Gel polish on my cuticles and toenail not polished completely.

I chose this nailshop to experience the volcano pedicure $100.00. I'm from California and was in Arizona for my mother's surgery. Since the surgery was gonna be 6 hrs I decided to go relax and try to keep my mind off of the surgery. I was tired and exhausted. I arrived after driving 20 miles and was greeted by Vince who was not friendly at all! The nail tech that handles my services was Toni. For my colors I chose a manicure and design set from their website, but wanted the colors on my toes. Once Toni finished it it looked nothing like what was on the site. I asked are you going to do the design and he replied "you want that?" ummmm yes. I was so disappointed in the whole look that I just didn't care anymore. If you have a design on your website then you should be able to deliver if a customer wants it. I will never ever come to this nail shop again. I wasted $100.00 on rudeness and no talent. I also want to add that Toni was also very heavy handed. He would snatch my foot and aggressively put it under the UV Led lamp. Just an overall terrible experience. As soon as I touch down in California I'm immediately taking this polish off.

Dirty tools that they took out dirty, used on me and then put right back without cleaning them. It was disgusting!

Do not go here. This was the dirtiest salon I've ever seen, had horrible treatment, and significantly overcharged. Their groupon for a volcano pedicure, says the original price is $130 and that they were offering a 30% off coupon on groupon for it only be $91. However, the sign on their wall says that volcano pedicure only costs $65. I didn't notice this until after, when we were checking out. When I asked the manager, he said that they don't set their prices on Groupon, that Groupon chooses the prices for them, which is not how Groupon works. He then told me if I had wanted the normal price, I should have booked it directly through them and not through the "discount" on Groupon and that their prices on groupon are consistently changing and won't align with the actual price of the service. The pedicure itself was horrendous. I took my mother for mother's day. Her chair was duct taped together and my chair was rocking. If I leaned back, the chair wanted to flip backward. They then had issues with the tub of water that I was using, and were consistently going from touching other people's feet to dipping their hands into my water to try to fix it while I waited my turn, because the jet wasn't working right. Then going from having their hands in the water that my feet were in, back to touching other customers' feet without rinsing their hands off or washing them. At one point, the guy working on my mother next to me, who was using gloves, then came over and started touching my feet with product on his gloves that he had just been rubbing directly on her feet. Then after touching her feet with the product, touching my feet, he went right back to her feet. During the pedicure, when she did the callous remover on the bottom, I flinched a couple times because I'm ticklish, and she very angrily scolded me to not move. In addition to how dirty the place was and all of the broken equipment, they were pulling out tools like a massage gun, their clippers, and a callous grater that were dirty. She was using her hands to wipe off chunks of wax, lotion, and callus from other people before using it on me. With the cuticle trimmers, the nail clippers and the tools she used to push the cuticles back, she was very rough and aggressive, and it hurt. She then put them right back into the tool kit without cleaning them. The hot towels they used were shredded and noticeably dirty, not only did it leave stuff on my legs and feet when she got done, wiping them, but one of my legs and feet broke out in hives after she used it. And the whole time the person in the chair next to me was talking to the person she came with, and my girl could not control her facial expressions and kept turning and giving the girl next to me a nasty glare, and then talking to the nail tech next to her in a different language. They would both then turn and stare at the girl telling the story with dirty looks, very obviously talking shit. On top of how unhygienic, unprofessional, and what a rip-off It was, they had an egg roll station sitting up front with food sitting out at unsafe temperatures, waiting to go in the warmer, and then a warmer of egg rolls that had been sitting there for at least the hour that we were there untouched. This place was absolutely horrible. I don't understand how they're still in business.

Went in for a gel pedicure and dipping powder set. Gel pedicure was fine. The tech asked what i had on my nails and i said it was dipping powder. She asked multiple times which gave me the impression she wasn't familiar. I decided to ask for a manicure instead and it's the worst manicure I've ever seen. Didn't file my nails, left residue, no shape on my nails and i still have powder from previous session. Terrible work! $100 down the drain.

