My first time visiting this salon and I will never return again. I went in for a lash refill by Kimberly. She never asked me any questions about my lashes and was a bit rough pulling on my eyelids. It hurt when she removed some lashes. There was no relaxing spa music and the pillow on the bed was uncomfortable. When she finished my lashes she barely waived the fan over them to dry. I sat up and noticed she placed a mirror on the bed. She didn't ask what I thought about the lashes. She just picked up her phone and looked busy and uninterested. I looked in the mirror and noticed my lashes were so thick and my right side was fuller than the left. I told her my lashes weren't this full. She offered to remove some. I told her I will just wait for them to fall off. I asked her do I pay up front or with you. Again, this was my first time there. She told me to pay upfront. Worse customer service. Beyond disappointed. This place should remove spa from their name. There is absolutely no spa vibe there. I can't speak for the rest of the services but if you need lashes, avoid this place! read more

Avoid the heap spa- cold water was used and she burned my head several times using the hair dryer. Hair is a mess and absolutely disgusting products in terms of smell and how it leaves your hair - save your money!! The only reason I'd give this establishment two stars is because the receptionist was extremely friendly and apologetic while I waited for my appointment. The establishment was also very clean and well-organized. Time/Wait: This spa does not value your time. My appointment was scheduled for 5:30 and I was not seen until 5:50. Pedicure: My pedicure was very relaxing, and helped me to not mind the 20-minute wait I had. Manicure: This is where everything truly went wrong. I got a full acrylic gel set for the price (w/out tip) of $67. The whole manicure was very amateur and even though the nail tech took her time, it seemed like it was more-so because she didn't know what she was doing. She managed to cut the area around my cuticle on two separate fingers, and the acrylic around my cuticles still look horrible and rushed. Why is it that every time I call they answer and please hold .... 7 minutes later I hang up and call back and said I was on hold for over 7 minutes ... their answer oh I'm sorry Just called again today .. they answer with please hold and again I hung up after 5 minutes and call back with no reason why on hold so long. Really went downhill. Last week I got a pedicure and they clipped my cuticles so short I was bleeding for 30 minutes. I'm not sure who did my pedicure but not only did she make me bleed but my nail polish was spotty and wasn't clean, it was all over my toes. I went today to get an acrylic fill and had another awful experience. Hannah was very rough, hardly cleaned her area and didn't make me wash my hands. But the worst of all is that she messed up my design. I'm usually not very picky and did not expect much but I thought French is very basic. I understand it is still a design but it looks like she has never done French but I assume a lot of people ask for it. I've also never had my nails cured so many times in my life. I've been getting my nails done for years too. The only one here worth going to is Kim. But besides that I'm very disappointed in the other nail techs here. Wish I could get a refund. read more

It was my first time here and I didn't have a reservation but they took me in and sat me down after 5 minutes of waiting. I haven't had my haircut for a year ish because I love that I had it long and it took awhile to make it grow but tis the season, had to get one because of the split ends also. The lady that did my hair was really nice and she asked if I had a picture of how I wanted my hair cut to be but I didn't so I just explained it to her. I already knew it wasn't going to turn out good. Because I just could tell. Whenever I have my hair short, I get the usual cut. Its really short in the back, long layers on the side (which the front is longer than the back) like a v-cut and my hair is thinner not thick but in the end it turned out all even. The side is even not layered. Let's just say Dora the Explorer is back at it again. I did tell the lady I wanted it longer on the front and short in the back but she insisted that it was. I didn't want to argue and I was really upset inside that I just wanted to leave. I'm sorry but I don't like my haircut! I didn't pay for it, my sister did. Interesting place. I've been getting my hair done here by Lori for about a year. I went in with virgin hair and had balayage done which turned out nice. I went back I want to say 2-3 times after for the same thing and my hair progressively got more and more blond which is not what I wanted at all. When I went in about 2 months ago I actually showed my initial picture we started with and my hair ended up ALL a yellow blond. I called the next day as I wanted to just give it a day... to schedule to have low lights added. When the appointment came around the salon called to cancel me as Lori had to go home. I reschedule but then I had to cancel and reschedule. When I called to schedule to have it 'fixed' I was told Lori no longer wanted to have me as a client. That's fine of course, just extremely unprofessional to #1 damage my hair and not offer to fix it, to cancel on me, it's not like I have all the time in the world to just get my hair done, but then to not own it at all. Overall, I did go back a few times but only the first service was good. The cost is good which is why I went back numerous times but you really do get what you pay for so, just use caution. My hair needs to recover and has been breaking so don't get the balayage! read more

Beware!! I should've read the reviews before getting acrylics here. Worst acrylics I've ever had!! PLEASE DO NOT LET HANNA DO YOUR NAILS!! Run!! I asked her repeatedly to fix them, and she kept saying they were fine and that's how they're supposed to look (lopsided and over the nail bed). I'm not picky and my expectations are at a standard for what I pay. But leaving mail product hanging over the nail is a no where ever you go. Met a friend here for manicures. Honestly, it was a pretty great experience. I called and scheduled- they were super accommodating. I arrived about 5-10 minutes early and they took me right back to the chair to look at color swatches. They have so many dip powder options, which was amazing. They let me and my friend sit next to each other. They would make a little pleasant small talk, but they mostly let us have our conversations. The manicure itself was great! I scheduled just for a dip powder manicure. She was very patient as I searched through the colors to find one I wanted, and started prepping my nails while I decided. My nails were in such bad shape before getting started, but she got the cuticles and nail bed cleaned up so nicely! The one slight complaint I have is that I feel like the shape of the pointer fingers is a little uneven, but honestly that's not the end of the world. The dip powder itself was applied beautifully, and she took the extra time to smooth and buff it down at the end to give a more natural appearance. (I've been to salons before that charge $60+ and they don't buff the dip down and leave it super bulky.) at the end she applied the cuticle oil and gave a great hand massage! I was so excited about the massage because other salons I've been too skip the massage for dip powder manicures! Their dip powder manicures start at $35, which is an amazing price! Overall it was a great experience, and I would recommend this nail salon to anyone in the Gilbert area! As a side note! We got on the topic of the other El Bella location in chandler - this is owned by a different company, but both salons are located on Queen Creek Road- so just be mindful of where you're booking your appointments because you wouldn't want to go to the wrong location! read more

I visited the spa with some friends for my birthday. We bought packages and spend a lot of money when we went. My package included a manicure. I upgraded my manicure to gel knowing there would be an additional cost. I ended up paying and extra $70 on top of my package. I spoke to the front staff that I shouldn't have to pay for a complete set of gel nails on top of my package but just what the additional cost was for gel instead of a manicure. I left paying only for the upgrade. I got a call from the front desk saying their manager told them to charge my credit card for the extra amount. This is just bad business! This last time they told me I needed to sign a waiver in order for them to trim my toe nail because I stubbed it and it was swollen! He not only has the experience but has the upper body strength to power through your knotted muscles and you will feel like a wet noodle when he is finished with you. When originally booking, I requested a specific order so it would go from least relaxing treatment to most relaxing treatment and they said that was no problem. The pedicure was amazing, I was literally falling asleep. The waxing was great too, I had my underarms waxed for the first time and couldn't even feel it. I just wish I didn't feel rushed. First, i always found it so weird that they would always put me in the "private area" off to the side where they do the waxes those chairs there when there has always been plenty of other open chairs In the main open area for pedicures.
