The crab cake was good, not great to much old bay and filler for my taste but good non the less. The mussels were good, I do prefer the red sauce. The baked potato was perfect. Picked up a Crab Imperial, MahiMahi, and Lobster tails for dinner. The person taking our order was helpful and polite and was willing to answer some of the questions I had about what dishes are most popular and the options for preparation. After a short wait, one of the staff brought our food out to our outdoor table where we ate. The lobster was well cooked (not over or under cooked) but I would have enjoyed more butter either as a post prep topping or on the side (drawn butter). The mahi mahi was fantastic. Not a lot to say. My son and I visited the nearby Ocean City Welcome Center to view the rookery. After having our fill, we headed over here, fried seafood on our mind. We sat outside and enjoyed big orders of fried shrimp and oysters. The oysters could have used a bit more time innthe fryer but everything was greaseless and tasty. What more could you ask for? Good food is far and few between in Ocean City (unless you like the junk food on the boardwalk), so it was a real surprise to find this little seafood market. Probably the best broiled scallops I have had in years. Perfectly cooked and so tender it must have come off the boat that morning. And the sides? Absolutely delicious- baked potato (I know, how hard is it to bake a potato- but so many restaurants find new and interesting ways to screw it up), and corn on the cob perfectly done. Picked up a dozen crabs, already cooked, they had the best price for the area at the time $36 for a dozen. A bit confused from the sizes as every place said they had #1s whatever that means, I'm used to saying large, medium, but their #1 seemed more akin to mediums. We ordered the flounder stuffed with crab imperial it was quite a disappointment at $28. There was no imperial just dry flavorless crabmeat inside two very small pieces of flounder. It was overcooked and pretty much inedible. I got the fried combo which was better but the pieces needed to be cooked at different times. The flounder was thin so it was overcooked and dry. The shrimp were perfect as were the scallops, the oyster was undercooked and not edible. The deviled clam was tasty. Very disappointed in the take out seafood meals that we got from this seafood market. We ordered medium rare tuna, a Mahi Mahi and flounder. All were to be broiled and cooked in butter except for one of the tunas which was teriyaki. All 4 dishes were terrible and no one finished. The flounder and Mahi Mahi was dripping in oil. They forgot the teriyaki on the one tuna. Both tunas were cooked well with no pink in the center. Both tunas were not fresh as they tasted very fishy. Each meal came with 7-8 French fries and the smallest dinner roll I've ever seen. For $22.99 for each meal they were not worth the price. I could have bought seafood from ShopRite and saved a ton of money and it would have tasted better. Stay away from their prepared meals. I'm giving it a one star because we called to complain and they would only refund two of the four meals. I should have read the Yelp reviews before ordering. read more

The fish is typically good, but nothing really special. The prices are high at the existing location. Many times we've been there and they are out of something; like corn on the cob or baked potatoes?? Just send someone to a grocery store! It's frustrating. We ordered take out from here and it was very good! Each dinner is somewhat pricey (which is why i gave it four stars) and includes two side choices. We tried the Coconut Shrimp dinner, fried shrimp dinner, steamed snow crabs (doesn't include two sides) crab cakes and the broiled shrimp dinner with scallops. It is the only one I know of in Ocean City so it is good, fresh Jersey sea food. Ordered two lobsters and three sides to be picked up on 8/12/20. The food was fine--the sides were good, and the lobster was a little overdone, but nothing criminal. However, a pound of shrimp that we didn't order was tacked onto our bill (!). Mind you, this part of the order wasn't sent to the kitchen--it's not as though there was a surprise pound of shrimp in the bag that we picked up--and someone from the kitchen confirmed this when he brought out the order. This "extra" was only added onto the final bill, and this situation wasn't caught until *after* I had paid with my credit card. The young man who was handling the payments at the table just outside the building apologized profusely and said that the extra $13.25 would be taken off my bill that evening. He kept the receipt, but let me take a picture of it and took down my phone number. However, checking my credit card online today, I've noticed that the extra amount was never refunded, nearly a week later. I don't blame the young man--he