I've been parking my car here for years at the different iterations of the operation, tracking all the way back to 16 years ago when I traveled often for business. It's essentially an off-site valet parking service! You pull up out front, they help load your bags into a shuttle to the airport, drive you over to the terminal, drop you off, and then pick you up on demand when you arrive back! When you return, they pick you up and bring you back to their facility where they've already pulled your car up to the front, turned it on to cool/heat it (depending on the season), and you're on your way! Although the process isn't always extremely expedient, due to being off site, the cost/value is really good (just a dollar or two more than off-site economy parking) and it's convenient to hop on/off the shuttle right from/to your car. I've used this service at least 50 times in the past 15+ years, and have never once had any issue with my vehicle. The only downside I have experience a couple of times was a little longer wait at the airport to be picked up. But, even that wasn't any longer than I'd have waited for an Economy parking or Rental Car parking shuttle! read more

Valet parked my car. Came back and it was full of leaves in passenger seat and passenger floor mat. Attendant said "your car was outside". What an idiot. So got the manager. He had a blank stare on his face and just out his hands up and said he didn't know how it happened. OMG how bad can this place be. read more

We waited 45 minutes to get shuttled back to our car. The driver loaded so many people and luggage on the bus that it was a safety concern. Had we been in accident there is no way we would have been able to exit the vehicle. They only had one driver on a 3PM shift. I want to give employee Austin props so that does not get lost... he deserves 5 starts for his service and help that his manager failed to give us. If I could give zero stars to this company I would. Not only did they leave our keys in our truck running our entire (8 day) trip. But when we arrived to figure it out there was zero gas and a dead battery and absolutely nobody did anything to help. Not even the manager Jodie. We were inside for an hour after they kept telling us someone was on their way with gas and that was a complete lie. Nobody ever arrived with gas, They gave us the run around, did not apologize one time, did not try to make it right and instead left us abandoned to figure out how to get gas to our vehicle we left with them. The front desk lady even said we were harassing her when we just wanted answers on how to get our vehicle. Completely unorganized and made us feel like it was our fault. Employee Austin, who gets cars from the lot, noticed the trouble we were in and approached us after he clocked out and offered us a ride off the clock and even offered to pay for it himself. He is the only one who helped. He drove us to get enough gas AND jumped our car for us. Do not go here unless you want your car ruined and treated carelessly. read more

I'd give it a zero if that were an option. Stood outside the airport for 20 minutes waiting for their shuttle. Went inside to pay and was not greeted. Car was pulled around but not started in sub zero temps. Rude woman working refused to give us our keys to start it until we paid. We've used Park Air Express in the past and the service was fine but this time it took forever for them to pick us up from the terminal. It was at least 30 minutes from the time we called and I counted 2 Parking Spot, 2 Park n Go, 3 rental car, and 2 Marriott shuttles before they showed up after several of us had called, one of the other passengers even called more than once. Then when we got back they told me the rate and I responded that we were there for 4 days and we had a 1-day free coupon, so why was I being charged the full 4-day rate? I was informed because I was gone 4 days and 3 hours (1/8th of a day) that they had to charge me for 5 full days. That was the final straw. We will take our business elsewhere from now on. The only reason they got 2 stars instead of one is that the people that they hire are for the most part very nice and try to be helpful. It's the business, itself, that needs to be fixed. read more

Never again.. We waited for 45 minutes, it was 12:45 when we finally got on the shuttle (it was 11:54pm when I made the first call) Horrible experience. All they do is make excuses as to why they are so bad. They knew they had a lot of people coming in and they are only running one shuttle. Hire good people and PAY THEM. Your staff needs training and customer service.. We also had a full tank of gas when we dropped the car off, it was sitting belong a 1/4 of a tank when we picked it up. read more

Took out BMW there and within 10 minutes of dropping it off the car notified us that something had happened to the drivetrain. Called multiple times to try and talk to the manager. Extremely slow pick up from the airport. Other parking options allow faster opportunities to get to your car when you return. Have used for years and will be shifting to different airport parking services. Typically I've had great experiences at park air express over the years I've used them. Today was horrible. Took 20 minutes to get connected to the front desk. The phone would dial out but would receive a message stating the line was no longer valid. No, this was not a dialing issue on my end. After 20 minutes I finally got through. Waited another 15 for the bus to come. Upon arrival the front desk workers were not apologetic stating the phones had been ringing on their end, even though they had other customers complaining of the same issue. If you've heard from customers your phones are having issues why not send buses up to circle the gates like other companies do? Ridiculous. Typically love this company but waiting 35 minutes to get back to my vehicle after a long flight to be greeted by rude front desk workers does it for me. read more

