This is my first time using this location to park. I did it due to the heat and rain potential…read morewhile I was away. My ONLY issue was this...I got there and I had a reservation. The lady told me to park in aisle 9. I went down all of aisle 9 to find ONE spot open. I have a midsized truck, nothing too big. But I couldn't get it parked. There was not enough room for me to do a nine point turn and get parked without blocking the other two cars next to me. I wasn't sure what to do. So, I went to a different aisle where I finally got enough room to get in a space. It wasn't perfect but I would do. The shuttle driver picked me up and said, "I have been looking for you why aren't you in aisle 9?" I had to explain in front of a bus full of people how I couldn't get my truck parked. LOL. Not a big deal as far as I was concerned. From that point forward it was money well spent. Driver was very courteous. I got dropped at the terminal quickly. Return trip, shuttle was there as soon as I walked outside the terminal. I got dropped straight to my back bumper. Didn't have to walk in the heat up and down aisles trying to remember where I parked. Suitcase was removed by the driver. I wish I had cash to tip, but I just don't carry it anymore. Got in my cool vehicle and headed straight out. Now that I have used The Parking Spot I will be recommending it to everyone.

My daughter and I were picked up by the Parking Spot van at about 3p on Sunday February 7th and we…read morethink the driver's name was Zaky. The van was full and when the driver spoke, we could not hear him. He did one stop in premium parking then continued. When we entered the regular covered parking, one passenger spoke up and said they were also in premium parking. The driver stopped and then got snippy and said they should have given him their ticket. When they said they did, he looked in the trash can and found their ticket. He claimed he said their spot, but we did not hear him do so. In fact, other drivers usually stop at the spot, stand up and say clearly the number of the spot. This driver did not do so. After going around to the missed premium spot, my stop was the next one. Again, he did not stand up and say the number, but we knew it was ours. As my daughter and I only had backpacks, we did not need his help on leaving. But as my daughter was carefully stepping down to the ground level, the driver closed the door on her arm. No apology and she barely got out of the way before he drove off. I have been using The Parking Spot since its opening for both business and pleasure travel. This incident and the fact that it is extremely difficult to get to The Parking Spot now, will cause me to look elsewhere. An Email to management did not result in a satisfactory solution.

I was really impressed by the sheer variety of food and shopping options. I specifically made the trip to visit the Made in KC store, and it was a total win--they have a fantastic selection of unique gifts if you're looking for something local. Getting here from downtown was a breeze via public transportation, which made the trip much more relaxing than worrying about parking. Whether you're here for the shopping or just the views, it's a KC highlight!

Street parking is free for 2 hours. It gets busy around afternoon to evening hours. There are all sorts of shops here including apparel stores, jewelry stores, gift shops, general and home goods stores. Among dining spots we saw Shake Shack, Panera, True Food Kitchen, Eddie V, Melting Pot, Kura sushi, Ocean Prime, Capital Grille and several other popular restaurants. We went to the Plaza on multiple days for shopping and eating. Some of the places we visited were Shack Shake, Bruu cafe, Lululemon, Rally House, Made in KC marketplace. Prices were mid to high depending on the location. The plaza buildings looked so pretty with their lightings at night. There was also a Fifa countdown sculpture since KC is a host city. The plaza area felt pretty safe and well maintained. Lots of security personnel were always available in each of the blocks.

We take our kids to crown center multiple times a year (ice skating, restaurants, coterie theatre…read moreare all wonderful). The parking system up to now has been easy to navigate and validate at any shop. The new "frictionless" parking system is an obnoxious data grab, irritating to set up (I do not want to make an account for every place I park), and impossible for people who choose not to have a smartphone on them at all times (me). :) I'm sure it cost a lot to implement, but every person I've talked to has also found it frustrating. Will be ice skating elsewhere from now on and choosing alternative parking from the crown center garages whenever possible.

There are shops like Hallmark, Crayola, Starbucks, convenience store, tea store, souvenir store, Halls (luxury store, mostly expensive goods), local KC good store and so many different restaurants. The hallway connects it to entertainment places like Hallmark visitor center, Kaleidoscope, Sealife and Lego Center. In the plaza they also had ice rink and Christmas decorations. There's indoor parking, street car stop and Union station (minutes away) for guests. Throughout the day, lots of tourists, including families with kids visit this center. The restaurants have varieties like bbq, pizza and sandwiches. Sheridan's frozen custard is a really popular ice cream store. It is also connected to Westin hotel via passageway. I did struggle a bit the signs and directions. There were not clear in some corners. Security personnel are available throughout the plaza, we took some direction help from them. But overall it's a prime spot in KC.