Customer service and English language and communication skills. Discrimination -they don't know English and the it is your fault for trying and even asking for help form other workers and manger who also is very rude and arrogant. Unhonest scamers who swipe the Geoupon they offer for you to buy without giving you the service you paid for, not even starting. Being nasty with people pushing them to choose color every 2 minutes asking once you seat in the chair without letting you relax or decide what you want! and nether understanding when their numbers don't match with their colors they insist on rushing you and then making you look like a full bc you point on the color but they bring you the other it seems like the number you said - who knows which color is which number toot number or bottom number lol - I am picking colors pointing to it and I am paying and when I go to the SPA LIKE THEY CLAIME TO BE I WOULD LIKE TO RELAX NOT BEING BULLIED BY SOMEONE WHO CANNOT PERFORM THEIR JOB BECAUSE THEY DONT UNDERSTAND THEIR CLIENT RHEY DINT SPEAK ENGLISH MOR OTJER LANGUAGE I CAN Understand TAKE MY MONEY AND TELL ME THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SERVE ME BC I AM TAKING TOO LONG TO CHOOSE THE COLOR . Scan my vouchers prior and send me home on my last day before vacation without any mani pedi with my money spent on their Grouoon being rude for no reason as I am returning customer of at least 3 times and who always tries to be flexible with them as they do cheat with Geouon - be careful - if you bUY their Geouon do not show manager before hand - bc he would swipe it before you get service and then if you don't like it or they don't do it at all like in my case then it is on you- get American Express credit card to pay for those Geouons - so it can be disputed bc they stand by you 100% compare to Geouon and their vendors - and MY BIGEST SUGESTION - just buy Geouon after you call for appointment- right when they finish - so if you don't open something you can complain and also trade your Groupon - DO NOT SHOW GROUPON TO RHEM BEFRORe - it is their trick to swipe it before you get your nails done --ALSO- IF YOU WANT MASSAGE EXTRA TIKE - DONT pay for it here - they use Massge gun and it is not pleasant they cheer here also. DO NOT buy botanical pedicure - bc you know what they do: they put 2 little small bases of fake flowers next to you smelling like their establishment - making you feel like you in botanical garden - NOT! Gosh you think these people care - no- these salon DOESNT Care- they don't appreciate when you as the returning customer leave them a little better tip for them to recognize you and be balky to see you again- NAHhhh - their faces are dull - (not all there are very sweet couple of techs I was not able to have service with but always got this materialistic mean lady who did NOT speak English didn't not smile and didn't not understand at all my needs . Sad place - they also cheered on Geouon prices - make sure they give you what you pay for . I missed on tech she was on vacation today - maybe she was main one bc when she was there - she at least tried compre to manger and the red hair one . I had $15 on the vouchers they gave me for discount and when I showed them today they refused all the services for me just because I was not getting the color I wanted from the number book lay out they had and I dis not want their choose of color - I wanted to see 2 shades next to each other but they refused to show me . I don't understand- maybe they don't need customers anymore or maybe they don't want GROUPON Customers ANYMORE - but I don't see people coming to this location just because - it is not a pretty place either . Not sure but feeling like USA going down hill with people nearing able to work here without knowing English, take your money, cheer you out , be rude to you in front of other clients , and discriminate you per their manager saying - i was taking long time choosing - while both of them look at me puzzeled when I ask them please can I see those two colors side by side - aahhhhh go back to your country and before you start work here again learn English And make sure to get your working permit !NEVER AGAIN

I've been coming to this shop for awhile now and up until recently never had an issue. The last two times, literally the day after, I have had to return to the shop for the owner to fix my nails. I am not sure if it is the nail tech who has been working on my nails (as she is the common denominator in all of this) the dry equipment or or poor quality polish being used on my nails. While I appreciate the owner fixing my nails and the staff is always nice, I spend too much money on my nails to be inconvenienced and have to drive out of my way 17 mins one way to have my nails fixed literally one day after getting them done. I will not be returning and will have to find another nail salon.

My dipped nails looked like teeth, my cuticles were not done and I lost 3 nails in 48 hours. Thank goodness they offer a warranty! :) Kim totally saved the day! She removed the dip (I wish I could upload the video) clipped my cuticles and brought my hands to life! looking and feeling clean. I would have appreciated an apology and not treated like I was just am complaining customer. The service provided on Saturday was horrible!! I do realized one bad experience does not mean a bad place of service so I will return but I will only book with Tony and Kim.

Customer service was a 1. Merchant cancelled appointment on my end and wouldn't honor the price due to their error. Ended up being seen by another nail salon.

This "spa" uses dirty equipment and dirty towels. They used boiling hot wax and burned me on the tops of my feet. Not only was the equipment dirty, the pedicurist applied lotion to my legs, then without washing or changing gloves, worked on another customer's legs, then back to mine. He was in such a rush, that he jabbed me several times with the metal tools. The pedicurist next to me had a massager that was caked with lotion and who knows what, and barely wiped it with a towel before using it on my daughter. They are also selling egg rolls to go, but I do not think they have a license for that, and are NOT using safe food prep procedures. When we arrived, they had a display of egg rolls in a warmer and more on the table, not refrigerated. They did not make more and throw any away while we were there, so they had to be old and unsafe. My chair was duct taped and my daughter's was so loose, if she leaned back, the chair seemed like it was going to fall over. The polish was thick and clumpy and he kept adding acetone to it, but it still went on CLUMPY. Please see attached photos of where they burned me and the bad polish.

