This is my first time using this location to park. I did it due to the heat and rain potential while I was away. My ONLY issue was this...I got there and I had a reservation. The lady told me to park in aisle 9. I went down all of aisle 9 to find ONE spot open. I have a midsized truck, nothing too big. But I couldn't get it parked. There was not enough room for me to do a nine point turn and get parked without blocking the other two cars next to me. I wasn't sure what to do. So, I went to a different aisle where I finally got enough room to get in a space. It wasn't perfect but I would do. The shuttle driver picked me up and said, "I have been looking for you why aren't you in aisle 9?" I had to explain in front of a bus full of people how I couldn't get my truck parked. LOL. Not a big deal as far as I was concerned. From that point forward it was money well spent. Driver was very courteous. I got dropped at the terminal quickly. Return trip, shuttle was there as soon as I walked outside the terminal. I got dropped straight to my back bumper. Didn't have to walk in the heat up and down aisles trying to remember where I parked. Suitcase was removed by the driver. I wish I had cash to tip, but I just don't carry it anymore. Got in my cool vehicle and headed straight out. Now that I have used The Parking Spot I will be recommending it to everyone. read more

My daughter and I were picked up by the Parking Spot van at about 3p on Sunday February 7th and we think the driver's name was Zaky. The van was full and when the driver spoke, we could not hear him. He did one stop in premium parking then continued. When we entered the regular covered parking, one passenger spoke up and said they were also in premium parking. The driver stopped and then got snippy and said they should have given him their ticket. When they said they did, he looked in the trash can and found their ticket. He claimed he said their spot, but we did not hear him do so. In fact, other drivers usually stop at the spot, stand up and say clearly the number of the spot. This driver did not do so. After going around to the missed premium spot, my stop was the next one. Again, he did not stand up and say the number, but we knew it was ours. As my daughter and I only had backpacks, we did not need his help on leaving. But as my daughter was carefully stepping down to the ground level, the driver closed the door on her arm. No apology and she barely got out of the way before he drove off. I have been using The Parking Spot since its opening for both business and pleasure travel. This incident and the fact that it is extremely difficult to get to The Parking Spot now, will cause me to look elsewhere. An Email to management did not result in a satisfactory solution. read more

Took too long to get a shuttle to and from the airport. They have many shuttle buses sitting there not being used that could expedite their process. We had prepaid and the man at the gate wanted us to pay again upon trying to leave. Then he accused us of parking in the covered area instead of basic. What a joke. Never again! kc location - great! corportate/support - not! received email promo on mon 8/3 @1:49pm for 25% off any reservation made this week. it's thurs 9:27am and code doesn't work. tried for 2 hrs to get to a human - constant button pushing with automated ai - not helpful. finally got a human @ the local office - she tried the code and said it came back as expired. so apparently "this week" is only mon-wed. this happens every time i try to use their email promo codes. fix the issue or don't waste my in-box read more

I've been utilizing the Parking Spot for almost a decade, and I'm just not sure I'm feeling it. The only times I book it now are when the KCI airport garage is full, which unfortunately, is often. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm in covered parking or open surface, it tends to take a while to get a shuttle to come to where I am. On more than a few recent occasions, the clerk checking me in will tell me, say, Row 17, where I'll go to. Then the driver eventually arrives and asks what I'm doing in Row 17, that I'm in the wrong spot... so some apparent communication issues. Then when you get back, you may have to wait, and wait, and wait. If the airport is busy, it can feel a bit intense because everyone wants on the next shuttle. Then it takes a while after that to get back to your car, and drags out the whole travel experience. The last thing, there are some wonderful drivers here. However a few of them will really guilt you into tipping, and be visibly upset or even say something direct if you don't. Even if you're traveling super light, and traveling for work where it's hard to be reimbursed for cash tips. I'm not against tipping when they get my family's bags off the bus, but when it's just me already carrying my own, I don't see the need to add on to the already expensive parking adventure I'm on. I really wish the new KCI had a light rail connecting to the parking lots, or had built more parking than they did. It's a midsize city and midsize airport, there's no way it should almost always be full when I go to book. read more

Don't go here if you are in a rush and don't expect covered parking to be actually covered. While this company has a lot of shuttles, they don't seem to be always picking up guests efficiently, even though upon entering you are assigned a row. Once parked, I stood outside my car for 5 minutes, and watched another shuttle go by without stopping. The shuttle that picked me up, made 6 other stops and another two just to sit and wait for more people, even though I've watched other active shuttles staged and/or driving around (it wasn't supper busy yet as it was 5am. For those purchasing the covered parking option, be aware that the two rows along each edge does not guarantee actual coverage from the elements. In the winter, my vehicle in the first covered row was almost fully covered in snow. Lastly, this place could use more EV chargers. They only have a handful and require you to purchase the premium covered class, the highest of available 3 classes. If you purchase that premium level, you are still not guaranteed a charger. read more