I have been using Park air express for almost ten years. I have always been impressed with their service. This evening I was running behind and just missed a shuttle to take me from the park air express facility to the airport. The next shuttle was 10-15 min away. I was going to miss my flight. Jodie hearing the situation, sprang in to action and took a parked shuttle and personally drove me to my terminal so I could make my flight. Jodie to the rescue. She demonstrated exemplary customer service and has a wonderful personality. I am very thankful as I would have been toast without Jodie. I would like to add my voice to the chorus of disenchanted travelers. I used Park Air Express pre pandemic and it was excellent, except for the wait at the check out counter. I used it again this past weekend and it was awful, from start to finish. First, they do not allow you to specify if you want covered or uncovered parking; you are at the mercy of an attendant to relay the message. In my case the message was not delivered. Of course I had no way of knowing this until I came to get my car. Their policy when you return is for you to call them so that they can come to the terminal to pick you up. As GL said, when you call, the people on the phone are rude. I called the number, and the first person who answered was asleep. I called a second number and no one answered. I called a third time and the person who picked up was not listening and had me repeat everything twice. On the pick up you have to stop at all of the terminals; it is not one on one service. When I got to my car it was iced over; the driver had only put enough space on the window so that he could drive the car forward!!!! When I asked the front desk people why my car was not placed in covered parking I got a long stare from the person and no response. I asked twice, and no answer. I came back in and asked if I could speak with the manager, and the no response man said he was the manager. I finally got him to respond. I never found out about why my car was not covered, but when I asked him why the car was not warmed up and defrosted he said, "we don't do that!" Horrible end to an otherwise pleasant trip. If you want to ruin your trip, use them; otherwise, look elsewhere for your airport parking needs. read more

Twice I have come back from a trip to find my SUV is not ready. They said it had a dead battery and couldn't jump it with out my signature. The battery died because they left the aux power on. Today was the final straw, my son was checking his truck in and the worker took multiple calls during the process. He was the only one there. When arrivals came he stopped the check in with out saying a word and started processing the arrivals, who came after him. Your money can buy better service about almost anywhere else. read more

There is a reason why the ratings for this place is so bad. Here's my story. Our flight arrived from Salt Lake on Delta at shortly before midnight. We had our bags and were on the curb at the shuttle cove by 12:10. We saw the Park Air Express van go by and waived at it, but thought it must have been full. I looked at the Park Air Express claim ticket and it said to call if there was a change in flight plans. So we waited for the next Park Air Express van which came by 20 minutes later and it FLEW by us at about 40 MPH. I called the phone number and the lady who answered apologized and told us that we were supposed to call when our flight arrived and that we should stand in the road to flag down the van and she would send the van back out. It was another 20 minutes. The van stopped this time and there were two employees (a man and a woman) and they claimed they didn't see us. They hire extremely unqualified workers. This means that the for this place, plan on an Uber or Lyft to get back to their facility. Unless you are willing to stand in the middle of the road at the airport. read more

Another adventure with park air express today. Checked my car in with about 6 others and got on the bus. There wasn't a driver on the bus or with the bus so we all loaded out stuff in and sat down for about 10 mins. Finally I called the main number to see where the driver was she says oh let me go get him a couple of mins later the driver came onto the bus and said sorry guys I didn't see you there. Another lady that's your job to watch after your bus. Needless to say it was unacceptable and a bit awkward. As this company is expanding for the new terminal I question how can they possibly handle this? read more

I had the pleasure of working with Kansas City Park Air Express personnel in a personal health emergency situation. The vehicle owner had been hospitalized during a vacation. Everyone I spoke with was professional, diligent and caring. When my ill friend was able to get to Kansas City after a difficult cross country journey (still very ill), they made sure her car was ready, and that she was cared for as if she were a family member. Kind and expedited service with a personal touch. We will never use any other service. Brenda , John and the entire staff definitely went the extra Mike to make sure her car was safe and we were welcomed and able to retrieve her car quickly. Thank you to an excellent staff. read more

My family and I used park air express quite often when we travel. Last sat early morning 12:35am I picked up my new lexus and everything was fine. It was a quick response waited less than 5mins, thx to Brian our driver. The next day, I discovered a scuff and black ink marks several lines about 3" long across my driver's seat light tan leather seat. I drove back from the Olathe to Park air express right away, a manager used a leather cleaner to clean it. The marks didn't come off. So I filed a claim, now just wait I guess. Waisted 45mins driving back and forth. I'm not very happy with this place and don't think will be using them again. Economy parking is probably better, don't mind waiting for a big bus. read more

