The spinach was extremely salty and unfortunately every time i or my group took a bite of spinach it was off putting. I was able to eat the portions not touch by the spinach but it was so salty spinach was inedible. The best thing of the night was this spinach pasta dish with pumpkin. I would just go back for that. Again, overall it was a fun experience but unfortunately would not do it again. I would probably go back just for their pasta.

My favorites were the Foccia bread (very buttery), the lemon chicken and the gnocchi. The ambience is a nice candlelight dinner for a cute date night or special event. We made a reservation in advanced and they had a complementary valet outfront, which made for a no stress experience. Our waitress was kind, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is rotating with the seasons, a bit on the pricier end, which is expected, but really wasn't too bad for such high quality.

Seemed to be more to-go orders than anything. We came and were seated. The server told us it was her first day so she didn't have answers to any of the questions that were asked. I ordered the blackened catfish pasta and my friend ordered the blackened catfish meal. After waiting for quite some time, the server comes over and tells us that it takes about 45 minute to cook our food since everything is made to order. So if we were on lunch break, it would be better to call in the order. 1- it doesn't take 45 mins to scoop pre-made pasta or grill catfish. 2- You probably should have told us that information when we arrived, not an hour after we been sitting. Yes it took a full hour to get our food. With no one else in the restaurant. Should have been a clue. My food wasn't even piping hot when we got it. It was lukewarm as best. So the taste was just ok. Fish very salty. Pasta flavor was ok. My friend enjoyed her meal but was also disappointed in the wait and the warmness of the food. Presentation was good however. I asked for a to-go container and the check. The server said ok and then went to talk to another employee for an additional 20 min as we were waiting to finish up and leave. I had to go ask her again. And she said it's on the way. So in all, we spent about an hour and 40 minutes in this establishment during our lunch time. Not sure I have any interest to return.

Kelsie Nicholson was our server, who my son commented was "his favorite" based on past experiences. The mood was lively with a nice selection of low volume but energetic music played on the speaker system. THE FOOD & WINE At $65 for a 5-course Chef's Tasting Menu and $35 for the wine pairing, it is a good value. We started with a tasty carrot coriander amuse-bouche from Chef Nate, followed by: * Georges Banks Scallops: Served with tomato gelatin, cured kiwi, and crema. Paired well with a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. * Sweet Potato Tamale: Topped with spiced mayo, avocado crema, and charred cabbage. The spicy jalapeños and radishes added a bright kick that paired nicely with a blush-colored, floral Pinot Grigio. * Elysian Fields Lamb Cubano: A rich, complex dish featuring lamb shoulder and a fantastic touch of lamb heart (marinated for a week in adobo). Fresh arugula and pickles offset the richness, and the toasted focaccia was an amazing match. Paired with a medium-bodied Grenache that cut through the rich flavors. * Acadian Redfish: Charcoal-grilled with a creamy crawfish hollandaise and light-bodied potato crisps. This is the chef's elevated take on his mother's fish and chips, and it had a nice balance of oil and salt. * Dessert: Finished with a strawberry ice cream terrine and a decadent six-layer carrot cake that was moist, intense, and packed with pistachio crème. * We had a robust 2015 St. Emilion with a medium/heavy body, nice tannins, and age! THE SERVICE * The service was highly attentive, friendly, and earns a solid 4 stars. Sam, the sommelier, was knowledgeable and shared his insights on the pairings (he noted the 3rd and 4th courses were his personal favorites). Special thanks to Daisy for helping us with our first visit, walking us through the tasting courses, and recommending local places. * Because the restaurant ambitiously rotates its tasting menu every 2-3 weeks, it is harder for the staff to keep on top of the tasting menu details (compared to their regular menu items). OVERALL Overall, a fantastic 4-star experience. The culinary creativity and the beautiful dining room make it highly recommended!
