    Pho Beef

Vui's Kitchen is a nice, casual spot for pho in Franklin. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table, which keeps things quick and simple. The pho is decent. Not the best ever but not scary for those who haven't been to a hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant. It's clean, friendly, and easy for anyone new to Vietnamese food. Overall, a solid choice for a quick, light meal.

Big Vui's fan here, first time at this location! Came to pick up pho for my partner and I when a bit under the weather and it was still hot when arriving home. Great service, fabulous quality, fair prices. I also think it's a great spot to meet up and dine in - very calm environment with a minimalist clean aesthetic.

Dry as a bone pad thai

Really, really bad, no flavor. Pad thai had no sauce, just dry noodles. I am so disappointed I wasted $25.

I like this place . The food is fantastic ! Fresh and healthy .. good reset after the holidays . The employees are friendly and helpful . Bathrooms clean . I like that they have kombucha made locally in Nashville . I get the vegan options and they are good . Portion sizes are big . I like the appetizers .

This is how Pork Belly Banh Mi was served. That little plastic container is the slaw. ‍ Ordered cucumber salad for additional fee.

Yup I don't get it?! People rave about the place and it's just okay. I will say this review is not a reflection of the staff who are really nice and get 4 stars! I wanted to give this place another try but it was disappointing. No Their floor gets a 1 star. Went during lunch and it was sticky and gross. Like your foot got stuck as you walked. The trash was overflowing. The place itself has a lot of seating but tables are so close together, you are in other people's conversations. The food was just okay. More of an Americanized take on Vietnamese food. I gave the fresh Summer Rolls (shrimp) another try and completely bland. Even the sauce was meh. Same as my first experience I had here. My S.O. had the regular Pho (beef) and his broth tasted like dish soap water. It did have lots of ingredients and he ended up having to put a lot of spices to eat it. He actually left all the broth in the end. Pork Belly Bahn Mi was okay, bread wasn't as good as other places. Fully loaded almost a little too much. Pork belly was good but way too much pate. The whole point is for the flavors to blend and pate overpowered it all. The slaw was good but the portion size was like a taster. Of the whole meal, the cucumber salad was the only memorable item. In the future, probably making the drive out of Franklin for Vietnamese food.

I really enjoyed the pho here! I've had the Beef Pho and the portion is smaller than what I'm used to, but felt like a refreshing meal for one person. The local kombucha they serve is Walker Brothers. Blueberry Jasmine and Cucumber Melon are a new favorite! Overall vibe was nice and the restaurant was extremely clean. Staff was super friendly. I personally don't think I'd buy pho here in the future because of the serving size, but am excited to go back and try different dishes.

Service was really good, I loved how the dish looked. Place was clean and had good amount of seating. I ordered a Pho and it was not my favorite but maybe because I'm just not a big soup person, I'll try something different next time!

While vacationing we were looking for something light and came across this little gem. All of the dishes were refreshing and very flavorful. It was just what we where hoping for. The food was delicious but the highlight was the level of customer service we received from Oscar. He was so sweet, engaging, and more than helpful in making recommendations for things for us to do during our visit. We will be back soon.

Great food and great service. I always get the vegan pho, edamame dumplings and tofu Bao buns, mix up a little soy sauce and chili oil and add that on top for extra flavor and spice.

This is a spin on Vietnamese food... not authentic. The Pho broth has a flat flavor - not savory like it was cooked from heavy bone stock.

Does anyone know how they handle allergies? I have a peanut/tree nut allergy, and I know they have menu items with nuts. I'd love to try it if it's safe!

That would be an answer I would only call and ask the manager. I can't see a consumer giving you accurate information, even with the best of intentions. Even a worker might not understand cross contamination. My dish had crushed peanuts.

If you are unfamiliar with this chain, think Chipotle for pasta, but it is not made in front of you. They have a bit of prepared pastas, but you can also create your own. Noodles and Company is a quick serve spot that serves purpose when the regular rotation of week night dinners runs a bit stale. The location itself needs some TLC as it is worn from ripped and torn seating, cabinet doors falling off of the drink station, stained ceiling tiles and dirty floors. The place needs some conditional love. Cleanliness was decent throughout with the exception of filthy entry windows and doors. Food wise I went with the Pesto Cavatappi and a side of garlic bread to go. Portions could be a bit larger, but that is why I added the garlic cheese bread. Pasta's are priced as is then there is an additional charge for protein. Your average pasta with protein will run you around $12. I enjoyed the pesto pasta and the chicken was lightly breaded and portioned well for the pasta. The garlic bread was a bit soggy and the cheese came off with one bite, and not in the cool "cheese pull" kind of way. Service was "meh". They were on their phones watching videos loudly while customers waited to be noticed at the counter. Overall, Noodles and Company is just okay. Definitely has potential to be added to a quick and easy weeknight dinner rotation, but they need to make a few adjustments.

