I got a organic deluxe pedicure, and that was the best massage/pedicure I have ever received. BUT my toenails didn't get the shape I wanted and all of the nails themselves are all different lengths and shapes.. However, when I was getting my dip powder done to my nails with the extension, they were supposed to match the color to the toenail color, which came as a set and it does not match at all which is as completely Frustrating because they were both numbered the same and same brand! I think they have have mixed up Color numbers. I will say the shape, was beautifully done. I'll try them out again purely for the amazing perks with the pedicure! read more

If there was a zero I would give it. Got my nails done (acrylic) and 7 hours later my nails looked like this. All my nails are peeling and when contacting the salon the owner was SO RUDE to me. Stating "I'm not the one who ruined your nails" though it was his salon and employees that did a poor job. He stated he refused to give me a refund and that he would "see what he could do if I come in" refused to ensure I could get the nails fixed and I got these the day before going out of town and have to pay someone else to fix them. They charged me 80 dollars for these nails. COMPLETE RIP OFF. Do not go. read more

I had a fill in on my nails a week ago at my regular nail salon. I used to go to Spa and Nails but stopped because my fingers hurt so bad after the extreme use of the Dremel file and rough handling. All I I needed was a pedicure and a polish change to match. How bad could it be? The owner said you need a fill too? I said no and explained why. Pedicure proceeds and owner comes back, hovers over tech and says again, you really need a fill too. No I did not! She spoke to the tech obviously in Vietnamese....from there, the tech rushed the service and when she did my nail polish change, she globed on the polish so bad they looked awful. I had to go to another salon to have it done again. I was furious. And it cost me $88 not including tip. Then another $15 at the second salon. Never again! Too many poor experiences. read more

I started going to Spa & Nail Creations last year with my daughter, and then started going on my own which has been ok, but a few weeks ago I walked in without an appointment to see if I could get a fill and although they where able to get me I was told they are busy if I wasn't getting a design it would be ok, and I thought well I never do so ok. I was placed with a tech and she started to do my fill and then asked me who did your nails, looking at them poorly and I said I've been coming here to get them done and she was like shocked, and I just thought well ok maybe a fluke not sure what that was about, maybe upset she has to do my fill. I needed a fill again and since the last experience when I walked in I thought it would be best to call and make an appointment, so I did and explained I would like a pedicure and a fill and I was told what time to show up, I didn't need a day of appointment just wanted to make sure I had one. It was appointment time, and I was there 10 minutes early, so I checked in and picked out my color. When it came to my appointment time the nail tech that was to work with me up and went to someone else and the front desk told me Well sorry but the tech is busy now for a pedicure so there is no one available and I asked ok about a fill, and I was told again there was no one now to work on my nails and was made another appointment in a few days. I didn't go to the other appointment; I clearly am left with the impression that this is not the nail salon for me. And am disappointed by that. read more

I got my nails done here 3 weeks ago. Customer service was pleasant. The nail tech didn't speak much Engish so i ended up not getting what i wanted, but I liked the way he did my nails. They still looked great. He was very kind and happy. The reason I have this review at 2 stars is because one of my nails is infected. I've never had an infection like this. It started 2 weeks after the nail appointment. So not for sure that it was caused by this or not. When i was there my nail also started bleeding (same nail that's now infected). I hurt my nail a few days before but it was just peeling. I didn't think much of it because my nail was already rough. I loved the customer service and how kind my nail tech was, but I don't think it's worth it. Thank you for your nail service and customer service. read more

I received a dip for my nails. Not a gel manicure, but a dip and it didn't even last two weeks. A dip on your nails with polish shouldn't be chipping before two weeks. I've had this procedure done before and it lasted for a month at another nail shop. When I notified Spa nails and showed them my nails with the evidence. The receptionist said there's nothing they can do if it's not within 7 days. If a treatment or procedure done is suppose to last for a specific amount of time and it doesn't, the location should correct the problem. Especially when money has been paid and look for ways to ensure this doesn't happen again. As a result of the above I will have to go to another nail salon for my future services. I had brought my elderly mom in to get a pedicure and manicure. A few minutes into the manicure, the worker began chastising my mom for being unable to fully open her hand. My mom is a stroke survivor, that's the side of her body affected by the stroke! Mom got nervous by the lady's attitude and her fist began to roll into an involuntary tight ball, at which point the worker started to pry it open and run her mouth off at my mom. That's when I put a stop to everything. I told her to stop, don't touch my mom, and how dare you treat her like that when she's obviously disabled. The staff argued with me, said I still have to pay, and I said that's fine, don't effing touch my mom. Mom and I left, and I swore to never go back to this place again. Unreal! read more

