange salad (small): 7/10 the fried fish taco was one of the best my friend has ever had. here is a quote from her, "usually i feel like fried fish tacos can be too mayo heavy or don't have enough flavor and i'm left feeling unsatisfied. however this taco had a great balance between mayo and a salsa sauce and it was one of the, if not the best fried fish taco i've ever had." i enjoyed the beef korean taco flavors but i found the meat to be too chewy for my taste and just enjoyed the chicken more overall, so i would get the chicken taco over the beef. i prob wouldn't get the beef one again. the orange soy salad was great! lots of oranges and a good ratio of lettuce to toppings. the people next to us had a fried rice dish that looked delectable, that is what i will be trying next. we will be repurchasing the fried fish taco 100% bathroom: 7/10 i was going to give the bathroom a 6 but they had free tampons so i give it a 7, cute little painting on the way back there parking: great parking lot! free medium size parking lot it's really cute and i feel like makes sense for the vibe of the restaurant service/ ambiance: the workers were so sweet and super quick service soo cute. an ideal restaurant you can eat inside alone or get takeout or go with group which is perfect. so many great options. they have lots of indoor seating and 3 or so outdoor tables in the front

I like coming with a group because if you order Japanese food, you get miso soup and a salad, but if you order Korean food, you get a ton of banchan delivered to your table. I like a bit of both, so having multiple people at my table increases my odds of sampling the whole menu. The bento boxes come with endless food: entree, generous portion of veggie and shrimp tempura, sushi roll, gyoza, rice and orange slice. Not to mention the miso soup and salad brought out before the box. My favorite is the dolsot bibimbap which comes out sizzling in a hot stone pot. This creates a crispy rice edge and keeps the dish hot the entire time you're eating. I always add a healthy amount of spicy gochujang sauce to my bowl to add warmth and depth of flavors. This makes it one of my ultimate comfort food dishes. We typically come here on a weeknight and are usually seared right away. The staff is always super welcoming and friendly.

I have NEVER had so much volume in a bento box, I ate 3 meals from it, 1 there and 2 from the take home I had. Not only did they serve soup AND salad, but there was a choice of California roll sushi, or another, I tried the other. Usually, it is a couple of pieces of sushi pieces in the box, but here it was a whole roll - 8 pieces - served between the soup/salad and the entree. The entre had a large portion of chicken terriyaki on a mixed vegetable stir fry. Plus 2 gyoza, plus rice, and orange slices PLUS tempura of 4 vegetables and 1 shrimp. Midori surpassed all the other restaurants I've been to when ordering a Bento box. The lady serving me was very professional. This is a modest restaurant with an ambiance good for casual dining, not my choice for anniversary celebration. I had lunch solo (there are no lunch specials offered). My lunch was $18.99.

The bibimbap was pretty standard, full of colorful veggies and a good portion of beef on top. I was a little disappointed that the rice never got crispy despite ordering it in a sizzling hot bowl. My favorite part about dolsap bibimbap is the crunch of the almost burnt rice, so if I hadn't been full from the bbq, I might have been slightly sad.
