Guess everyone has different experiences. For me, it was a good experience. I was seen at my appointment time and the place was really clean. It is actually on the 2nd floor and I think it encompasses the 2nd and 3rd floor. From the outside, it looks like nothing, however, once you are inside, it truly is different. You do not hear much traffic too. I got a Groupon for a Swedish massage and it was very relaxing. My therapist was professional and asked me beforehand what kind of pressure I would like (I chose medium). From the reviews, I knew I had to pay extra for tips and services which is reasonable especially since it is a back-backing service provided. Definitely want to try out deep tissue next. read more

We went in for a couples massage and was guided to a room where we where supposed to undergrads and lay. The masseuse came in and started working on me. I did not know until they spoke that it was a man. I was not asked this before and felt slightly uncomfortable. The massage was so intense I asked multiple times if he can lighten the pressure but he did not. I was in pain for 3 days after massage. I love hard massages but this was something else. Came here for a couples massage with my best friend. The overall experience was okay, however there were some key factors that really ruined the "spa experience" for me. First off, they didn't care to introduce us to our masseuses​. A lady walked into the room, and set us up. When the actual masseuses walked in, they dimmed the lights and began the massages right away, not questioning whether or not there were any medical concerns or problem areas to be mindful of. Second, although not a deal breaker, they do not use scented oils at this spa. For me at least, scents are great for relaxation. Lastly, after paying for the service, the receptionist demanded that we pay our masseuses at least 10 dollars each in gratuity. This is the most ridiculous excuse for customer service, and it was very inappropriate. I will not be returning. read more

WOW! Thankful to have found this gem nearby. Went in on a frigid Saturday evening and treated myself to a much-needed massage after having worked construction for 5 weeks. The space is beautiful and clean, and the staff were super friendly. My masseuse, Connie, gave me one of the best massages I've ever had...it was a mix of shiatsu, acupressure, and....hot stones! Against: I looked at my watch before my 90 minute massage, and when the timer sounded and I got dressed, it was more like 70 minutes. When my masseuse was going too deep and hard and I told her it was hurting, she didn't let up. When she returned with hot stones and hot towel (that got cold very fast), she left the door open. Great service, not so great customer service. The primary issue and why I haven't gone back is that there's an expectation that you tip a particular amount without it being stated upfront. I did not have a good experience here, I actually felt very uncomfortable. I arrived as a walk in, it seemed to be busy because they asked if I had an appointment I said no and I was told to sit behind a curtain in a corner area with massage chairs in the dark without any indication of my wait time or availability. After 10 Minutes I go back to the man who seated me and he forgot that he had already spoken to me and I told him I didn't mind waiting but I wasn't going to sit for an hour. He gave me a 15min wait time and I chose to stay standing at the reception so that I wouldn't be forgotten. Eventually a nice girl showed me to my room but when I was finally undressed a male masseuse came in. I don't like to discriminate against having a male masseuse but the massage went south from there. I think it was grossly inappropriate and unprofessional that the reception did not ask me if I preferred a man or woman. I would have asked for a woman. I felt completely uncomfortable and I could not relax at all but I stuck with him because I didn't want to wait another hour as the spa was filling up. During the massage he climbed onto the table to massage me twice without preemptively telling me he would be doing that and if I was okay with it. I will say I should have ended the appointment but I was just in a state of shock and completely frustrated and thought everything was in my head. I also asked at the beginning after introducing myself and asking for his name to focus on my legs and feet because that's what I went there for. He spent maybe 10/60 mins on my legs and just smacked my feet and I just genuinely felt violated when I was suppose to go there to decompress. I guess you get what you pay for in a cheap ($43) massage. I will never be going back there again. Update I'm so fucking angry that this place could be so ignorant and unprofessional I want my fucking money back how fucking dare you. This is my second massage I've ever had so I'm basically comparing it to my first massage from Massage Envy: Everyone was nice and polite, no complaints there. The place appeared clean and well kept. Bought a coupon on living social for $66 for a couples massage but our mistake is that you can't buy and use it same day. (Missed that in fine print). So we eventually paid full price for a couples massage which came to $98. Good deal. The coupon claims it's $135 original price. My main complaint is the massage table. The hole for my face and my wife's face was too small and I'm surprised I didn't see that in the reviews. I was basically holding up my entire head with my jaw which had my jaw sore. It definitely took away from how pleasant the massage could have been. The masseuse was nice and communicated with us during. They didn't ask what kind of massage we wanted or where on our body we'd like to focus on though. It also didn't appear like they were particularly skilled in massage therapy however as some of the massages were a bit painful, at one point she had her elbow pretty much directly on my spine which was plain painful. Most of the massage was generally pleasant despite that and I think the fact that the face hole was uncomfortable took so much away from it, hence the rating. I went here on a Thursday night based on the reviews for a couples massage. It was pretty much empty so we were seen right away. I was sadly very disappointed with the massage. There was no level of expertise when the massage was being done. Half way through the massage I realized it was a male which I was not fully comfortable with. The worst part of it all was that one day after the massage my boyfriends back was bruised and red and very painful. I know a good massage may leave you a bit sore but bruises are not okay ! I purchased a Groupon from this place mainly because it was near me and convenient and I wanted a quick couples massage for my boyfriend and I. Upon entering the receptionist was extremely rude and disengaging. We were then escorted straight into our room where we received the massage. No place to undress, lock up our belonging and get a robe. We were never given robes. Our massage therapists were not the friendliest either, actually my boyfriends masseuse was very nice, while the man who serviced me was not. He was harsh on my back and never asked how I was, unlike the young lady checked in on my boyfriend. I will say the man did get all my kinks out but his bed side manner was terrible. The worst part was at the end when we left the lady said "You didn't tip "..I said " Well you took "$10.00 tax" from me when we walked in and now you're demanding a tip?" All I had was $9.00 in cash when I left so I gave that to the young lady and then she said "That is not enough you had 2 massages"..I said excuse me? You cannot tell me what to tip...especially when I wasn't impressed by my massage therapist. My boyfriend and I felt bad and went back to give my massage therapist the tip and the lady took the money did not say thank you and rolled her eyes. Long story short THEY ARE VERY RUDE!!! Do not go here. We understand that tipping is etiquette but why should you tip when service and customer service is lackluster and you do not cater to the patrons. This place has the worst customer service. My husband and I went in for couples massages, thankfully he enjoyed his massage but I had the WORST masseuse. She was made to massage 220pound football player. At one point May put so much pressure on me that I actually jerked off the table because it hurt so much. She then asked me if it was "too hard" 3 times and each time I responded yes, with her keeping the same level of pressure. I went in with pain and left with more pain. I told my husband how bad it was and he tipped May less than his masseuse and she the nerveeee to chase us down the stairs to ask for more tip. I left feeling tense and in pain, it wasn't until I got home and changed out of my clothes that I had to move my neck around that I felt the severity of the pain. My husband was determined to go back and ask for refund since I was crying in pain as I moved my neck around. We got there and spoke to the manager. After my husband explained the situation the manager responded "if she got pain after her massage then take her to the doctor" INSANE RESPONSE !!! He would only give us a $25 refund. The price is right and the service is pretty good. Its not a luxurious treatment that you would get in a high end spa, but the massage itself was very effective. The room was very clean and relaxing. My appointment was for 10:15 and the staff didn't show up until 10:08. My facial started at 10:30, after them originally putting my in a room for a massage and then asking me why I didn't tell them it was a facial when I showed them what the groupon was for. I had to leave the room with the towel on to remind them that I was there. The woman who gave me my facial did not ask a single question about my skin (oily, sensitive, etc..) and just began loading up my face with product. I've gotten many facials in my lifetime and extractions were NEVER as painful as they were here. When I asked what tool she was using because it hurt, she just laughed and said "it's okay." It's now 4 days later and my skin looks terrible and it still hurts. I would rate this place 0 stars if I could it was an absolutely horrible experience. read more

