I hate I gotta do this but slice midtown. No sir. Maybe I could've asked them to run my slide through again but it was floppy & not that good. They get 4 stars because they're open late. 5/10 slice

I got the Grandmas Pizza, Strumboli, & 2 Cannolis. Everything was amazing! The pizza and strumboli were so flavorful & the cannolis were also delicious. The staff make you feel right at home, providing you with a comfortable & cozy atmosphere to eat some of the best pizza in memphis!

    Mini wings

I like the idea of the Big Box Sampler but the wings really made me rethink my decision of spending $30 on this. I've never had wings with little to no meat on them and being it was one of 2 proteins in the box, it just wasn't worth the price. Food quality and taste is like any other pizza spot. Very underwhelming to say the least

pizza, pasta, and salad on a table

When I tell you beyond disappointed. The pictures look good on social media but let me tell you the taste is not there. Everything is BLAND. Started with Garlic knots which were the best thing. The marinara sauce taste like it's straight out of a can just straight tomato sauce no Italian seasoning no salt etc. Fettuccine Alfredo was the biggest disappointment ever. It had absolutely no flavor. It tasted like they just mixed milk and pasta. The most bland dish I've ever had. Tried to add my own salt and pepper but no helping this. Now the pizza, the vodka slice was decent but again no salt just tastes like they take sauce from a can and throw it on the pizza. The white pizza had no flavor. It was like it was just ricotta only. When I tell you big disappointment I mean it. The pictures looked so amazing and left to go eat somewhere else. 2/10 do not recommend

    Veggie pizza

We went on Friday evening to try something new. Take out. Glad we did. Great people. Old style building. Also has tables to dine in. The restaurant itself looks bland but pizza is FRESH. A lot of shoppers from Uber eats and grub hub go there. We ordered pizza slices, the guy taking orders was super friendly giving us updates. Although our pizza was re heated he waiting till cheese was hot and melty. Delicious. The one taking payments on the right side was warm and welcoming. We will return.

As a Memphis Native, I've been searching for NY style pizza for the longest. Finally found it and it did not disappoint! Thin and crispy to perfection. As genuine as it comes, definetely check this place out!!

This was not good. Bland. Not even salt and pepper.

Really good pizza and sides. If you're looking for something more authentic NY style pizza in midtown, this is the place to go.

The menu looks similar to Little Italy - are these different owners and different recipes?

Hi! So yes we recently bought Little Italy and all their recipes! We are doing pizzas the exact same way but we did change some other things on the menu!

It became a couple of operations including the Brusnwick Kitchen. However, the name had was registered with the state and can no longer be used. So it is now Trudies Catfish Cabin. Oh, how I wish they made a good pizza and served beer. We really need this in the area! This isn't the first time I've been here and I'll return. However tonite, I'd like to highlight the Catfish Tacos. Three tacos for $12.99, and folks these are a better deal than many other places fish tacos. The three of them are a meal by themselves. I was with a three others tonite, and for all of us, the three tacos apiece was more than enough. For the two of us, our bill was $35.00 and consisted of two orders of fish tacos, drinks, and one order of french fries for the table. As for the Tacos: First off, these folks are using a nicely cooked catfish filet. It has only a few topping including a secret sauce that does not detract from the taste of the fish. Second off, the tacos were soft and flaky, and the server said these were made on site. Our server tonite was a young man and he was taking care of business; he would have made Quark the bar keeper proud. Lastly, this is a quiet place. The TV was on a basket ball ball game. Tonite the music was generic soft jazz. Sometimes in the afternoon its on an R&B channel for the music. The music sits in the background and doesn't interrupt conversations. The interior is softly decorated amd comfortable. The marinara sauce is terrible. The absolute worst meal I've had in a very long time. +/- Hamburger seemed to be the only thing that was palatable, but that was overcooked as well. Apparently, their Chef knows no other temperature for his/her dishes. - Terribly sad that the hamburgers is the best thing at any Italian restaurant! - This is clearly NOT an authentic Italian restaurant as it was before! We ordered the large BBQ pizza and a medium cheese, and boy were we horribly disappointed and embarrassed. The meat on the BBQ was old, and extremely dry with a nasty sauce of some kind on top, and the crust was soggy and not even cooked. The cheese wasn't any better. Again, the crust was raw and soggy with an extreme amount of grease on top. We soaked up the grease with paper towels hoping it would help, but nope it didn't. Between the three adults we couldn't eat more than three slices total. The remainder went in the trash. You'd expect better from a place that's been around as long as Coletta's has, but with food like this I'd think they're in jeopardy of surviving.

The chicken castrioti and veal parm seemed like they were sitting on the pass for quite some time. For the castrioti, it was in the sauce so long it lost all its texture. The sauce was meh despite sounding awesome. The veal was definitely not served fresh. The mozz had congealed and it was luke warm. The portion size at $37 was highly disappointing as well. As with any review, could of been a bad day. Just an unfortunate visit. Side note: turn down the volume of the live music please! Small space, have to scream orders to staff. :(
