I texted Tyler Stewart about a meal for my family. He asked me what time worked for me and had it ready!! After a long day with the kids, it was wonderful to be able to pick up a meal from a place that I knew was taking the precautions to be clean and sanitary. Tyler even carried the food out to my car for me. Now for the food... I ordered bbq. He gave us pulled pork, Mac and cheese, beans and a salad, as requested. They even gave us brownies! I consider myself a "snob" when it comes to Mac and cheese because I'm basic and it's one of my favorites. Southern accents is Top 2 for sure!!! Next to my mommas ;). The food was delicious to say the least. It brings tears to my eyes that my local lawrence community is so caring and is taking care of each other.

Twice baked pot stuff is good. But not amazing too me. I would put in more cheese and bacon. Not whip potato so much. Or maybe they are instant. But good flavor Mac n Cheese was epic! I can imagine how good the meals with the Mac n cheese and meat are. Pickles are excellent. Crunchy/dilly Coleslaw is really good. I LOvE a vinegar based slaw and this has a mayo dressing but it's light and not drowning the cabbage. It tastes great. Got a small baked beans because I wanted to try it. No self control. They were AMAZING! Way better than the potato's. Fries were crispy and had a great crunchy outside. Yummmm We ordered all this so we would have meals the next day. Totally worth it. The burnt ends were good, nice seasoning and decent bark. The nachos had to be sent back as the pork was colder than room temp on first try. Second time around they were great. The house sauces are pretty unique. Heavy on the balsamic flavors. The spiciest one was our favorite. They make ice tea in house and it was perfect. The service was very nice and prices seemed fair.

My very favorite was the white chocolate mousse--the dot of raspberry sauce was delightful. The mousse was light and airy but also rich and decadent--and my last bite had a white chocolate chip. We arrived a few minutes before our 6pm reservation and were seated. At exactly 6pm, our server, Chris, started with our choice of hors d'oeuvres. Either a potato and fresh vegetable soup, or shrimp cocktail. My wife had the shrimp, and I had the soup. Both were outstanding. For dinner, I had the lamb, and my wife had the filet mignon.