I went to this nail salon after being with the same nail tech for a couple of years. My nail tech has become in a very big hurry and was cutting my often with the drill. This place was VERY refreshing!! A nice calm environment with calming music playing and lots of other patrons relaxing while receiving services. The techs were honest with me. I came in for a full but left with a full set because my previous set was lifting and causing a problem with my natural nails. The techs here are kind, careful and listen to what you would like. They all seem very well educated in their business, and the place is spotless and clean. I absolutely will be back in 2 weeks for my fill! Thank you to the staff for being awesome and ahhhhmazing!!

Absolutely horrible service. Horrible employees. Had my mom wait more then 30 minutes when we had an appointment at 5. The lady rushed my nails and didnt even do the color i wanted at first for whatever reason. The owner texted my mom and said he would fix them for free. I go in today, and im told that if i want the color change hes going to have to charge me. When i got home friday night i had to file them and make them the shape i wanted. They were lumpy and theyre as thin as can be. No apex. The employee that i had asked if i was mad when my mother wasnt helped at the time of our appointment and laughed. Beyond rude and ended up cutting me when finishing my set. She kept talking over me when i came in today when i was trying to explain what happened. Im beyond pissed off with how this business hires the people that work for them. Absolutely disgusting service. Dont even bother going. read more

I was looking for a new place to get my nails done and my friend had suggested I come to this salon because on Spa- Tastic Instagram page shows they do a lot of different kind of designs and I was looking for something like that. I have short nails and I usually get dip. I wanted a simple heart design but the guy who did my nails suggested to do stickers instead... My nails are very un even when he started filling the dip. The top coat is already coming off and I am a hairstylist so when I do peoples hair the hair gets caught underneath my nail because it's already lifting. This has never happened to me with 3 years of getting my nails done... Anyways... Salon definitely dirty, the lady wanted me to sit on a chair that had trimmed nails on it... just not clean at all... As seen in this picture it looks like my nails are 2 weeks old when I just got them done 4 days ago... Not happy read more

The Ladie that did my nails did a good job was nice and also the gentlemen greeting/helping in front so that's the only reason I am leaving two stars. But another male did my toes horribly. I've never had a Pedicure so poorly done. Mind you there are 3 nail salons less than 5 minutes from my home but I drove 15 minutes to try them out since they had wonderful reviews. Once I noticed and told them about the poor polish job on my toes they did say the would fix but being that it was a gel pedi it was definitely going to be a process so the guy starts to take off polish with drill/nail tool and uses the tool on my skin which burned and made me jump so that's when I had it and asked if somewhere else could do/finish because I did not feel comfortable having him do anything on me anymore. Yes the woman fixed everything but I definitely won't be returning. read more

I would move to Phoenix for this nail salon alone. Not only did they get me and my friend in right as we landed at the airport but they were so accommodating with everything: water, comfort level, conversation, etc. Much to my surprise they must have heard me talking about my birthday and sent me home with a bottle of their cuticle oil as a gift! It was so sweet and we loved our pedicures. The salon is clean and super affordable ($20 for a spa pedicure). This will be on the list every time I visit! read more

Very friendly technicians who don't talk your ears off, the hair stylist cut my hair exactly the way I wanted, the ambiance is calming and relaxing. I won't be back. The nail salon I normally use was closed so I thought I'd give this place a try since it's close to my house. With that being said, I gave it 4 stars because it's clean, new, and the staff is all nice, but the reason I won't be back is because my nails were cut extremely short when I specifically said I didn't want them short and once they cut one nail she said they all have to be even. So now I have super short nails for at least 2 weeks as my nails don't grow fast. The other reason is time, I felt like I sat in the chair forever to get a simple gel color done. I didn't want a manicure, I just wanted to get my nails painted. Usually my salon I go to does it in 15 min and I'm out the door. This took 45 min or so to just paint my nails. Lastly price, I paid a lot more for a simple color. No manicure, no special design nothing. Just color and spent what I'd normally pay for a manicure or design included. Again this place is great when it comes to cleanliness,friendly staff and being new. read more

First time here received a manicure, pedicure and facial. The manicure was fine exactly how I like (and done quick and efficiently...added plus!) my pedicure was so-so, I requested the $35. Pedicure,with the hopes of having an amazing extended massage, but that was not the case. The nail tech clearly does not like their job and did a subpar job with the massage. One highlight was the amazing Jennifer who did my facial and is the reason why I gave the salon s 4 star rating. I'll definitely be back but only if Jennifer provides the services. read more

