Glen's estimate came in at less than 50% of the one we got from a national roofing company, without the high-pressure sales pitch, just straight talk after a thorough inspection of our roof. Our new roof and gutters are beautiful- and were installed according to schedule and the cleanup was thorough. I was concerned about my garden, which was right next to the house, but Glen took care to minimize the falling debris from the roof and covered things up with tarps. The new gutters are a significant upgrade from our old ones and I no longer have spillover during heavy rains. Our garage door frame was slightly nicked during the delivery of the pallets of roofing materials, and even though Glen's team was not responsible for the delivery, he spoke to his supplier, arranged for replacement parts, and very kindly repaired the damage himself. Though the damage was only to one side of the garage, he offered to replace the other side as well - and refused to take any payment from me for the extra work. I love being able to support local small businesses and in this case, I am so glad I did. If you need a new roof or repairs, and/or new gutters, Falcon Roofing is the way to go. Glen is a real professional and runs an honest, ethical company. Stay away from the door-to-door solicitors for national companies who will use local craftsman but up-charge by over 100% to cover marketing costs, executive management and profit.

We needed to tear out and replace all prior tiles due to leak, and wet uninsulated walls around tub. Mr. Buendia and his team planned out the job, gave us a reasonable estimate, told us from when to when the job was going to be done, emailed us job proposal, we agreed and signed contract, and the the job started. They covered floors and stairs to prevent any damage, while we made sure they had access to an empty bathroom. In the middle of job we discovered that we needed to reinstall 'all walls, which we did not know when we started. Mr. Buendia and I went to the Tile store on Eisenhower Ave., and we chose together a tile that would fit and look great, and align with remaining ceramic floor. The team worked in coordinated way, and the end result is truly terrific! We are very satisfied and very much recommend Mr. Buendia's team to others. Prior to this job we had also hired Mr. Buendia for other jobs, redoing siding and trim on a townhouse, replacing basement foor with tile, replacing ceiling tiles with a true ceiling, painting, installing storm doors. My experience was extremely disappointing and filled with red flags from start to finish. After payment was made, communication from Mr. Coleman became inconsistent and unreliable. Calls and messages were not returned in a timely manner--if at all. He frequently went silent for long periods, leaving me without updates on the status of my own project. It also became clear that Mr. Coleman is primarily a salesman and does not perform the work himself. Instead, he hires third-party contractors to complete the job. At that point, you would be better off hiring the contractors directly and avoiding a middleman who does not follow through on his commitments. I initially chose to trust him based on positive reviews and wanting to support a Black-owned business. However, professionalism, communication, and reliability matter in any business--and unfortunately, this company did not demonstrate those qualities. Although Lee did not perform the job himself, Ivan and his team came out to repair the drywall and replace the carpet. Ivan was really great - he was courteous and efficient throughout the whole project, which took about 1.5 days to complete. Some highlights were: 1) The crew was able to start working almost immediately after I called Master's Construction. 2) Ivan worked very hard to find the closest match to my existing carpet. It sounded like he was checking out quite a few places until he found someone all the way in Richmond that had our carpet! (FYI, I live in Falls Church.) 3) Ivan ended up re-painting all the walls of my bedroom to ensure that the paint color was consistent throughout.