The best massage I've ever had. My boyfriend and I made a same day appointment for a couples massage. Upon our arrival were greeted politely and promptly escorted to our couples room which was upstairs. The decor was simple and clean. Our massage therapists names were Wendy and Ipo. The massage was very thorough shoulders, back, arms, legs, head. Over the towel, under the towel with oil, ending with hot stones and flipping over for head massage a mini forehead and neck massage. She knew exactly what my body needed. She was graceful yet strong when she needed to be. She put me at ease without speaking. I told her I would be there by 12:30pm (to which I was late and arrived a few minutes late {12:39}and the room was not ready) and she made us wait until 1:20 to be seen.....I paid for a couples Groupon. And I added a facial for the both of us. The massage was horrible. The first half of the massage was with a towel?? Then for the rest of the massage i was being painfully "massaged" by the girls elbows. I checked the time from when the "massage" started and ended..they didn't do the full 60 minutes (in which I did not mind since it was so brutally painful..I did not complain about it since I just wanted it to be over) The facial was garbage. My friend's blackheads weren't even extracted. And at the end I gave a tip and my friend gave her tip and they complained about her tip. And wouldn't let us leave until they made their point on how much she should tip. I will not be returning. Waste of money. I will have to get a different massage to recover from this one. Me and my friend walk in the spa and I just ask questions about the price and massages so she said okay puts us in a room, curtain closed with no lights on with other people. And we're sitting wondering why nobody has helped us. 2 guys come in they get get treated kindly and go straight to the massages. Went for a couples massage, didnt know what to expect. First entering very nice surroundings and cozy atmosphere. Once in the room I had a male masseuse that smelled like cigarettes that kept chatting in their language with the female masseuse my spouse had, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Also while laying on my stomache the masseuse drapes a towel over my head then cuffs under i guess so i wouldnt easily lift my head up. They turn on the lights to massage then turn off when its time to turn over. Never had that experience anywhere else it always remained dimmed. I've tried many spas in Manhattan and throughout queens including Flushing and every time I'm left feeling like something was lacking. WOMEN, DO NOT GO HERE. I have been to Spa Heaven many times before and have always found the staff to be professional and courteous. Tonight, however, the masseur left the door to the room wide open - something I didn't notice until nearly the end of the massage when she left to get towels and I realized she didn't have to open the door. Several English-speaking men walked passed the room while she had me completely exposed, face-down on the table. Normally they drape the towel over your very discreetly, but tonight she left me nearly naked and, as I would find out, visible to anyone who walked by (I was in the room right by the stairs to the second story, so you have to look directly into it if you come down those stairs). I confronted the manager afterwards who couldn't get his story straight and gave me many varying and conflicting "explanations" for why this would have happened. I asked if there were cameras in the rooms and he became even more nervous. Please find another spot. read more
