I've been at the St Pete pier twice now, and both times I stopped at the spa beach bistro, it is located in the middle of the pier next to the kids playground, I first bought ice cream and sat down by the beach, we stay there for a little while, walked around the pier and then we went back for dinner, I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with lemonade, child ordered a chicken tender meal from the kids menu, it was around the holidays so they had live christmas music, we also had hot cocoa towards the end of the day. Food was fast, tasty, I liked it very much. The pier have other restaurants but this was convenient, they had a line to order, it moved pretty fast, we enjoyed our evening there and definitely we would go back. Recommended.

Nice outdoor casual seating with the view of the bay and palm trees. A good place for snacks if you like to have a bite while walking around the piers. There is a splash pad next to this place for kids to jump around and enjoy. We had Margarita pizza on thin flatbread crust, nicely prepared and great!

A great outside cafe located on the St. Pete Pier. We ordered a couple pizza's and the homemade lemonade and it was delicious. We ordered at the counter then sat at an outdoor table.

This spot is located about halfway down St. Pete pier. We came on a Saturday night before the Rowdies game and had a lot of fun. Pizza came out so fast and was absolutely delicious. There was also a bar next to it that was selling beer, seltzers and fun frozen cocktails. Surprisingly not too expensive for being right on the pier! For pizza, I got the veggies lover and had zero complaints. We were a big party (group of ten) and didn't want to wait for a long time at a sit-down restaurant. So highly recommend this pizza spot for a quick bite to eat, fun dinner out with friends and/or to enjoy the lovely weather on St. Pete pier!

What is this cup supposed to do? Other than not let you drink out of it.

Lovely place to visit, horrible place to eat. I'm sorry but the food leaves much to be desired for such an awesome place. The food doesn't match the location. We had the pizza. It is chewy, doughy, no flavor. Not well cooked and served barely warm. Pricey for this quality of a pie. The snow cones are served in the most inconvenient cup. I don't know how to eat this as it doesn't even come with a spoon. The ice cream was barely ok, but still not the 5-star experience you'd think a vendor would give if they had this type of backdrop. Salads are gas station style, like a good gas station but not restaurant quality at all.

Atmosphere - Great! Located near the front of the new Pier located in downtown St Pete, this is a counter service restaurant that offers a variety of wood fire pizzas, among other food items. There are around a dozen four top tables that are spread out nicely. Street entertainers (Buskers) frequent the area. Service- Excellent. The staff was friendly and our pizza was served hot and in a timely manner. Food - Very good. The crust was done perfectly, the sauce tasted great and the toppings (cheese and pepperoni) fresh. Overall Value - very good. A great tasting, 6 cut pizza for $10 served at a great outdoor seating area with entertainment! We will definitely return. Covid Practices - Lacking. Staff members wore masks and gloves. One serious deficiency is that the person responsible for cleaning and clearing tables after patrons depart used only a cloth to wipe down the tables and chairs. A sanitizer should, obviously, be used.

First visit to The Pier and we will certainly return. I love pizza, so when I saw this restaurant on our initial walk through, I stated that I wanted to come back and have lunch there. After wandering around, we returned and ordered our pizza. They have many varieties and you can also order your own specialty pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was $9.99, which we found to be a good deal. They give you a number, you go sit down and they bring it out to you. The staff was very friendly and upbeat. We waited about 10 minutes and out came our pizza, piping hot. They don't give you plates, napkins or silverware. There is a table near the restaurant that you can get napkins and condiments. The pizza was very good. The crust is on the thinner side, which I like, and the sauce and pepperoni were plentiful. Definitely would return. My only gripe is that they don't clean the tables after patrons leave. We were there for a long time as a busker was doing a show and we were watching it, and people came and left and nobody cleaned anything. We did see a young man with a white cloth in his hand at one point, but without disinfectant in hand, whatever he may have done would be useless.