This is the second time I have been to this place for a gel manicure and pedicure and I'm just floored by the prices! The first time my mom and I came in for pedicures, we tried using the coupon I received around Mother's Day for two pedicures... After mentioning it multiple times while scheduling and during our appointment... it was never honored and the staff was HORRIBLE when I tried to get it honored! It's been well over a year ago so I decided to go back because the location is extremely convenient. All I can say is WOW! I am just shocked by the price I paid for a BASIC gel manicure and pedicure and a child's gel polish change with a design. First, let me start off by saying I BARELY got a manicure or pedicure and my daughter never got a design. The guy trimmed my toe nails, removed a tiny spot of gel left on my big toes, I got gel polish, soaked my feet in warm tap water for 5 min (nothing in it), then he slathered oil all over my feet and wiped it off with a warm towel.... $51!! My nails? He literally trimmed 2 nails, did my cuticles and made sure he made it completely obvious that me asking to do two nails in a glitter gel color was extremely inconvenient for him. Definitely NOT personable. That cost me $43! I have polish all over my fingers, the glitter I asked for is super blotchy, my thumb is smudged, and I still have a ton of dry skin around my cuticles. Then I paid $35 for my 6 year old daughter to get a polish change (nails/toes) and design... Welp! I was charged for a design she never got and when I told the staff they just said "oh" and shrugged it off. $122 is the most I've paid for mani/pedis for me and my 6 year old and they are the worst I've ever had! UPDATE: Two days later, all of the Polish from my daughter's "Polish Change" fell off and less than a week later my nails are already chipping read more

I showed the lady upfront only to get a horrible attitude. I have had my nails done numerous times in my life and never had this issue. I should start out by saying I'm reviewing this spot based on their lash extension services and not on their nails. This is my second time coming into Tweedy for lash extensions and she did such a great job both times. I've been getting my lashes done for about 9 years straight now and have gone to many people in the valley and she's one of the best lash artists for the price she charges. Don't let this nail salon fool you, she gives nice and fluffy lashes that stay in for weeks AND she works quickly getting me out of there in an hour. I schedule every 3 weeks with her whereas other salons have a quicker turn around time and take up to 2.5 hours just for a fill. I highly recommend going to her if you're looking for extensions that are good and affordable. read more

I've never been so disappointed after getting my nails done. I've gotten the SNS dip don't multiple times in the past and never have I had them look this awful. I asked the nail tech for an ombré coloring and he told me he couldn't not do that. I have shorter nails so I assumed that's why and so I expressed i wanted a light nude pink. Instead I got a baby doll pink. He did not push down my cuticles and barely shaped my nails to make them even before beginning. After the dip was done and he was filing them down he took a big chunk out of it on my thumb and had to redo it. Then he filed the edge of my middle finger so much it started to bleed. They turned out so big and bulky and uneven on top I was speechless. I was in a rush so couldn't ask them to fix it but needless to say I will not be going back after this experience. read more

