Please NEVER patronize SPALLYWOOD KIDZ located in Douglasville, GA! The WORST service EVER! The owner ruined my daughter's 10th Birthday by trying to end it early to make more $$ from other mall patrons and threatening to call the police in front of the kids. The kids were crying and scared, they've never seen the police called ever!!! I confirmed the event space from 3pm to 6:30 pm. I paid top rate for the event and expected top notch service. The owner would not allow my adult guests to use the restroom, but did allow this kids, supposedly due to COVID. When I questioned her about why she ended Karaoke early and when I advocated for the services I expected the owner was flippant and dismissive. Then I became irate and demanded my services. She called the police on me (LIED and said I assaulted her). She also attempted to steal my husband's phone by lying to both mall security and police that the phone wasn't there even after her staff confirmed that the phone was onsite. I had to involve Douglas Co Police who retrieved the phone after he heard it ping. This was such an unnecessary negative experience. The event space was girly, we've experienced better. This spa screams "little girls and teenage girls"!!! My daughter loves this place. Excited to see the owner move into the mall. The hours are now everyday, mall hours. Nails, toes, facials, crafts and now a girls book club. Walk-ins are welcome, but families can also book parties, special sessions, etc. Ps. The cotton candy and slushes are great. read more

This place is great for your little princess to have a spa party. Laila and her team was absolutely awesome. They worked the magic while I sat back and enjoyed my daughter and her friends be pampered like princesses. The girls had fun walking the run way and taking photos. Let me start by saying I do not leave bad reviews for small businesses, BUT THIS SHADY OWNER HAS VERY SHADY INVOICES PRACTICES. AND MISREPRESENTED ADVERTISING OF PACKAGES. IF YOU CANT FULFILL A PACKAGE FOR ANY REASON ( PANDIMIC INCLUDED ) IT SHOULDNT BE ADVERTISED ON YOUR WEBSITE AND YOU SHOULDNT BE CHARGED FOR IT IF IT WAS NOT PROVIDED!!! We booked a package for 6 little girls that ended up being 7. Which had a great time btw... I rented a party bus and declined thier complimentary red carpet entrance because I paid for one with the spallyworld package . Well my babies get to spallyworld and there is no red carpet. I ask for a discount or an additional add on. She says I'll give you $20 off... which was a slap in the face to me considering the amount of money being spent for it... and the red carpet entrance was the whole reason I upgraded the package 100+ dollars. The owner agrees to honor the $40 discount THEN RAISES the total price of my invoice by adding "taxes and fees" that were not on my invoice in the beginning then deducting the $40 which left my bill higher than it was from the start!!!! Then stated to me that taxes don't have to reflect on the invoice. Every invoice i have ever recieved has had a total price on it. No secret taxes and fees. I was there to spend the money not "feel like im getting robbed." And yes we did bring an extra kid with us that was unaccounted for. Which was also paid for on another invoice as well. RECIEPTS PROVIDED Which we were willing to pay for. And i still spent more money with this shady business owner buying Beenie Boo accessories. Only because it was my ARRIs special moment. I will never recommend this place to anyone. But I must say that the staff were very sweet to my babies and they WERE TIPPED even tho the theft by deception practices from the owner WHICH PUTS THE WORKERS IN CHARGE OF YOUR CHILDREN IN A BAD POSITION TO NOT BE TIPPED.. this is very. ITS was NEVER was the money. It's all about principl shady even to the workers in my opinion. My memory is only worth $20 when I paid for the "red carpet experience!!! I'm glad the Videographer didn't show up on time because that would have been a whole nother issue. I paid for a red carpet service to be recorded. With no red carpet.... and to be CHARGED MORE MONEY THAN REFLECTED on the invoice which SHOULD INCLUDE any "taxes and fees" than what I was originally charged AFTER THE DISCOUNT. If it wasn't for my beautiful babies eyes glowing with excitement I would have left the $75 deposit and did something else! NEVER AGAIN. READ YOUR INVOICES PEOPLE. AND RECIEPTS. I just had the worst experience with this place and the owner . My daughter was celebrating her 4th birthday. The first sign I knew something was wrong is when the store owner had no patience with my daughter at all . From picking a color for her nails to getting them painted. If it's an experience that you are trying to pay for here it is a waste of money . While the store owner painted my daughter's nails I was trying to capture her experience with pictures and videos, but the store owner snapped at me telling me I need to hold my daughter hands . My daughter is crying the whole time remind you my daughter is a happy child she probably sensed that this wasn't the place to be . The owner still cannot get the manicure right for my daughter so we move on to the pedicure portion of the package . The store owner keeps trying to push the nail polish on me that dries faster than others more so than letting my daughter pick her own color like she did before . After my daughter was done getting her toes painted the store owner started putting my daughter's boots on her feet without her socks . I was confused because my daughter was do to get a back massage next. So I asked the owner ,should she be putting on her shoes if she's getting a back massage? The store owner snaps at me and