The atmosphere immediately caught our attention--creative, intimate, colorful, and just a really cool vibe. Then the food came out and somehow managed to match the setting. We tried the beef tacos, soy garlic wings, glass noodles, and steak, and everything was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The steak was cooked perfectly, the wings were crispy and loaded with flavor, and those beef tacos definitely deserve another visit of their own. ‍ What really completed the experience was the service. Gene was awesome--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout dinner. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service, and reasonable prices for the quality. It's always a win when you stumble across a place you weren't expecting and leave already thinking about what you're ordering next time. Mi Kitchen is officially on the repeat list. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. The first thing that stood out was their small plate concept, and I absolutely loved it. I enjoy trying a variety of dishes instead of committing to just one entrée, and this concept is something I wish more restaurants would adopt. We ended up trying almost half the menu and loved nearly every dish. A huge shout-out to our server, Nestor. He welcomed us warmly, was cheerful throughout the evening, and his recommendations were spot on. He truly made the dinner even more enjoyable. We started with a couple of mocktails, and the Purple Haze was refreshing and delicious. Here are some of our favorites: MI Cucumber - Smashed cucumber with soy dressing, crunchy chili oil, and cilantro. Simple, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Plantain - Fried plantains topped with sriracha goat cheese, cilantro, and crunchy gremolata. The sriracha goat cheese paired perfectly with the sweet plantains. K-Pop Chicken - Korean sweet and spicy popcorn chicken with great flavor and a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Dumplings - Homemade steamed dumplings with edamame, truffle, yuzu ponzu, and garlic confit. I really enjoyed the truffle flavor, though it may not be for everyone. Kimchi Bacon Risotto - Caramelized kimchi, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, and shrimp. One of the best dishes of the night--perfectly cooked with incredible flavor. Crispy Spicy Tuna - Spicy mayo tuna served over crispy rice. This was one of the highlights of the meal. The crispy rice was absolutely perfect. Cauliflower Taco - Crispy cauliflower with guacamole, creamy miso, and tsiran spice. The filling was flavorful, and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly. Lamb Chops - This was the only dish that felt average. The lamb was cooked well, but it was missing a bit of flavor. A little more seasoning, especially some salt, would have really elevated the dish. To finish the meal, we had the Banana Pudding with Vanilla Gelato, which was a delicious and satisfying way to end dinner. Overall, MI Kitchen completely exceeded our expectations. Amazing food, a fun small-plate concept, and outstanding service from Nestor made this a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu!

We didn't explore the grocery that much but it seemed like it had a nice balance of dry food goods, refrigerated items, and small objects, mostly either for cooking or the occasional gift. It was clean inside and being a grocery store had a good bit of parking outside. The restaurant is on the far right as you enter. We were greeted warmly and told to seat ourselves. Menus were delivered promptly. I ordered a Thai tea to drink. Hubs got the fried shrimp appetizer and we both chose noodles for lunch; he opted for pad see ew and I got drunken noodles. The restaurant was fairly busy but despite the crowdedness it still felt easy to have conversation with each other. Our food came out quickly but had clearly been cooked fresh. The Thai tea was the one thing that didn't hit at all. It had a very intense flavor that I couldn't quite place compared to all the other Thai teas I've had. Could just be this one is more traditional, lol. But it wasn't quite as sweet as I'm used to and it almost had a subtly salty vibe; I wouldn't get it again. That said, the cooked food items were quite good. The breading on the shrimp was incredibly crispy and even I liked them well enough at first; the flavor was light and the texture not rubbery. We did ultimately realize these shrimp had not been deveined, which is not our preference but I understand it's not a requirement to be able to eat them. The noodle dishes really shone, though. Hubs liked his pad see ew and we both thought my drunken noodles were even better. Lots of tender but still-crisp veggies in both. Strong and pleasantly aromatic basil flavor in mine. Large portion sizes. The noodles were cooked well and were pleasantly chewy. Mine was lightly spicy but nothing intense; I wound up adding more chili oil from the small container on the table. Service was a highlight throughout; the women working were very personable, got us to-go boxes, and were attentive to any other needs we had. Lots of menu choices here and fresh food prepared quickly. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