I have gone to SO many nail salons in Mesa. I would consistently end up with nail sets that broke easily at best, chipping polish within the first few days and bloody or sore fingers at worst. This is HANDS DOWN the best nail salon in Mesa. I've been going here every two weeks since March and have had multiple nail technicians do my nails and they've all done a great job. I do a design pretty much every time ranging from simple tips or flowers to more complex sets and have been very very happy with the results. My husband and I also like to get pedicures here as well. I have been here before and didn't have a bad experience. Was done quickly and got what I wanted. When I sat down today for my 3:30 appointment I showed the tech a picture of what I wanted I said "same color shape and length." Well after sitting in the chair for almost 2 hours I didn't get what I asked for. I was irritated and upset at this point. Honestly fine with the color but upset that the length and shape are completely wrong. Not wasting my time here again. I was told this tech is very detail oriented but I didn't think shape and length would be excluded from that. I asked for a simple color and gave them exactly the picture I wanted. I visited the salon because my mom had a BOGO pedicure coupon. We both got the classic pedicure and regular manicures. I came in with a Gel-X manicure on and the nail technician trimmed down my nails but did not soak off the Gel-X nail from my last manicure. He filed down my nails and painted over them. I didn't realized he wasn't going to soak them off until he started painting. At that point I was already there way longer than I wanted to be. Unfortunately, I had a traumatizing experience getting my eyebrows done here. I had a specific lady I ask for when I visit this salon for my eyebrows. The one day she wasn't there, another person who claimed she taught my lady how to do eyebrow waxing, did mine. One of the thinnest skin in our body is in our eyebrows, and I burned mine at this location. I hope this never happens to anyone else. It was very painful, and I've never gotten my eyebrows waxed after this experience - I get them threaded now. Unfortunately my review is the same as so many others. Me and my boyfriend came for pedicures a couple weeks ago and felt this place was nice and did a good job on our pedicures but my nails are another story. My nails felt rushed and it was sloppy. The nail tech was getting the paint all over my hands and she did not get the sides of my nails. When I complained about it looking bubbly/ bumpy the nail tech got quiet and handed me over to someone else who did a third coat and it wasn't as streaky looking but the sides of my nails still were not done. I am a very quiet person and normally wouldn't say much but my nails have never been done this badly. I was still charged full price although I complained to both techs and the front desk. I will be traveling all the way to Glendale in order to go to my old shop now. Ugh it sucks because this place is less than 5 minutes from me. Do you know the average woman that visits nail salons regularly spend at least $2,000 to $4,000 annually on hands, nails and feet? It's usually worth it if that's what makes us happy. On that note it's important to have a good relationship with the people that take care of you. Pro: My experience with Tang on gel or acrylic is always great. Con: I've always had regrets with any other nail tech there. Con: The owner will not always be available. Pro: The updated place is gorgeous. Con: Higher prices, less value. My reason for 2 stars is simply because the last few appointments I had were negative. I can understand we all have our days but when paying for a service you look forward to and enjoy consistency there's no justifying. My pedicures from there have been pretty half ass lately. Going home to clean off nail polish from my skin and cuticles, sugar scrub still all over my legs, clipped skin, nail file broke skin likes rough paper cut along edge of a few nails. Toenails kept getting rounded out making me look like a bird, even after asking to please only file straight. Heels got almost zero attention. Which is weird since they have all these wonderful high end pedicure options. Just to give a mediocre bleh job. I went years without these things happening. Now I've just been accepting it and still tipping only for it to keep happening. I'm starting to feel like I'm in an abusive relationship lol. No thank you. Moving on. Hopefully they improve. I came in for a pedicure and was cut not once but TWICE with the callus removing instrument. The employee quickly dabbed some kind of liquid on the cuts (without asking me first) that burned incredibly bad. Hopefully I do not get an infection. Will not be coming here again. Spent $127 for a gel manicure and a special spa pedicure. I have nothing but nice things to say about the older woman who did my nails I can tell she really was putting in the effort when it came to my pedicure which was $66 and I tipped her well for it. But I don't think this company did her or myself right by letting bee do the gel manicure. It seems like she really didn't know what she was doing, I have had many gel manicures before and her process was not correct. If they were more efficient here they would have had someone else work on my gel nail while I was having a pedicure and someone who knows how to do it properly. I was there for about 1 and a half hours maybe longer. After day 1 my manicure was already cracking and this is now day 3 I have chipping on multiple nails and cracking all over. See pictures attached. I would have hoped for a $45+ gel manicure that I would last longer than 3 days and judging from the other reviews on here this company does not stand by there work. Which is unfortunate since I was hoping to find a solid place to continue getting my nails and toes done since moving to AZ. See pictures. I went to this place like a couple of months ago to try them out. The first time their service was ok. I had a pedicure and manicure done. I went back and was not happy with their work, they kept grinding my nails down with this electric tool. I asked them not too because my nails are very thin to begin with.. she seem to get upset because I asked her not to .so she took a hand held file cube and started to file my nails and in the process she scrape some of my skin off from the sides of my fingers.. but I still went back a 3rd time and asked her not to use the tool on my fingernails she just looked at me and nodded not sure if she spoke English or not because she kept speaking to her coworkers in there language, than she started to file my nails with the tool that I told her not to use.. I tried to tell her not to use it but she kept going until I pulled my hand away and told her no.. after that she was rude and mean when she did my pedicure she cut the side of my toe and she didn't say anything she just took a little bottle and poor it on the cut that was bleeding..