explains why she did not put her socks on because her toes are still drying. That makes sense but if your toes are drying and you can't put socks on why would you put on my child's boots . I asked can my child just get her massage barefoot . Only reason I asked was because the other little girls walked around barefoot so I figured it wouldn't be a problem. The store owner tells me the kids are not allowed to be barefoot. The store owner and I have an exchange of words and she says "your daughter cannot get her massage I'm just going to give you your money back " mind you a relative paid for this experience in advance. I waited for her to refund the money and then she comes back and says " okay so what have you decided to do" I said ,"you just said my daughter cannot get her back massage and that you would be refunding the money now you're asking me what have I decided to do . The store owner looks me in my face and tells me she does not want any problems but then starts talking about me under her breath in front of me . When I asked her to repeat or speak up she tells me " she does not want to argue with me " . By this timer he relative my daughter's paternal Grandmother came to this establishment to see how things are going . When I make my relative aware of what's going on the store owner goes out her way to tell The relative that "I don't know what's going on between your family and her family but she(referring to me) has been negative the whole time and acting like she did not want to be here". How unprofessional for you As a so called Black Female business owner to provide poor rushed service , had us pay $75 for a pampering package to only just barely get my daughter's nails and feet done. Not get everything we paid for because of the remarks the store owner made for the store to only refund $5 for a back massage . I left the store upset and went to Journey's kids and spoke to an associate there that says everybody complains about this establishment. I only see good reviews so I hope this helps out anyone trying to do something nice for their little girl and give her a pampered experience. This place is not it . They are UNDERSTAFFED. They are crooks charging outrageous prices for service that no where near worth the price . And the store owner is just awful and unprofessional. I had an appointment at this salon today for my two daughters. It was confirmed multiple ways with this company (email, text,phone) and pre paid. When we arrived it was a small gate near the entrance. I stood there for sometime with no one speaking to me (though they could see me standing there with the girls) and a woman eventually came by . This woman was sweet and confirmed the appointments for my girls . She took one to start the manicure process and the other to start the pedicure process. I asked was it okay if they did everything together but the lady explained they couldn't because it was busy . I understood this and proceeded to spend a few minutes which each girl while they were starting (while keeping an eye on the other ). Long story short , they were getting ready for a party and the supervisor on duty made it known by saying it multiple times and loudly where we could all hear . The lady doing one of my daughters pedicure was told "I need you to go do facials and let the other girl do the painting ." After that employee walks away (following orders) a new lady shows up to finish the pedicure. My daughter was sitting there for 5 mins and they were already "done" with the pedicure. I asked the lady why was it quicker than the other girls pedicures . She didn't have an answer to my question. All they did was wet my daughters feet , scrubbed it , and washed it off . Also , I paid for cotton candy and plastic rings and my daughter did not receive those. I brought this to their attention also. An employee listening to my concerns offered to grab her some cotton candy before she left . When the supervisor heard I was upset from this employee, she says loudly "what she say" . I said ,"ma'am I don't believe I got what I paid for and I'm unhappy with the service." I explains all the frustrations and she never once apologized or even say she understood. She was very rude and condescending with her tone . I told her if she didn't want to give me the service then I want a refund . She refused to and told me to dispute it with my bank . After going back and forth for sometime (yes , she went back and forth with me and still , no solutions given to fix my problem) , she calls security. She asked me to leave and I didn't get the service I pre-payed for . I stood there and waiting for them to come so he could at least give me her name (she refused to give it to me) . He told me I had to leave if she asked me to so I did . As I was leaving the supervisor called me satan . I will never do business here again and will make sure to tell everyone about the terrible experience. read more

I stopped at this place today because I saw dresses that I was interested in. The gate was down and There was a sign that said they were in the back and to call a number posted. I called and she told me she would be out in 5-10 min. It's 25 min later and no one ever came. I called again and it went straight to voicemail. UNACCEPTABLE and bad business practice. I am a business owner myself and understand the challenges of running a brick and mortar business but wasting peoples time is NEVER ok. Definitely will not be back or recommend to anyone. read more

This place is super cute! A pink, sparkly, girlie explosion! My daughter absolutely adored her 5th birthday party. The booking was easy and upfront and Laila was very professional, as were her staff.
