Nothing good to say. It is not a spa. It is 4 rooms for massage and nothing more. There is a small sauna in the middle of the hallway. No shower, no bathroom. No amenities. My deep tissue massage was not deep tissue, I question the training of the staff. It is tight and dark there. No calming tea, no calming music. You are shuttled into the room and shuttled out. The cost is one of a major spa. Buyer beware !! The staff need to also learn service. read more

I am surprised this place calls itself a spa. There is literally nothing other than the treatment rooms. No Steam Room. Not even a shower. There is a tiny sauna that looks like a prison cell. We requested and booked couples Swedish massage in couple room . I received a confirmation email only for a service of one person and I called back again and said it's couples massage and they confirmed yes couples massage and couples room and their email have some problem that's why and assured me about the service I requested. We arrived 30 minutes early and when the service provider came they said it's not in couples room it's separate room and it was an mis communication and they have only one couples room . Unfortunately a poor experience for my husband and I. This is not a spa, when we arrived some were in robes and slippers, but we were never offered them. There is no champagne or anything offered before. There are no spa amenities. For the price of 150 plus an added 20% automatic gratuity it is a complete rip off. Our massages were sub par, a lot of just "skin stroking" if that makes sense. My husband said his massage therapist took minutes in between switching to a new body part and sometimes was just poking his skin. We are avid massage goers, and we're really looking forward to this experience as we are away celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. We will not be back. read more

My wife and I booked a couples Swedish massage and it was by far the worst massage we have ever had. The massage therapists lacked the skills necessary to deliver a proper Swedish massage. spa is lovely but small; staff friendly; daughter enjoyed her 90min deep tissue massage; my signature facial was okay. Piped in music was nice but a notch too loud to be relaxing. Bed was heated but warmth didn't reach feet; suggest bootie socks (and maybe even mitt hand warmers). Tech's hands were freezing when she started, and never really warmed. Tech gave a detailed description of extractions to receive approval, then looked for about ten seconds & didn't remove anything. Do not agree with spa gratuity policy. The guest should have the option to determine gratuity amount. read more

We stayed Sunday thru Friday and it was wonderful. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The entire resort is relaxing, beautiful and designed perfectly. We enjoyed the art thought the resort. We had a fabulous couples massage in the spa that was excellent. I will be recommending Allegretto many time over. read more

Overall, the service and treatments were exceptional. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the providers were nice, calm, and relaxing. If I had one item to note, there is no real 'spa experience' and we were just taken to our massage room despite being told we can use the sauna etc. That was a small detail and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. read more

I enjoy spa's all the time. This is not a spa. There is no steam room, no sauna not even lockers rooms. Yet they charge what real spa's charge. There is a small closet that you can change in and a small uncomfortable lounge. My masseuse talked the entire time and the massage was so so. Sad it seems like the "spa" was an after thought. read more

My husband and decided to book a couples massages for our anniversary weekend. We have frequented many spa's in the Bay Area where we live. We showed up 15min early, were seated in a waiting room area with a nice fountain and were not offered any water or anything to drink. Our massage therapists came to greet us 7min after our service was to start. We went straight to the couples room where we had to change right there. Had decent, not great massages and they ended at 50min when it was suppose to be a 60min massage, because they were late starting. After our massages were done and we were a bit oily, we had to change back into our cloths in the same room. It wasn't until we checked out that there was a glass of water for us to drink while we paid our completely overpriced bill. No locker rooms, robes, shower or lounge area at this place. You would expect with such a huge resort, they would have a relaxation area to enjoy after your services. I do not recommend this spa. read more

My husband and I booked for a couples massage the day before, and were immediately accommodated. Upon arrival, staff were professional and provided quality customer service, and were courteous. Alex and Jessica were our masseuses, and let me just say Alex has magic elbows and the right amount of pressure!! My husband said "Jessica, is the best masseuse he's ever had, and knew exactly the areas he needed attention!" We both were pleased with the staff, environment, and massages! I visited this spa on a girls trip. I was very underwhelmed by the spa and my service. I had a facial done. During the service (probably 15 minutes in), the aesthetician comments on how my face is reacting to the treatment and pulls out my phone to show me. Without the reaction, the overall service with Karla was lackluster. My friend felt the same about her facial service. Karla did not explain her process or set the mood - just rubbed cream on our face. Because we ended the treatment early due to the reaction, she said my service would either be comp'ed or discounted. Nope! I was charged the full $180 for a 60 minute service. I didn't feel relaxed, refreshed or any different than when I walked in, aside from a splotchy face. The manager gave me an eye mask to take home for free instead of a discount on the unfulfilled service. If you can find another spa in Paso Robles, I would venture there or don't get a facial here. read more

Last week I stopped by to get a massage while hubby played golf. As soon as I walked in the door of the hotel, I was impressed. All of the hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. I had the Himalayan Salt stone massage and it was super relaxing. The scalp massage was also really good as they brush Argon oil through your hair so you also get a really good conditioning treatment. I got there early and they took me early....how is that for service? All in all one of the best spas I have the pleasure of going to! My husband and I had a couples massage here for the first time. Ale and Christian were excellent. They both paid close attention to our pre-massage input forms. I wanted Ale to work on my head and lower back - she did. And my husband wanted Christian to work on an upper back issue - and she did. These were not cookie-cutter massages! Last week I had the pleasure of getting a massage and facial at the Spa at Allegretto. It was an incredible experience from beginning to end. First off, the ambience of the spa is very relaxing - just what you want when trying to de-stress. The therapy rooms were cozy and clean, with soothing music playing throughout. My facial was wonderful thanks to Ashley who left me feeling rejuvenated (and even a few years younger!). The massage was also lovely, the massage therapist perfectly applied the firmness preferences I indicated on the intake form. Following both services I enjoyed a "cooling down" session outside on the patio on the comfy outdoor chaises. All in all it was a great experience and I will definitely recommend the Spa at Allegretto to hotel guests and locals alike! read more

I got a massage at the Allegretto Spa while I was visiting the Paso Robles area. The experience was more than I could have hoped for! The facilities were top notch and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend Kimberly as a massage therapist. I wasn't staying at the Allegretto resort, although I did walk around the hotels and property - it is beautiful! I would definitely recommend the spa services at the Allegretto resort to both wine country vacationers and to the people lucky enough to live in the central coast area who are looking for a relaxing retreat! I will definitely be returning to the Allegretto Spa next time I visit the Paso Robles area! read more