In response to the owner's review, I came in every 2-3 weeks. Not weekly. That's insane and expensive for gel to go weekly. When the soaking method with the cotton and plastic clips didn't soak off the polish, the rotary tool was used to grind it off the rest of the way. Yes, it was used on bare nail. That occurred every time I came. It wasn't just me. The same technique was used on my friend. She stopped coming before I did because her nails also became paper thin. I hope you have received education on how to properly soak off gel polish and are no longer doing this to your clients. read more

Absolute bullshit. There are so many cuts all over my feet and fingers. The callus remover literally rubbed my heel raw. My toes burn from how many cuts they left me with. My fingers look like chunky teeth. Do not go here! read more

Went here looking for a good experience and it was everything but that. The lady with the tattoo on her breast was very rude and short with me. She kept pushing to get gel (which I politely declined) and she kept badgering me and told me how brittle and ugly they were. She tried to rush me and it seemed like she had no care for me. There is no way I will be going back and I've already told all of my friends to avoid it. I'm easy going and normally don't care if the service isn't the best but it seemed as though she was trying to make my experience miserable read more

I have never written a yelp review in my life, especially a negative one but this nail salon is by far the worst I've ever been to. The person who did my toes was extremely rough, I almost had to ask to be more gentle ( which is crazy because I am not one to speak The hot stones were not hot the towel was cold. My friend asked for a glitter and the lady basically threw a fit about it and gave her an attitude. I also got a dip manicure and within 2 days 3 fingers had chipped. I had an awesome experience getting a gel fill on my nails today. I didn't catch the names of the man and woman helping me, but they were very friendly and helpful. I wanted to do one accent nail with chrome, and they were very persistent in making sure they did it on the right nail and got the right color. It didn't break the bank for a fill and chrome accent nail. They did an amazing job and I will be coming back. read more

I love love loooove the way Jennifer did my nails. I showed her a picture and she got them almost exactly the same. She was nice and it didn't take too long. The jewels I got costed extra, so that's probably the only downfall. I know those jewels don't cost much to buy but the added 5 dollars to the price. But it was definitely worth it and I will be coming back for a fill! read more

Honestly I love this place. Went once so far for an appointment before a friends wedding and they had me looking fly and out the door for an affordable amount. My gel manicure has still lasted flawlessly and it's been over 2 weeks now. I did have some complicated wishes for my hair but the stylist did everything she could to ensure I got a look I loved. I would definitely come back for an updo and I will be coming back every 2 weeks for mani/pedi. read more

Tried this salon because it's now closer to where I live and my regular place was full. I don't recommend it. This place was quiet and not busy. I arrived on time for my appointment and checked in. They started my appointment 30 minutes late; even then, I still had to bring it to their attention that I need to be seen. It also took an additional hour and a half for my pedicure. My toe nail trim/file and paint job also look subpar. Not at all impressed. OH! And their pedicure chairs are the MOST uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in. My back is still hurting from sitting there. I also saw someone check in while I was there saying she had an appointment at X time, which was the time she arrived, and no one helped her for the next 20 minutes. I don't know what happened to her after that since that's when my pedicure ended, but my point is that the tardiness and not helping someone immediately doesn't seem to be a one off. read more

First off, I am a guy. Pedicures are the one thing my exwife taught me that stuck. Average pedi is about $18 with callus removal add $5 more bucks. This place was a tad more expensive $21 and $5. They however also offered facials and I wanted to get one of those, $35 for the mid level one and I got a terrible 10 min mani for $10. I saw Jennifer who was very nice, however other than the callus removal I felt everything was lack luster. The massage and lotion for my feet was very light. all in about 35 mins for my pedi. Rating 5 out of 10. Mani, was a few clips, soak and a 3 min massage. No buffing and my nails look uneven. A friend even said she could not tell I just had a mani. 2 out of 10. Facial, I cancelled about half way into it. The flimsy table was in a back room. I laid down and she slammed some cold crap on my face to start and then put on a hot steamer above my face, if felt as if I was suffocating, no lie. Then washed it off and started extractions that frickin hurt and I have good skin. The table was so uncomfortable she suggested to move to a spa chair. We did and she slapped on a cold mask, 5 mins later I told her I had enough. 1 out of 10. So all in, I am at $73, and kinda bummed, but still tipped her $7 bucks. I wanted to like this place but the overall experience was a 2 out of 10 :(. Now this goes for all nail places, why do mens pedi and mani's cost the same? We don't get nail polish which takes an additional 10-20 mins? read more

