If money was not an issue, then I would be getting treatments weekly as I left feeling soo good all over. I booked a 4 1/2-hour Spa Day for my daughter in law Crystal and myself August 18, 2022. When booking I explained that Crystal had never experienced a spa format before, and it was my treat. I wanted to her have a great experience. Before we went, I explained to her what to expect so it wouldn't be a surprise to her. Well, it was a surprise to me! When we got their paperwork no problem, then when they started to take us, we started talking about Mani/Pedi on me. They were concerned that I had Gel on... which became a bit of what if's (including Crystal may have it also). It flashed in my mind that they were taking her in a different direction, and I started to say something. But it became a detailed chat about that I had fill but they don't do fill. I thought maybe I should just leave. But Manager and employee saying everything will be good. When you book a Spa Day for two, I'm used to being together to do Mani/Pedi then off in different directions for facial and massage. Now to my Mani/Pedi (there was a timetable to get me done) I had on glitter gel on, so the electric nail sander wasn't coarse enough, so she used emery board (also on my feet). Back to timetable, so the soak of hands and feet may have been 5 minutes each that the most. The cleaning of the feet was a couple of swipes on my heals. For the scheduled time was for regular polish not gel so needed to cut corners as far as I'm concerned. For the employee needed to get me done because she would be doing Crystal's nails also. So Crystal was getting her facial and massage (so we would swap places). It's truly not the employee's fault but when you pay $554.00 (for 2) along with 100.00 Cash tip for 3 employees' I expect more from management. And I tip well for the employee's deserved it! I waited a few days before I did this review to see if I felt any different and I don't. Totally unhappy Spa Day! Today was my first ever deep tissue massage and I loved it. I carry my stress on my upper back and neck- or so I thought! Today, my massage therapist pointed out that I had a lot of tension in my lower back that was causing the muscles in my upper back and neck to feel strained! I had no idea! But not only did he give me such a wonderful massage, he also gave me some tips of how to relieve stress for when I'm at home and am feeling some tension on my back. I will definitely be back! I've been coming here for a few months for facials and massages. Ike and Heather do a great job. Today I booked a spa day for my mother and I. It was a facial, massage and pedicures. It was scheduled to last 2.75 hours. Each person that service did a great job, absolutely no complaints about that. My complaint is that we were there 5 hours. Scheduling was a huge issue, I'm not sure I would book a spa day there again. The spa did comp a manicure that I had added in at the last minute but come on, five hours!!! read more

Worst massage experience I have ever had. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. In my previous city I got deep tissue massage for years to treat very tense shoulder and neck muscles that create excruciating tension headaches. A couple of one hour treatments has always done the trick and allowed me to go back to work/school. I spoke with the receptionist at Spa Solai about this and she assured me that the therapist she put me with would be able to work with my muscle pain. I paid for an 80 minute treatment and for the first time ever left in just as much pain as I had upon arrival. Not only was this NOT a deep tissue massage, but the massage therapist spent a considerable amount of time playing with hot towels and not even performing a massage. If I had wanted a timid back rub I would have asked my roommate and saved myself what, for a graduate student, was a month's worth of grocery money. read more

I just got a massage from Abel and it was the best massage I've had. He understood exactly what I needed, asking how the pressure was, how I was doing, etc. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. The pressure was perfect, and I really enjoyed the use of hot towels on my back and feet. I did a walk-in appointment for a gel manicure today, and overall was pleased with my service. I was able to get in right away which is sometimes hard to do as a last minute walk-in. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this spa as a whole, and appreciated that they treat you more as a guest than a customer. My only criticism is the price point. If it was not for a $30 gift certificate I had been gifted I would have been very disappointed to pay the full retail price. With that being said, they do offer a student discount! Would definitely recommend to someone looking for the spa experience. read more

I've had the best massage in Tucson here-- it took me some time to find a good place to go to get a massage and tried this place based on the other reviews. And they are right-- this place is great. From the moment I walked in everyone there was nice, polite, and helpful. The massage therapist was good and listened to my requests, adjusting the massage as needed. The rooms are small and cozy, but my favorite part is that they are dimly lit, which really adds to the level of comfort and gives more privacy. If you are looking for a good massage, this place is great! BTW-- they've changed their name to Spa Solai now. read more

Jana is amazing for Brazilian wax! She uses hard wax and it is so much quicker and efficient than soft wax. She is so nice and friendly and always warned me when she was going to pull or tried to talk to me about anything to take my mind off of it. Omg! Yay! Found my fave spot! Spa was so clean and beautiful but the staff was also very friendly. Being in the hospitality industry myself, i really appreciate good customer service. Tessa did my manicure and my sad little cuticles have never looked better :) she did great work on my hands and shellac polish came out great. I had a wonderful deeply therapeutic massage with Ashley and the best facial ever from Misha. Misha is perhaps the most gentle person ever to deliver a facial but the overall result was fantastic. He was compassionate and enthusiastic. I left here feeling as if I had back to back massages! Ashley is very intuitive about pressure and areas of sensitivity. I cannot believe I made it home without getting pulled over for DIM (driving under the influence of a massage)...because I was ABSOLUTELY still under the magnificent influence of Dulce, the appropriately named (transl: sweet, candy) massage therapist who ANSWERED MY PRAYERS about my lower back. The massage was fully bilateral (both sides of the body were treated the same...thank goodness), thorough, and actually stopped the pain I'd had in my back. I asked for a massage appropriate for people who sit a lot, and she delivered...something a certain massage place (M.E.) could not do in 1 year of my membership (which is now cancelled and transferred to Spa Solai/Rubs). Dulce has many reviews online that are outstanding, and I guess this is just one more excellent review, but honestly, I have had massages in and out of the US for 18 years, and she was the best, best, best. I received a light to moderate pressure 60 minute massage and it felt like 30 minutes because it was so nice. This company defines going the extra mile to ensure great customer service. Here's why: I was trying to reach one of Spa Solei's locations to make an appointment and every time I call the number I received an automated response that the phone number was no longer in service. Surprised by that, I went on the Internet to see if, in fact Spa Solei had close business, but could not find anything to confirm this. Knowing that Rubs Massage was a sister company, I reached out to their Wilmont location and inquired as to the status of Spa Solei. To my delight, the person who answered the phone at Rub's verified that Spa Solei indeed was still very much in business. Perplexed, I decided to try calling again the next day to make my appointment. Much to my delight, less than 4 minutes, later I received a call from Spa Solei inquiring about my attempt to reach them and asking how they might serve me. Now that's customer service! I wish I could find resourceful and engaged employees like that who care about solving problems. My only regret is that I didn't write down the names of those who helped me.