A LITTLE BACKSTORY - My mom and sisters have been on COVID-19 lockdown HARD for the past 18 months and our contact has been very limited. Not sure if they would even be willing to see us we decided in the Spring to book a 4-day July vacation to St. Petersburg instead of Tampa (where they live). However, to our delight over the last month or two they have began to soften their stance and drove over to St. Pete for dinner. My mother requested St. Pete Pier because it was out in the open air and had lots of options. This would be her very first public food outing in over a year. We chose Doc Ford's for dinner, but the wait time was about 2 hours. so we all decided to share pizza @ Spa Beach Bistro to hold us over until our table was ready. It was an excellent choice! While there were mixed opinions on the fresh made lemonade (which I enjoyed), we were all in agreement that the pizza was great! My family hails from Chicago, so pizza is sacred! Between the six of us we had a meat lovers, sausage & pepperoni, and a veggie pizza with cauliflower crust. I enjoyed the meat lovers a little too much because I couldn't stop eating it and practically ruined my appetite for dinner @ Doc Ford's. Everyone else seemed to enjoy the pizza as well, but my wife was a little mixed about the cauliflower crust. OVERALL I thought it was a great experience. The lemonade was a tad strong, but still very refreshing on a hot day. The Meat Lovers Pizza was excellent in my opinion and this section of the pier also included a splash pad for little ones and entertainment from acrobatic street performers on one side and a really amazing singer on the other. Mom even got a standing ovation from the small crowd for her old school stepping as she jammed with the singer! It was a great evening. 2021 / 95

Location, Location ,Location.... We got a couple of Pizza's and they were good, but for this place to put out a good pizza and cold drinks (full liquor license) on the pier! Fuhgetaboutit! Great spot, it's not about fine dining it's about the #Location and that, ya can't beat!!!

Great spot if you're walking around the area. We stumbled upon this place while walking the pier and grabbed a few drinks. It's located right in the middle of the pier, so it's great if you're on foot walking in the area. There's also a parking lot right next to it, which probably has 20-30 cars worth of vacancy, if you're looking to drive. You just need to pay by the meter (accepts cards). If you're walking, you can take the drinks to go as you walk down the pier or just hangout at their tables outside. There isn't any seating inside, as it's meant to be a purely outdoor establishment. The drinks weren't anything too pricey and have a wide variety of beers and almost all standard mixed drinks. We ordered a craft beers and a few margaritas and they were fantastic. The bartender was also incredibly nice and gave us the rundown of the area. It was also incredibly quick, as there wasn't any lines at the bar. All in all, would definitely recommend.

Hands down, this is the best pizza in St. Pete. In a world obsessed with scanning QR codes and fighting with glitchy reservation apps, Cappy's relies on the ultimate, foolproof piece of technology: you write your name on a yellow legal pad. It is my absolute favorite system on earth. The old-school vibe doesn't stop there--you want a drink? Go grab it yourself out of the cooler, because they operate on the honor system. It's glorious. We were first-timers, but Rob took us under his wing and provided absolutely amazing service, guiding us through the experience like a seasoned sherpa. Respecting my roots, we obviously went with a Chicago Style Deep Dish, ordering "The Cappy" loaded up with sausage, ham, pepperoni, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. When this structural marvel of dairy and dough arrived, it defied gravity. The cheese pull was so ridiculously long I was genuinely concerned I was going to have to stand on my chair to finally snap it. The pizza was so incredibly thick and deep that, despite our most heroic and ravenous efforts, we could only conquer half of it. Carrying the takeout box with the remaining half back to the car literally felt like lugging a 10 lb weight. Come for the legendary deep dish, stay for the yellow pad, and prepare to get an upper-body workout just carrying your leftovers home.

I saw OLIVIA and also realized their tableside chicken parm that had been all over social media was about to end, so I figured why the heck not and headed over. I've actually been to OLIVIA locations in South Florida years ago, and at the time I remember thinking it was good but not quite worth the price. After seeing so many good reviews of the St. Pete location and videos of cheese going on chicken parm plates, I figured it was time to give it another shot. For cocktails, I tried the Sicilian Lemonade, which was excellent. It had a really nice lemon flavor without being overly sweet, and I'd definitely order it again. For food, I started with the Caesar salad, which I found out was deconstructed. It tasted great and the presentation is nice, although the tower falls apart pretty quickly once you start eating it, so plan your attack accordingly. My only complaint was that mine had very little dressing. I definitely don't like an overdressed Caesar, but this was almost the opposite extreme. The tableside chicken parm was the highlight. The chicken itself was great quality, the breading wasn't too heavy, and having the cheese obviously makes for a great presentation, but it also genuinely tasted really good. I added a side of cacio e pepe, which paired perfectly with it, along with the garlic bread. The garlic bread was fantastic and is worth noting. I finished with the olive oil cake. It was very moist and tasted good, although I was expecting the flavor to be a little more distinctive given that it's an olive oil cake. It mostly tasted like a really well-made, moist slice of cake to me. Good, but probably not something I'd specifically come back for. Overall, this visit definitely changed my opinion of OLIVIA compared with my experiences years ago. The St. Pete location is beautiful, the service was top notch, and almost everything I tried was excellent.