Been using this service for over a year and I love it. Nice and easy. I allow myself a good amount of time and as a global traveler, I have become familiar with when the airport is busy and when it's slow. I think the longest I have ever had to wait for a shuttle is 2 minutes. I will say, not a fan when a shuttle is completely full of passengers that are seated and you get on and have to stand. The driver should gage the amount of people on board rather than cram people in although I could have just simply waited for the next shuttle so that's on me. February 2025: Not Parking Spot's fault, but the road construction around them made it impossible for me to get to Parking Spot and I missed my flight. What can Parking Spot do? Add a note to the reservation confirmation advising customers about the issue. I called Parking Spot to find out what the best alternative is, given the construction, and they told me to go to Bern Street and watch for a bus, then follow it. Third time I've used them. Talk about service! A bus arrives almost as soon as you've unloaded your bags. Lifts them up into the bus. Gives a card with parking info for return trip, unloads at KCI Upon return this time one was waiting down the way. I started in his direction and he pulled up. Repeat. So smooth and doesn't take much time Watched a couple of folks, when he got to their car they'd filed off the bus and as they did they'd literally point to their bags, no communication, no thx, no tip. Normally, I'm pretty happy with the service I get at the parking spot. However, this time I decided I would get a space in the premium covered area. I was placed in row one. When I returned from my trip, my car was snow packed and iced over from a recent snowstorm.instead of being able to breeze out of there quickly as they advertise I had to spend 15 minutes deicing my car. My advice, don't park in row one or any peripheral spaces. read more

Very easy process. When you pull up, the employee tells you which aisle to park in, then the shuttle came to pick us up within 2 minutes of parking. Make sure you keep your paper ticket bc that's what you hand the shuttle driver upon arriving back to MCI. That ticket tells the shuttle driver where to drop you back off. The shuttle driver takes you back to your vehicle in the order that you get onto the shuttle. read more

Getting onto the bus from the airport was like crabs in a boiling pot of water. No system. People shoving. Busses not stopping in the same place so people couldn't create a line. Very crowded busses. An absolute mess. We will never park here again. read more

I have used the MCI Parking Spot for MANY YEARS. Since the new terminal opened in Kansas City, they have gone downhill. Wait times for a bus have gotten much longer both in their parking lot as well as at the airport on my return. I had a driver simply pass my car by in the Covered Area and proceed to drop of all of the rest of the bus including the non-covered lot. Not even an apology. Rethinking trying the new Airport Garage. Also, they had no water in their free water cooler. WOW!!! I am just now seeing the other reviews on the MCI Parking Spot and it now appears I am not alone. While I understand that most 'satisfied customers' don't bother to leave reviews, almost ALL of the reviews over the past year have been really BAD. The Parking Spot has been my go-to airport parking selection for years, but the past few times I've been there, I have been very disappointed. It seems that unless you choose the Premium Covered Parking option, you wait forever for a bus to pick you up at your car. We arrived at the airport at 1:30 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon and watched empty bus after empty bus drive past our row where nearly 10 people were waiting for a shuttle. After waiting for nearly 20 minutes we finally called (not easy to find the #) to ask if we were ever going to be picked up. When you plan airport arrivals/transports around your flight departure times, this is always a concern. Not sure I will select this place again in the future, but just a warning to others to plan on another 30 minutes lead time to be safe! read more

Always consistent. I love the ease of the app! Although not the cheapest airport option it is efficient. Pickup & drop off right at the car, luggage loading if needed, a bottle of cold water ( most of the time) upon exit. If you have a corporate discount that helps! I haven't parked here often, but I see myself parking here in the future. I went online, signed up for a club membership and made a reservation. When I drove up I showed the confirmation to the attendant at the gate, who pointed me toward where I should park. Shortly after I parked a shuttle drove up and I was on my way. When I returned, a shuttle showed up fairly quickly, I gave the driver my card and he dropped me off at my car. KCI economy parking is about half of what The Parking Spot charges, and I have had to wait briefly for shuttles, but those haven't been near as long as the waits I've had waiting for economy parking shuttles. The Parking Spot doesn't overcrowd its shuttles either. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying for convenience. read more

