My husband booked a makeup artist through her on the day of my civil ceremony because he thought I needed a touch-up based on a conversation we had earlier. Given that the booking was made only a few hours prior (specifically 2.5 hours), I asked if a refund or even a credit for a future service would be possible. Instead, Debbie was rude and ultimately stopped responding altogether. I understand having policies, but the lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic communication- especially for such an important life event, was extremely disappointing. In response to your message: Thank you for your response, but I have to respectfully disagree with how this situation was handled. While I understand that my husband made the booking in good faith, this was clearly a misunderstanding, and the service itself was never meaningfully performed. The makeup artist arrived, assessed that no service was needed, and left within minutes. Charging the full amount under these circumstances feels unreasonable and, frankly, inappropriate. As a healthcare provider, I regularly prioritize patient experience and fairness. If a service is not rendered, or is stopped almost immediately due to a misunderstanding, I would never feel comfortable charging in full without offering some form of resolution- whether that be a credit or partial refund. That is simply good practice and builds trust. While I understand you have policies in place, there should also be room for reasonable discretion, especially when the outcome clearly does not align with the service charged. In this case, it feels less like a matter of policy and more like a lack of flexibility and consideration. I've been to hotels, specialty massage business and have had in home massages and NOBODY compared to Brandy. She is the best! I was in desperate need since everything is closed and I contacted Spa Connections and had someone at my house Within two hours. I was worried about Covid safety and from her arrival to departure I felt like she did everything to follow the Covid safety. She washed her hands multiple times, wore a mask the entire time. A friend of mine who works as a concierge in Beverly Hills gave me this mobile spa's info so i could look into setting up a Bridal Shower party for my sister, who was recently engaged. My friend (the concierge who works with them) said great things about this company, and i loved the idea of getting my sister's friends together and spoiling everyone rotten in celebration of her big day! Actually, I have to make a comment regarding Spa Connections and what I just read....I too, received a gift certificate and don't believe the last review to be true by any means! I have never met such a delightful and accommodating Mobile Spa Service! Not only is this company a pleasure to be serviced by, but Allison herself, is one of the most helpful and sincere owners I have ever met! As far as I understand, not on my gift certificate nor on the website-does it guarantee service within one hour....maybe, there was some confusion and anger because it's next to impossible to accommodate a service on Labor Day weekend within an hours notice and an expiring certificate. One more thing, there is no value stated anywhere of $210.00 an hour...I find it rude and unsavvy to write such a scandalous review based on emotions alone. Obviously, Spa Connections wouldn't have such a presence if this is the way Allison runs her business. My highest regards to Allison, Spa Connections and all they have to offer!! read more

Spa Connections -- recommended by the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, where I was lucky enough to be spending three nights -- sent over Laura F. within an hour. She arrived on the dot with a table and music and a genuine interest in making sure I received the specific treatment I was looking for. As with all of my favorite massage therapists, she was cheerful and genuinely interested in her craft, then once work began she was silent except for quiet check-ins for pressure.
