Absolutely love Space Bar!!! Shaye, it was nice to meet you. I really enjoyed hearing about the history of space bar tonight. Live long and prosper.

We I finally made it here after trying to go for a while and just letting time get away from us. We made reservations for two and went on a Friday night. When we walked in, the host greeted us right away, asked for our name, and seated us pretty quickly. There were actually a good amount of open seats, so I am not sure reservations were completely necessary, but it was still nice to have one. I honestly expected the inside to feel more extravagant and space themed, almost like an outer space vibe with more visual elements and atmosphere. I was hoping for something more immersive and futuristic. It was still cool overall, just not quite as visually dramatic as I imagined. We ordered an espresso martini and the Kiwi Nova. I really enjoyed my drink, especially after talking with the host who explained that they use scientific processes for their cocktails along with fresh purées and fresh ingredients. That is something I really appreciate because I am not a fan of drinks made with a lot of simple syrup or fake additives. He loved his espresso martini and said it was one of the best he has had. My drink was definitely on the sweeter side and I feel like too much of it might lead to a hangover, but it was still really good. Our server was attentive at first, but later on we ended up waiting a while to order another round. After sitting for a bit, we decided to order through the hostess instead and she got us taken care of right away. Overall, it was a cool experience mainly for the drinks. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. Service was okay, and I am not sure if we will return, but I am glad we finally got to check it out.

Popped in here on a Sunday evening before dinner. It has a cute interior setup. I went with their twist of an espresso martini.. the rum in it made all the difference, along with the other ingredients. Staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

This place was cool, but it was way smaller and more tame than I expected. with how much it's hyped up I was expecting more. The drinks were good and they were cool, but I didn't think the flavor profile for the one I had really matched the super detailed description. I had the rainbow road, and it definitely just gave chocolate no other flavors pulled through. (And Im not an Emile Im a Remy, I taste everything). I really loved that they put a lot of thought into crafting the cocktails, but i felt very let down by the one I got. We also got sat in a really awkward spot of the bar, which made it hard to really enjoy the experience (we got sat at tiny 3 seat near the door) Other than that the service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. I just...if Im in the mood to try something cool and crazy, I want it to be hype, not super chill, low music, tiny space, i would have went on a weekday instead. It's definitely an experience and I would recommend going, just expect more of a relaxed environment and a smaller space

I am not what you would call a bar person. I haven't really been into the bar scene since just after I turned 21, which was over 20 years ago. However, I have been to this spot several times now since discovering them at a recent mocktail event. There I learned that they not only have a whole bunch of fun, space themed cocktails with special effects like dry ice, they have a dedicated nonalcoholic menu as well with a bunch of NA options. I stopped drinking alcohol earlier this year due to a brain injury and the inclusivity of this brings me so much joy. The space is a really cool lounge vibe. Groups of people from across the age spectrum seem to come here. There are lounge tables that can seat several people, high tops that seat two and a bar. The staff, from host to servers to the owner who is hands-on and frequently stop by to chat, are all so incredibly nice and welcoming. I have yet to have a drink that disappointed me. From the NA menu, the Tartooine Sour is the star but you can't go wrong.

Super eclectic place. Loved the vibe and our server was fantastic. The drinks are also out of this world

Service was meh. This was our first time here...and visiting Pittsburgh. The server could have explained more about the different drinks or gave a recommendation. She was more concerned about just starting a tab. Did the decor was very nice and the drinks were good.

As a recently retired Chemistry teacher I highly recommend Space Bar for evening (or midday) libations! We walked into a new world. It wasn't crowded for a Friday after work. Service was great. The staff really understood the science behind their brand and I'm all for that! The saddest part was having to leave for food. Their drinks were delicious & unique. We plan to return with friends! Of course I have pics to support my review.

Five of us got tickets to Space Bar's Valentine's Day cocktail experience! The three drinks are meant to mimic a meal but with cocktails! They were all delicious and I appreciate the advanced cocktail techniques used.

I was looking for a unique bar and I found it! This place was super fun. It was pretty empty but it was a Wednesday so that's to be expected. They had a lot of interesting drinks. I got the 'Kiwi Nova' and my husband got the 'Darth Vapor'. It smoked and it was really cool. He really enjoyed that drink and I really enjoyed mine. They had a decent amount of seating, we sat at a hightop. All the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for a good time.

It wouldn't be winter without a trip to my favorite out of this world bar. This year's seasonal pop-up theme "Snowglobe" changed the bar into a winter wonderland. The bartenders are masterfully skilled in the art of gastronomy. My wife and I tried their two seasonal drinks, the Spiced Pearseus and Nebula Noir. Highly recommend both!!! Nebula provided earthiness with the smooth finish of the Angel's Envy (a terrific bourbon in itself). The Pearseus had a wonderful natural pear flavor with the bright citrus complemented by the sweet orange, black tea and vanilla foam topper. I may miss their amazing New Years celebration, but every time I'm there, Space Bar always transports me in time and space.

