A second edit as this person keeps trying to change their story up! For one you did state that you were the owner! I asked the same question twice,Maddie said you had cameras within your business so you can pull them up and see exactly what you said to me! I don't need to make stories up! For two my initial visit back in 2020 was to add highlights into my hair to achieve a lighter color! I never stated I needed my hair to be platinum blonde whatsoever! The second visit is in my text messages and I have proof I never once asked for platinum blonde by any means. Also coming back for "complimentary" service because my hair had orange bleach stains is not anything to do with me or my hair and mainly the service of your stylist,she also stated that it was the lighting in your salon! I have all of the proof! Please just take ownership of your actions! I now have to go and get corrective coloring due to your stylist failing to bleach my roots correctly and you telling me that it's my fault for not returning 6-8 weeks when for one I would have never said okay to this to begin with and two this is not true.I asked for a service that was horribly done as well as you as the manager sure aren't a friendly one! Not to mention if your calling it "corrective services" was it a complimentary correction to the mistakes the stylist made due to poor lighting? If the services I requested were not something that could be reached I should have been told so! There's is no time limit on when one should have their hair colored! No one also told me such that you have said in your response,take ownership for your mistakes! As well as it not a good look posing as the owner when in fact, you are not! I have no problem paying for services that are correct however the charges and names you charged me for were not services I had done! I am not one to post bad reviews but I had to share my experience to forewarn others in my situation. I found this salon from a lady at my Drs office and made an appointment for August 1st 2020 and requested I have my hair colored from washed out highlights to blonde, went in everything looked okay, next day I was admiring my hair and realized what I walked out with was not the same color. I reached out to the stylist (Maddie)and she was extremely apologetic and asked me to come back in so she could repair the color! Service went well except for the fact that i had to walk out with wet hair because she didn't have time to blow dry the hair. Monday January 3rd I reached back out to Maddie for a root touch up and was asked to come in the same day at 4. I requested roots from natural to blonde, a trim, and a blow dry. I was the last client in the salon that night and felt the rush as she cut my hair in less then 10 minutes and didn't fully blow my hair out. I was also charged for a (full) highlights with cut 150.00 and a single process color and blow dry for 55.00. Maddie only applied bleach to my roots and toner to my whole head. I did question the charges with Julie (said owner) and was immediately corrected with that's their charges for double process. That same night i was again admiring my hair and noticed a bright orange band where my roots once were, I immediately reached out to Maddie via text the following morning and advised her of the color, she then stated it must have been due to the lighting in the salon and asked when I could come back for again color repair. I made it in the same day and she was assisted by another stylist doing the other half my my roots. Today my hair has splotches of orange as well as my hairline hairs is all orange. I called at 12:12 pm and spoke to a Julie( said owner) who then told me "I waited too long" and that I should have come back 6-8 weeks after I initially had my hair done to avoid any bands in my hair, she did not take any ownership and was extremely rude to me when questioned. I asked her if i could speak to the owner as her service to me was rude and was told "I'm it", when I asked her for her last name initial she then hung up on me! I bought a Groupon for a cut and color with Sloane two years ago and this has since been my salon go to. Immediately when you walk in you are pleasantly greeted and offered cookies. The salon is clean and everyone is friendly. Sloane is outstanding. She is so personable and professional. My hair always looks amazing. Maria has washed my hair every time is so incredibly sweet and diligent with trying to get ever spot of color off my forehead (and she's as gentle as can be). This salon will continue to be my go to because of cleanliness, professionalism, and just an overall inviting environment to go, relax and enjoy your you time. I love this salon! From the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave you feel welcome. Everyone is friendly--the girls at the front desk, the hair washers, the stylists, the owner--all make you feel at home. Stephanie is very talented and does a great job with my hair. I had tried other places and they could never get my hair the shade of blonde I wanted--always came out brassy, but Stephanie is able to get it the shade I want and it comes out beautifully. She always makes me feel like I am the most important customer there. I have been going to Spa Essence for over 15 years now for my hair. I see Chris and she takes wonderful care of me! Over the years I have had my hair cut, highlighted, colored, and even styled for my wedding. Chris keeps my hair very healthy, even with all of the color-I always get compliments! I came to this salon on a good word from a friend and the service was horrendous. the girl who did my hair Stephanie I think it was did an awful job and I had to go somehwere else to get my hair fixed I do not suggest going here at all Stephanie should be fired for the way she treated me pulling my hair till it hurt my scalp! and the way she spoke to me was less than knd as well. read more