was very nice, and I got the impression from him that he couldn't fix this situation himself--but something is not quite right with a business that makes this sort of error and doesn't fix it ASAP, if not the moment that it is caught. The raw shellfish is delicious here and they carry a wide variety of hard-to-find items like large, juicy snow crab claws, pre-cut and delicious for $28/LB. I do suspect they water down the claws to weigh more as I bought 1/2 LB order in June and got around 15 large claws; bought the same thing this week and got 8 or 9 and smaller. When I cracked the claws to eat they dripped water all over the place this time, not the first time. Counter service is fast. Would not buy cooked food here. The lobster bisque was very bland. Their shrimp are the same imported product I can get back home at Costco. Prices are 3X higher than any other seafood market in OCNJ. I paid $4.59 for a jar of cocktail sauce I should have brought from home for $2.99 out of necessity. The chilled seafood platter that I got last summer for $17.99 is now $30. Be warned. read more

The customer service at this restaurant is unacceptable. We were treated very rudely by a teenage boy that took our order on the phone. When we went to pick up our order,they had the nerve to ask for a tip. When we got home with our food we were missing the two sides that went with our dinners. I imediately called them to let them know that our baked potatoes and coleslaw was missing from our order, and again was treated rudely on the phone. I was told that they were out of baked potatoes. I asked them why we weren't informed that when we called to place the order. I then asked to speak to a manager and I was hung up on. I do not recommend this restaurant. My family ordered from here today and called in at noon for a 6PM pickup. When ordering, the person on the phone told us the total would be $109. At 6PM we arrived and were given a total of just under $150, significantly and unacceptably higher than the original $109 total we were given. The excuse was that the seafood had not yet been weighed out at the time of ordering and there is always fluctuation in the total. We weren't told this when we ordered. Even if we were told about it, a $40 difference is extremely questionable! Also, when we were waiting for our food we asked for cocktail and tarter sauce. The kid at the register said all the platters come with it. When we got back to our house there was neither cocktail nor tarter sauce. As for the food, we were pretty impressed overall. The broasted chicken (not even sure what broasted is) was amazing! The crab legs and mussels were delicious as well. We ordered two pounds of u-peel old bay shrimp. The shrimp was overcooked and tasted like what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. It also had no old bay on it. So, based on our experience in its entirety, we won't ever be ordering from here again. I'll go the extra 40 blocks south and get Mike's! Don't ever go, no service, no customer service and could have cared less. Even when they take your money, they still have no clue if they can service. I got raw seafood at Spadafora's Seafood Market to make a huge fish dinner for my whole family. I got scallops, crabs, lobster tail, shrimps, and flounder. It came out SO good. Dude the scallops were so fresh one of them was wearing a "SUPREME" fedora lol. My whole family loved it except for Harry who said the crabs reminded him of his exwife and stormed out. This meal in a restaurant would have cost like a billion dollars but with me making it at home it was so much more affordable. The people working there were super nice and made great recommendations. Really an unfortunate experience. While the food is decent, the service was awful. The guy behind the counter felt the need to yell at my grandmother for taking too long to pay. Then announced to the whole line that her card was declined, also not necessary. I gave him my card as she was too flustered to even respond. We were buying $100 worth of food and have been loyal customers for over 10 years. Unfortunately, some things aren't OK with me and someone over 18 should probably be in charge. Mostly clean, there was a few dead loss and some with full bellies.. The fried shrimp were of your average type. Not large, not small...but lacked flavor. The crab cakes have a spicy flavor so be careful!! But they were good! Clam Fritters were a great addition to the meal, I've never had them before and would love to find them local to where I live. Fishermans Feast was a decent value, and the food was a hodgepodge of the traditional ocean dwellers... Then comes the Scallop and Shrimp combo.....STAY AWAY.. If only for value, as the food itself is good. for $25 you get 7 scallops and 2....thats right...2 large (cough) shrimp. These are not giant shrimp, or huge scallops.