Perfect noise level and music, lighting was amazing, decor was so cool! And the drinks were delicious. If we'd known Space Bar was here, we would've come sooner on our visit to Pittsburgh!

4.5 stars. Space Bar is a spaced-themed molecular-mixology bar that serves a rotating selection of alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, beers, wines, ciders, and liquors), non-alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, beers, and sodas), and some foods (e.g., snack mix, chips and salsa, and cheeses). Please see my attached photos for the menu in February 2025. My husband and I visited this bar one time. We had no reservation, but you can make one. The owner met us at the front door, seated us at a comfortable table, and made friendly conversation when she later checked in with us. The space-themed interior design created an "out of this world" atmosphere. We ordered two drinks through our phone, and minutes later our server brought the drinks to us. Later she brought our bill to us for payment. The Skywatcher drink cost $15, and it consisted of Haku vodka, Giffard strawberry, yogurt soju, hibiscus cordial, lime, tea, and strawberry popping boba. It came with one piece of Hi-Chew candy. I enjoyed the fruity flavors. The Starship cost $16, and it contained gin, lime, pomelo, grapefruit, lemon, orange, hibiscus, dandelion root, gentian root, lemongrass, rosemary, cardamon, allspice, clove, and cinchona bark. Its dry ice and a flashing light looked fun. Space Bar's website lists some events such as astronomy, karaoke, costume nights, bingo, trivia, book clubs, comedy, and movies.

I've been to quite a few cigar lounges--and even worked at one--so I have a good sense of what makes a place stand out. Burn by Rocky Patel did just that on every level. The ambiance, décor, cigar selection, and service were all top-tier. It's a classy lounge with a twist of sports bar energy, which made it both elevated and fun. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day, and they had live entertainment--a violinist playing along to hip hop and R&B--which created such a unique vibe. Kayla, the bartender, let us know about the live entertainment the day before, it wasn't posted on their social media or website. She was attentive, sweet, and made excellent drinks. Evan, who was working the cigar side, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and communicated well with customers even during a heavy flow. One thing that really stood out was the crowd--mixed ages, mature, and plenty of ladies confidently partaking in the beautiful art of cigars, which I loved seeing. Even if you don't smoke cigars, the vibes in this place are worth the visit. If and when I return to Pittsburgh, this place is a must. It's also within walking distance to the stadiums, which is a huge plus. Feedback for management: The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the disconnect between locations and social media postings. There was an event listed on the website that wasn't actually happening at this location, while an amazing event that was happening wasn't shared online; which would have been a shame to miss. It may be worth considering in-house social media and website management to ensure updates are accurate and timely to the specific location.

This place seemed inviting, however, the service was non-existent. It was actually kind of busy and the bar was full (not packed). Many of the sections were roped off so there was juts one table open near the front of the store. We sat there with no table service at all. They could have made some money from us but nope. Other than the guy at the front door who was just "find a seat" and not helpful at all, and the guy in the cigar shop, who was one of the few helpful people in assisting with the cigar purchase and cutting of the cigar. He offered to light it, but that's half the fun, so I declined. Apparently, the bartenders have lighters too but I couldn't find a place to sneak in and get the cigar lit and also buy a drink. Luckily, someone in my party had a lighter so I just used that and hung out. A drink would have been nice, but not necessary. After this place, we went to a few more bars in the area where they actually served their customers. What a novel idea, right?

It's cute but crowded with plush seating. I can't imagine being here on a busy night, it must feel like there's no breathing room. Service was fine. Our order was correct and servers were friendly. The best part about this place is the cocktails but don't expect them to be strong. My drink was absolutely delicious but with the mood effects of a mocktail, meaning nothing. I ordered two because why is this almost $20 with no buzz in sight, are we not a lounge? The menu was plentiful though I think the chef may be a little off about the origins of some of the menu items- just be Greek, friend, it'll be okay. I didn't try the pizza, which is almost half of the menu because I wasn't impressed by the small plates. How can you get pickled cauliflower wrong in Pittsburgh. That should be a sin. The hummus was okay but could use a little more ancient influence... like maybe 4,000 years worth, idk. Overall, I wouldn't be back and wouldn't recommend. It's trendy in it's ambience but doesn't deliver anything better than 25 other spots along the same street. AVVA in Aspinwall is a better option. I came here based on reviews by Elite's and this place was incredibly misrepresented.
