I had been going here for over a year, and usually schedule an appointment ahead of time. This time I was a walk in to replace my dip, and I got right in. I picked out a chrome polish and I had asked him if it was extra and at first he said no, and then about 20 seconds later he changed it and said for chrome dip it is $10 more. I wanted it so I said that's fine, I'll stick with it. After he took my dip off he started to file my nails and they were already almond shape because that's what I've always done, and as he is filing the second nail he says "for almond shape it is $5 more" and I told him I've been coming here for a year and not once and someone said they are going to charge me to file my nails how I prefer. I told him never mind and I will just pay for the take off and got up to go pay. I told the lady at the counter I wanted to just pay for the dip take off and she walked over to the guy to ask him how much and he charged me $10, however I looked on their site later that night and on the site it is $5. The guy just kept up charging me the whole time and it was ridiculous. Never going here again, and making sure everyone knows that nail techs have their own prices on top of the normal charge. read more

I saw the Initial cut site too late... it took me a while to notice... we also tried to sort out an overcharge on my mother's services, but the "head women" in that day kept jumping in saying "that's what you asked for" when my mother just wanted a clear coat, and her technician did gel.. and made her pay for that even though she specified multiple times before sitting in his chair. The technician payed her no mind and continued to apply.. Also be carful.. because the guy who also did my moms toes poped on some dazzle talking about "you shine like diamond you get diamond" after he charged her for something she didn't want or ask for.. we didn't want to cause a scene.. but if your clients request a job it should be done as asked... thank you... don't plan on going to a place with technicians who cannot fulfill what you've asked for but want to and stuff you didn't even ask for.. saying "it's easier if I do it this way.. I'm giving this place three stars, i think he did a good job on the nail design and the place is clean. To me $66 for this set was a little too high but that is not what made me give three stars. I was cut 5 times... 5! I attached photos so they can be seen but the cuts were actually pretty painful and I always have a concern after that about health safety, it is very easy to get a staph infection from cuts in nail salons. read more

Let me start off by saying some of the employees are super nice . I loved my manicure, my pedicure was not the best. The man who did my manicure was super nice and genuine, he also did a great job! He's the one who sits right next to the receptionist. The reason I took off 2 stars, The pedicure was nothing like my manicure, the lady who did it looked like she wasn't pleased to do my pedicure. As she started everything was going fine, by the time she got to massaging my legs, she only did one leg. Then when she painted the toes, it looks so uneven (look at pictures attached) . I was not pleased! I also went in with my sister in law and she got the same exact pedicure with a better paint job and both legs massaged and got charged 5 dollars less than I ! First time visiting Creations. Super clean, attentive employees, and efficient. I had an amazing technician named Nohella and she did an incredible job and was FUN to talk to. My only complaint is how the owner spoke to his employees. I was shocked with how he spoke to Nohella in front of me. It was rude and very uncomfortable.... she handled his abrasiveness beautifully despite the awkwardness. Was charged $45 for a nail dip manicure instead of the regular price nail dip charge because they said they had to do extra work to take the black polish off to put white polish on. I've never had that issue before but I was not in the mood to argue but now that I'm in my car driving away, I'm looking at the quality of the work done on my nails compared to where I went before coming here & it's so bad. My mom and I came here instead of going to our normal salon, due to then being booked up. I asked for white and I do dip. The gentleman who did my dip used an unclean brush so my nails are pink, not white. My mom had a rash on both legs from how rough they were with her pedicure. Her nails were also broken 2 days after we got them done. That's has NEVER happened again. I called and talked to the owner and he said he could credit our account and not give us a refund. I told him I'd tell my mom and she would call. He went back on his words, proceeded to call us both liars and hung up on her. I have an infection in my fingers from this experience. I was charged $60 for a mediocre pedicure with manicure. I was up sold a mask for my legs, which was still on the back of my legs when I left (it wasn't completely washed off). I still had so much cuticle and hang nails remaining after I left it was almost as if I didn't even have a manicure. The only sign of it was the $5 "buff" in replacement of polish. I have been coming here for my fills and pedis since they opened 10 or 12 years ago and they have always had great service and a friendly staff. The place is always clean and Tang likes to keep it stylish and up to date. When covid hit I was a concerned about going anywhere, but the precautions that were taken, especially the plexiglass between the customer and the technician made me feel comfortable to go in and get service, which says a lot. Thang made my wedding nail dreams come true. I brought in a picture with 3D acrylics and he made them looked even better than I had imagined. The next day I came in with my entire wedding party and had Lily for my pedicure. Her massage was awesome! I was so, relaxed before my wedding day. Terrible. My nail artist showed up late to my appointment and rushed the entire experience. The pedicure isnt worth its cost. Their pollish selection is majority OPI, the $10 drug store crap. For the pedicure the water was cold, my nail artist left whole patches of dead skin on my feet, rubbed only one leg, checked multiple texts on her phone, left huge amounts of lotion on my legs, and left pollish on my toes. First thing I noticed was he didn't cut my nails, had I known he wasn't going to cut them I would've cut them myself. He didn't push back my cuticles or do anything to trim my nails. He did right hand thumb nail nice and thin, and when I asked if he can do them all the same thickness, he said I should've told him from the start, acting as if I was supposed to know he wasn't going to match them. Very rude service, won't go back. Didn't even put clear nail polish on correctly you can see on the bottom where it looks as if I painted over overgrown acrylics. Since my last review was removed, I will speak to my experience going to Spa & Nail Creation. I found the staff to be uninformed and unwilling to accommodate my sister and myself in getting a pedicure due to her being in a wheelchair. We were unable to get service since I was not going to get a pedicure without her so when I found out they would not accommodate her I left. Here is a picture from inside the nail shop which shows they could if they wanted to accommodate us for service. Hopefully, they have to change their policy and others can be accommodated. read more

I don't know if I can go back to this place. I rarely treat myself to get my nails done but I did it for a big beach trip next week I've been here in the past and wasn't really sure where else to go. Figured it would be fine. First- the nail colors to choose from was disgusting and super messy. They are never organized great but this was a free for all. And they were dirty. Second- getting your nails done SHOULD NOT HURT. Ever. The lady who did mine was somewhat friendly but everything she did hurt and it because so uncomfortable to have to correct her every time and I was with a friend so I really didn't want to micro manage every step but things were going south. Worst being the side of my toe is cut, bleeding and now 3 days later red and swollen STILL. Cuticles don't look great. Gel is wrinkled next to the cut so I can't even go back and get it fixed. I had to make her use toe separators so the gel polish wouldn't accidentally get smudged but too late. There's extra gel into my cuticles in some places and no polish on the side of my nails in other places. The callus remover scrub tool was a weird texture- instead of a smooth metal scrubber like most salons the metal jetted out leaving scratches all over my feet the next day and still dry skin and callouses. I did try to tell her she was hurting me a few times it didn't seem to make a difference. There's no way this crappy pedicure is lasting through my trip next week I am so annoyed and disappointed and praying this cut she gave me isn't infected. Total for a basic gel pedicure was $70. This is why I usually just do my nails myself this was such a waste of money. You shouldn't be in PAIN after getting your nails done and you shouldn't need to micro manage the nail tech so they don't skip corners and you get a half decent result. I'm sure some people have a decent experience here- the salon is cute enough. But I would take the one stars serious and don't waste your money. Find someplace cleaner and safer. read more
