If I could give zero stars I would. I booked a "stylist" at this salon after my trusted hair guru retired. Unfortunately the recently promoted "stylist" either didn't know what they were doing as a colorist or were just lazy. The lighting in the facility is so poor I could not see the issue in the salon. My foils were not weaved in and instead done in large straight sections. The bleach was not even close the root and now I have intense STRIPES where the color meets my natural shade. Some sections have a half and inch of untouched hair before the color application. I will NEVER return to this salon. Unfortunately I have an event this weekend and have to suffer through with this embarrassment of a color job. STAY AWAY if you value your hair. read more

We got the seasonal pedi. Arrive early so UCan relax in relaxation room... we weren't told this ahead of time. We arrived and an adult beverage was waiting for us. We were promptly greeted by our providers. Ashley and Brianna did an amazing job at pampering us!!!! We will def be back! read more

I just got my nails done for the first time here. I got a gel manicure. It was great! Everyone is super nice and professional. I had Kerri has my nail tech today and I loved her! She was so friendly and helpful. She really cared about my wants and she had such passion for her work. My nails came out beautiful and my hands so soft! I recommend coming here. Well so I got a modified Brazilian wax, my esthetician was Alice she was so friendly, knowledgable and relaxing. The first time I got a similar wax at another salon in my hometown of Nashua, it was a terrible experience. Very painful, and damaging to my sensitive skin. My experience at Serenity Spa and Salon was quite different; it was not nearly as painful due to the level of experience and care that was put into the session. Thank you Alice! I see Mel for manicures, pedicures and waxing -- she is the best, so meticulous with the mani/pedis and so gentle with the waxing. I see Kelly for massage, she is the very best massage therapist I have seen, responsive and she takes the time to get to know you and what works best or you. She's super sweet and professional, and knows what she's taking about. Dakota has also done my eyebrows and is very quick and dedicated to making sure you look beautiful when you leave! I had not had a good cut at a different salon so of course I had let it grow for about 5 months before I tried this salon. I got an appointment for a few days later. Kim did my hair. Amazing cut. My poor eyebrows. Hashi's has left me with very little but what was there was unruly. Holly worked magic. I normally wait until I am desperate for a cut and my eyebrows are always an after thought. I attempted to dye my own hair and it was awful. I called to make an appointment and explained to the receptionist what I needed done. She told me it was called color correction and to come that day. I rearranged my schedule to get there and was 5 minutes late at most due to construction taking place right in front of the salon. When I got there, the stylist took me to her station and looked at my hair. She told me I would need color correction and that she didn't have the time to do it, and pointed out that I was late. I was confused why I was there for an appointment for color correction if the stylist didn't have time to do it, which I expressed to her. She went to look at the books to see if anyone else could see me, and came back saying no. Then she asked if I wanted to come back the next day instead. I told her no thanks, I think I will find another salon. read more

Serenity has been my 'go to' place near home for several years. Overall, the salon is friendly, efficient, clean and the pricing is reasonable. What more can you ask for? Amy gives the best massage I've ever had. She takes the time to speak with you first to find out trouble spots, any medical conditions and what you're looking for. She's not a talker during the treatment so I can completely zone out. If you prefer to chat during a massage, pick Deb, who is much more chatty - just not what I personally prefer, but it was still a good massage. I give serenity a 2 because I've undeniably had good experiences here. As far as nails and waxing, I've left very happy. However, my last experience was so bad I decided to cease any future services here across the board. Simply put, my virgin brown hair was colored by Kate, and after two sessions with her my hair came out green. Mahogany red at the crown and green blue ends when the outcome was supposed to be light ash neutral brown. I was beside myself. Not only did no one in the salon acknowledge what had happened, she told me to go home and wash my hair and sent me on my way, already occupied with her next client. I was humiliated. In her words, she didn't know why this happened and that "some parts" were pretty. I called her to seek advice and she brushed it off with, "just go darker now." I got my money back and will never allow a stylist to act so carelessly on my hair. read more

I went here for the first for waxing. I had appointment for arms, full legs and underarm waxing.The ambiance was good. after I was greeted by another person who was going to perform my waxing. She started using hot wax on me without even asking if I had ever used hot wax before or do I prefer cold wax. She started putting small patches for hot wax and started stripping it off along with my skin. I told her to switch to cold wax to wax my arms. It took her approximately 1 hour to wax both of my arms. Multiple places my skin was red with skin peeled off with burning sensation. I asked here how long have you been doing this and she said I am with this company for 17 years. I started working here as a nail anesthetist. No wonder why she did not have the experience. I have been waxing my arms from last 20 years and this wasn't the first. after this experience I told the lady to stop and discontinue my service. She was like next time please ask for another lady who can do this quicker. I mentioned my experience to the front receptionist and she was as ignorant as the lady who performed my waxing. Instead of refunding or apologizing to what happened to me she charged full amount of the service. It was waste of my time and money. Quality of service is POOR and I will never recommend anyone going there. Please DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! read more