We are regular customers at the Kansas City location, always get premium covered option. Wife returned to find windshield broken on 2019 Lincoln Continental. Probably stone thrown from recently-mowed grass. Management (Emir Bukvic) referred us to their insurance company who denied liability. The Spot also refused to honor the service we paid for-safe storage of our vehicle. We have $1,000 deductable on our own insurance so THANKS ALOT SPOT!! What a poor business model. Don't do it. We had a coupon on the app for 2 free days so we parked here thinking it would be the most convenient option. When we were leaving, the person at the counter said she couldn't apply the coupon unless we had made an advance reservation. Ended up paying $120 for 5 nights of parking. It was only slightly more convenient than regular economy parking at mci. I would recommend doing that instead. read more

Pretty simple and straight forward. Great parking location with a much lower cost then what the airport has to offer. Shuttles run none stop easy in easy out. Join the spot club so you can earn points and get free parking when you are on vacation and paying your own parking cost. Most of the people are very friendly and helpful. I arrived 5 min early for the reservation. I got out of my vehicle and bus passed by me. I ended up waiting 15 min before I called. I ended up waiting 15 more min for a bus to finally arrive. A total of 30 min waiting for a bus. Not a very helpful service. read more

The worst drivers on the planet. The short ride will make you fear for your life. The drivers barely speak English. They cut off everyone on the airport roads and in the pickup area. So let me start by saying I have used the Parking Spot for many years. They finally did me in. Cold damp night. Arrive at Midnight after a long week of travel. I check my formerly trusty Parking Spot App on where the shuttle is...and where I should meet it. I go to that spot and wait...watching 3 shuttles drive right past me and 5 other customers. Did I mention it was midnight, cold and rainy? So we wait for the next round of shuttles as they ran in a pack of 3....not spread out at all. Gee they were all stopping at the hotel shuttle pick up area not at the parking spot pick up location. Did I mention the App told me they knew I was there and they were on the way? Now here is the kicker. I call the MCI PS office and get a lady. She is snotty and tells me I need to go to 3G. That it's my fault I'm in the wrong place. I tell her..maybe not so nicely...that the App tells me the other place. Her level of snotty elevates. So 45 minutes later I finally get a ride to my car. It's 12 55 when I leave the Parking Spot. Then the App no touch checkout seems to now require touching and the screen is crap at sensing touch. This place has gone to pot. Never again! Stay away. Use Park N Go. They came by 4 times. The vans looked newer . Park at the new covered airport parking the cost is about the same. Stay away from this Parking Spot. Poorly managed. App is not updated. And Staff is filled with rude people read more

You will not be charged what you were told it would be and they charge you to pick you up and take you back to your car we will never use them again after being misquoted and overcharged. Snotty service over the phone and the driver just let go of my bag and it tipped over and laid in the parking lot he never picked it up when you pay for that kind of service you expect it. DON'T USE PARKING SPOT AT KCI! We returned last week to find our driver's side mirror totally broken. We reported it immediately to attendants at check out (who said their manager would call) and also wrote a complaint to the corporate office. But, after numerous phone calls we still have not gotten anyone to talk to us. At this point it's too late to look at camera footage to try to find out who did it, We are not as angry about having to pay for a new mirror ourselves as we are about the total disregard for us. It is supposed to be a safe place to park in, but we wonder if that's true when they won't at least talk to us about damage on their property. read more

Don't bother. Garage parking at KCI is the same price as covered parking here, plus you don't have to take a shuttle. Also don't bother booking the carwash/detailing. I returned to find my car had not been touched even though I had prepaid for the service. It was parked there 4 days so there was plenty of time but they just didn't. They said they realized it when the shuttle driver picked up the keys, but that was not communicated to me and I had to call to make sure I wasn't charged after returning to my car. Save your time and spend the same money. Park at KCI. read more

Huge group of us standing, waiting for a shuttle to take us to our car from midnight until 1:15 am. All the while watching every other parking service loop through multiple times. Because they take the same path over and over, they fill up on Terminal B and just pass the crowd waiting at Terminal C. It was a great advertisement for the shuttles we saw multiple times, because I think all of us will be booking with those shuttles on our next trip. read more

Waited 10 minutes for. Bus while 6 went by. Tried to flag down 3 buses that drive right by me. Walked over and talked to 2 bus drivers that said a bus was there. I told them it was full. He drove right by us (6 people standing at north end of 15/16. Buses not full drive down row 14 and turned right. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Io got out of my car shortly after 5 am...like 5:02...it is now 5:16 we are still picking up people and the driver just radioed for assistance! Really??!! Just to park and a driver was right there. I prepaid online for my space at the parking spot. When I returned to my car, I could not exit the lot. There appeared to be no one working. The car ahead of me had the same problem. He got out and knocked on the window. Apparently the attendant was sleeping. When I handed my attendant my card (required to get out of the lot), I found that I was 1 minute past my estimated departure time. I was charged for an extra day. I told the attendant that I had been waiting on her to check out. To no avail. I was charged. It was a very bad experience. Don't use the parking spot. I won't make that mistake again. Amendment: I told the parking spot that I would amend my review if I'd made a mistake. Apparently I did make a mistake when I booked online. I inadvertently said I was arriving at 11:00 PM instead of 11:00 AM. After filing this review, they contacted me and refunded the extra day. If the attendant would have handled this situation better, this review would never have happened. The Parking Spot assured me they were looking into this further. Thank you. read more

