Once upon a time this was a great bank with good policies, competitive rates and intelligent staff. Not so any longer. SCCU is now COMPLETE garbage. Card services is filled with morons who have zero idea what is going on or what their own policies are. The electronic banking is abysmal, it updates your purchases whenever it feels like, so if you have become dependent on checking your balance via your online access, prepare to go back to a check register approach. They enjoy nothing more than keeping you from your own money. They call buying gas twice in one day fraud. You can only use your debit card 10 times in a 24 hour period. I pay all my bills on payday, or I would like to. SCCU will not allow it. you get 10 "swipes" then your card is deactivated until the 24 hours are up. Are those 24 during a set time? Are those hours from one purchase to the next? You won't know and neither will card services or the bank. When you get frustrated the bank will tell you it is card services, and card services will tell you its the bank. They also love to shut your card down for "fraud" and not call you. NOTHING thrills me more than having over 2k in my bank account and having a 5$ transaction at Walmart denied. That is super awesome. This bank is garbage, if you bank here, that is exactly what you will get. Garbage. You HAVE been warned. When you are screaming at someone on the phone because they have YET AGAIN screwed you, please think of this review and then come write your own. A bank that truly doesn't care. This has flagently obvious with the insistent charges, their terrible hours of opening and closing and their complete inability to take care of a small business. As soon as Covid-19 is over we're switching. Byeeeeeee! read more