I have used this service for over two years. When i first started using this place I was pleased at the response of the drivers and how fast people get my car up and running. This time is just like the last time. Took 15 min on hold to talk to someone. Another 25 to get picked up (after literally counting 11 on the spot shuttles drive by) then 1 hr and 45 min to get my car. This place used to be nice. They raised the rates and lowered their quality of service. I gave them the benefit of a doubt on the last go around but this is the second time in the row. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This was our first time using Park Air Express, but absolutely not the last! The fastest and most efficient parking experience we have had when parking at KCI! Dropped the car off, immediately left on a shuttle bus, and was at the airport in minute. Coming home, the bus that was at the curb was full and could not seat our entire group, but another bus was there within 10 minutes. Park Air Express WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE. My employer recommended parking at Park Air Express starting in the spring. At just $9 per day, it was more affordable than any other parking at MCI, and the concept is good -- simply leave your car with the valet and hop on the bus; when you return to the airport, call ahead and your car will be waiting right up front for you. No need for riding around the lot in a bus for 10 minutes. In August, my partner noticed damage to our black Infiniti Q50 -- scrapes along the driver's side rear bumper. I had been the only one driving the car and hadn't run into anything, and I thought possibly it happened at Park Air Express. However, I hadn't noticed the damage and it could have happened anywhere. Fast-forward to September, and I'm driving a different vehicle -- an Infiniti QX50. When picking up my vehicle late one night, I noticed the exact same type of damage in the exact same spot. This vehicle had just over 1,000 miles on it and had been parked at one of two places since being driven off the dealership lot: my private, covered parking at home, and Park Air Express. When I discovered the damage, it was very late and -- as usual -- Park Air Express seemed very understaffed. I was told I'd have to wait while a manager was located, so I just left and planned to call the next day. Over the course of the next three days, I left my name and number three different times before receiving a call back, and even then, I was told that the right manager was not available and would call several days later. Of course, I never received that follow-up call. I did find out, however, that Park Air Express does back vehicles into spots so that they can be retrieved faster. That explains the damage. How they were able to damage two cars with rear cameras and back-up sensors (and the QX50 has side and front cameras that provide an overhead view, to boot), I don't know. The buses took far too long to arrive even after being called as soon as my flights landed (I often saw three or more Parking Spot buses drive past the terminal before a Park Air Express bus showed). The front-desk staff is friendly, but it is obvious that they are understaffed. Sometimes I would wait several minutes at the desk for someone to appear to take payment. It seems like everyone is working double duty to drop off and pick up cars. Park Air Express WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE. They're sloppy and unconcerned about the quality of their work, and because they're understaffed, the same person who's manning the front desk may be the same one slamming cars into spots. Ultimately, their customer service was a complete failure, as they didn't care enough after multiple calls and messages to call back with any substantive response. You get what you pay for at Park Air Express -- go there long enough, and they'll tear up your car, too. read more

I should have known it was fishy. One yelp account has poor ratings for park air express another has good ratings. Why 2 accounts? I left my truck for a,week. When I came home late Sunday got in the truck drove home. As I am unloading I see something I don't like. Damage to my truck. Not typical damage but rodent damage. A mouse got in my truck and chewed up my seat belt blanket wires and anything else that made good nesting. Park Air Express says I can't prove it happened while they had the truck. Trust me when a mouse lives in your truck you notice. I would have noticed before I left. It had to get in while at park air. If that's not bad enough to know you are risking being a mouse house. Park Air didn't even try to help me out. ALL I got was corporate BS. I'll be going to the spot next time. read more

We use them each time we go to the airport. Uncovered parking is only a few dollars more than long-term parking and I like the idea of leaving my vehicle secure. We have had maybe two occasions where we had to wait a little longer than normal. It was cold so we were of course aggravated but considering the number of times we have had no problems, we continue to come back. We will start using their covered parking because during our last trip, we had a hail storm and everyone had hail damage. read more

DO NOT USE SERVICE! MY CAR GOT HIT TWICE! Shuttle takes forever to come and pick you up. I've called several times for an update on the shuttle and all they say its that the shuttle is on the way. The drivers are extremely nice and sweet! I travel weekly and was using their services. It was hard making the decision to not come back primarily and ONLY for the drivers after building a relationship but after my car got wrecked not only once but TWICE while at the parking lot. The first time, the manager called and told me of the issue it was taken care of since a 3rd party tow truck was at fault. The 2nd time, I received my car damaged. Spoke to the manager, went over video footage, I filled out a form and I was told they would contact me within 10 business days & no one contacted me. I called and called for an update and they kept sending me to voicemail and told me to email the manager. I emailed about 5 people with no reply.. moral of the story.. they have a "new" manager every month and no one takes accountability for their mistakes. I worked here for a little over a month and a half, and let me tell you! all the co-workers berate each other when the others are not there. the amount of unhappy customers really does take its toll because you get yelled at for pretty much something that is beyond your control. If you bring it up to any of the supervisors they just shrug it off like it's not really a problem and tell you to deal with it. most customers that had an issue had a very legitimate reason as to why they were unsatisfied and all they wanted to do was give some insight and some helpful suggestions and management shot it down every time. read more

Sometimes when you can't find a ride, don't want to used Uber/Lyft or bother anyone to take or pick you up at the Airport, it's best to just park and ride the shuttle. Saw this place near the highway and a big sign that says $9 a day. Also if you go online you can get a free coupon if you signed up and stay more than 2 days. Services was good and we got there on time to the airport and when we landed, we got picked up in a timely manner after we made a call to them we needed to be picked up. Our car was ready when we came back and price was exactly what they said and we also tipped too for their services. It's pretty standard and wouldn't mind coming back here. read more