Here is a slightly modified version (for privacy) of what I sent The Parking Spot yesterday, but wanted to share my experience with other potential clients: Hello - today I had a very unsettling experience on a Parking Spot shuttle bus returning home to Kansas City (MCI). ***** was listed as the driver of bus ##. My #yr old daughter and I were the last to board a very full bus. Before boarding I asked our driver if there was enough room. He said yes and loaded my bag while I placed my daughters booster seat securely between two other suitcases. There didn't appear to actually be anywhere to sit and so I asked the driver if i should stand and hold onto the bars/poles where the luggage is stored. The driver pointed to two people and told me to sit there, however there was no space whatsoever on that bench that he instructed me to sit. Some people crowded in the other far corner and managed to make room for my little girl; there was no seat belt available. I offered to wait for the next bus but the driver said I could sit in the spot to the right of him, up front. I complied. We get going but before we made too much distance he pulled over and started questioning if I'd stored the booster seat properly. I told him I thought so. He got up and checked the booster seat. During this whole process he appears upset and to be talking to someone over a Bluetooth device on his right ear, so I couldn't tell if he was even speaking to me. He seemed to be relaying our "issue" to whoever he was speaking to and referred to me as "this women" but I couldn't make out what else he said. At one point during the whole encounter I found myself apologizing and he was dramatically apologizing backing, mocking me, speaking over me, and demanding the last word. The whole bus heard it. It was embarrassing. My daughter was upset. And once I was able to hop up and sit next to my daughter before our stop, several other riders were mouthing "oh my god" and pointing to make sure I saw the sign with his name. I did not tip him, but had the few bucks ready to go as usual. While I don't fly all the time, I do a few times a year for work and personal travel. I have never had a negative experience with the Parking Spot before and would like to continue to use the service. The parking spot is a convenience I use every week. I like the fact that it is directly off the highway before the mess around the terminals, the under cover parking, and the accumulation of points on my card - should I ever get a chance to travel for fun instead of business. I also look forward to that bottle of water to re-hydrate after the flight on my drive home. Most weeks, I get there on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation, and park in covered parking. I have found it is best to park as close to the middle as possible, and to get your bags out of the car quickly, so you can get the very next shuttle. They have some kinda funky layouts, as they have expanded and finding your row can be a small challenge if you don't know the front section from the back. Otherwise, you park, you wait a few minutes, and they pick you up at your car and drop you off at ticketing. There are times when I'm running late that I have them drop me off by the gate, instead of the normal spot. Other times I have had to grab a shuttle to get something from the car that I forgot, and other times that they have picked me up and had to rush my to my gate, when my flight was already boarding (weather, traffic, or just stupidity may have delayed my arrival). I have had to have my car jump started, and have had to get help finding my car at all, because I lost the ticket and the weeks run together so much that I can't remember which spot I was in. I use coupons from their website to save a couple bucks for my client. I use their iphone app to find the shuttles and avoid standing out in weather at the terminal. And I most times remember to carry a couple bucks for a tip. After 12 years of consistent use, I have had few complaints. :-) read more

First few times my family used it they took maybe 10 minutes to show up to shuttle us to and from, the last time it took 35 minutes after our long flight for them to come pick us up our the airport. The drivers themselves are nice although the service itself can be improved. read more

Our flight back to Kansas city from Jamicia was canceled because of the Coronavirus. We call the Parking Spot for a pick up while still on the plane and was told they would be waiting for us in front of the American terminal. After about 15 min. of waiting I called the number again and they again said they were on the way. Finally, after another 10 minutes waiting in the cold, they picked us up. No apology. We arrived back one day late. (8 days) When checking out rather than charging us the weekly rate plus one day they charged us for all 8 days at premium parking $15 day. The night manager explained the weekly rate ($9 day) was for 7 days. I had to pay the extra $33 for that one day. That's not ETHICAL. We have parked at the parking spot over 10 times but that is the last. Next time we are parking in Circle parking. Almost the same price without all the pickup and drop off hassle. read more