55$ is NOT a reasonable price for a simple one color gel nail!! you do not charge an extra 20$ for long nails especially when it's just one simple color and gel . absolutely not reasonable .‍‍‍. and i called and asked before hand how much and i quote " how much will a full set of acrylic gel LONG nails will cost and the guy answered 35$ then i get there and show him the length i want which isn't even that long and he said 55$ . charges me 20$ extra right then and there which i should've stopped and asked why so much?? but instead i gave the guy the chance to prove me they were worth 55$ after they are finished i discovered bumps and streaky polish and a terrible job shaping them and some nails were crooked . bad job and overpriced ! also took like 2 hours to do which dosnmake sense because they didn't even come out good and absolutely not worth the price!! don't come here !! lol you telling me i make no sense is so unprofessional , your prices make no sense . why can't you accept that you over price the nails ? you wasted my hard earned money so i will speak of it to let everyone know to not waste their money here when they can get their nails done for much cheaper and MUCH better .my mother is a nail tech in missouri and ain't no one EVER charge us 20$ for length that just ain't it! bye bye read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place! It IS, after all, one of the top salons in Glendale and the family that owns and runs it is very nice. My experience was not a positive one.. I had an appointment for 45 minutes before closing.. I got let out of work a little early so I ran by. I was hoping to get in sooner but my appointment was pushed back instead. Ok, I live around the block..no worries! Now my appointment is 30 minutes before they close. I was getting my mani pedi because my son was getting married within 6 days! I didn't want to have to worry about it in Savannah! My appointment finally got underway around 4:45.. Keep in mind that closing time is 5:00.. At 6:30 I sent a text off to my Hubby as a courtesy, "He is just now starting my manicure".. Needless to say, he wasn't a very happy camper.. So, what normally takes about 45 to 60 minutes has taken over 2 hours.. The family was waiting to go home for the night also.. I kinda thought that maybe someone would jump in and help him out but no.. So? That is my tale of a wasted night that I'll never get back! Oh! I almost forgot! My nails were filed so SEVERELY on the side that my fingers ached for days. Within 3 days my nails already had to be glued no less than 5 times. I am currently waiting on an appointment to have my nails done and strengthened because 4 of them are currently more glue than nail.. That's MY experience! Do with it what you will! read more

I've never been before, but I received a 20% off flyer from them as I was walking by. I got a regular pedicure ($21) and a gel manicure ($30), in total $51, but I had the coupon so It was only $41. For a $21 pedicure, they treated me like a princess & foot massage felt so good & relaxing. Just what I needed after a long day. For my manicure, I had many many nail polish colors to choose from, I had such a hard time deciding; they all looked so pretty. I finally decided on a dark blue on my feet & hands. The technician was careful & took their time to make sure my nails were perfect & they came out perfectly! Also, the other employees there catered to my every need, such as: providing complimentary water, helping me decide nail polish color, featuring my favorite show HIMYM, relaxing music, & polite customer service. I recommend this place to everyone looking for a friendly, enjoyable, & quality service nail salon. They do hair too, maybe next time haha. They told me it just barely opened 2 months ago. The place looks very simple & very clean. Atmosphere was very nice & relaxing, lots of music modern music & some classic songs, brings back memories hearing "Take A Bow" - Rihanna. I came here to redo my full-set because another place messed up my nails, but they did a very good job. Took their time & really ensured that my nails were perfect. They had netflix with "Friends" playing with music videos on the other tv screen. The pedicure was amazing, for $21 they massaged every bone in my foot for a good 10-15 mins. Many time when I need to relax & enjoy myself after work or on the weekend, I come to Spatastic and then always take good care of me! I've been coming to get pampered for over a year, at least once or twice a month. They always make me feel better, also a lot of colors to choose. They get new colors like every month it seems, up to date with designs too like marble & 3D sun flowers. I get my toes & manicure gel, they take their time to ensure every detail is perfect! I went in to get acrylic nails and the woman I had to do my nails was very rude and snapped at me multiple times throughout the appointment. Overall it was very fast mainly because she was rushing, because of this she was very aggressive and cut me multiple times. When I left my fingers were bleeding and her best solution was to put nail glue on the cut which made it burn from the chemicals. Then when I went to check out they would not honor my $20 gift card nor the discount I received for booking online. There are much better salons and I don't suggest you waste your time with this one. read more

There nails always lasts more than 3 weeks, most places last 1 week 10 days tops and it looks bad. but here it stiil looks great and none are broken after 3 weeks. I've been coming here about 2 years. Everyone is very nice, love their cleanliness and how they always try to engage with the customer. At other places the owners and employees carry on this loud conversation s which sometimes is annoying when you are trying to relax. read more
