My 10 year old loves their burgers, we love their prime rib. It's a great place to bring your friends and family when they're visiting Florida. Their indoor seating is welcoming and very unique. We decided to try Spanky's because we drive by it all the time. So glad we did! My husband ordered the Cheeseburger and fries and I ordered the special, Filet with fries. My filet was a little overcooked, but still Tasty. I had to try my husband's Cheeseburger because he kept bragging how good it was. It was Yummy! And his onion rings were also yummy! They put a lot of love into the decorating. It was like if Cracker Barrel cared and was not a chain restaurant. They also put a lot of love in the food. Steak was a bit fatty for me but very tender and juicy. Great flavor. Waiter Josh was awesome! Where I come from spanky's is a breakfast place. This restaurant is know for their good meats. The outside of the building feels like it is haunted by a Mexican restaurant but I really can't go on enough about how delightful the decorations were from bathroom to parking lot. The sides were perfectly done as well. I really enjoyed the sweet potato and ambience. Very cozy and charming place. If they sold coke products here I would have to give it 6 stars read more

Spanky's is a quirky neighborhood restaurant with a "Little Rascals" theme. Tons of collectibles decorate the place - it's fascinating to see all the treasures. The staff are friendly, welcoming folks who make you feel right at home. The salad bar is great - lots of leafy greens (romaine, spinach, and mixed lettuces) to adorn with every topping you can imagine, plus macaroni salad, tortellini salad and seafood salad. There's also a kettle of fresh made soup. The big draw for me is their early bird prime rib special - between 4 & 5:30. It's a perfectly cooked 8 oz. The place is a must see for any "Little Rascals" fans. Very cute atmosphere. The entire restaurant is full of old time collectibles. So there is a lot to look at when you are there. The service was absolutely fantastic. I don't recall our waitresses name. But she was pregnant and she was amazing. Running around the place, very accommodating and friendly. Decor was like a hoarder owned it and it needs a deep cleaning staring with the ceiling fans over the tables with gobs of dirty dust on them..... aahhh chooo. Waitress was a little impatient taking our order as it was just about the cut off time for breakfast (10:30). However, the hostess who sat us gave us breakfast menus. ‍. On vacation in Naples and just left Revs Museum. The young fella at the museum recommended Spanky's 'That's where we send everyone.' With that recommendation we headed over for lunch. Great decor. Spanky's is a Mom and Pop that has been here for 35 years and as they said 'You don't last that long in this competitive area unless you serve good food'. The menu is simple, basic sandwiches, one soup a day, burgers wings and then 2 specials a day that aren't on the standard fare. Today was prime rib, potato and green beans for $13.95 or a fresh Grouper basket, fried with fries or slaw. We opted for the burgers and the wings because the car museum young 'un said 'they're great!' The burgers were definitely all that and a bag of chips - figuratively and literally. Delicious black angus with just enough fat before cooking to give them flavor. Way to go Spanky's, best burger we've had in a while. You can upgrade to fries for an additional $2.50 The wings were a bit dried out (mind you it was between 3&4pm when we were here so must overlook). Overall the prices are great, our cheeseburger $7.50, hamburger was 6.50 and both were of average size. Definitely good value for $. I recommend Spanky's for lunch and if we were here longer we would come back and try the daily special. read more

Have heard of this establishment and was hungry while doing errands and decided to stop in for a quick bite. I ordered a glass of wine and the $14.95 chicken fingers in a Buffalo sauce with an extra blue cheese. They were out of the wine I ordered and substituted with another. Bit into the first chicken finger and it was tough and chewy. Took another bite and got a mouthful of grizzle. Tried another finger (comes with 5 total) and the same thing with more grizzle. I was grossed out and didn't take another bite. The bartender asked if I wanted it boxed and I said no and explained how they were. She said "that's a shame" didn't offer me something different and gave me my bill still charging me for the awful meal. Not even telling the manager to rectify it. I won't be back. read more

Funky fun decor gets 4 stars. Food was good but not the best and gets 3. Salad bar had lots of fixin's loaded on the back of an old Model T truck bed. The airplanes, bikes, barber chairs, gas pumps, etc can keep you busy. The prime rib was supposedly real good but my rib eye could have used a higher heat sear. The fettuccine Alfredo was a bit bland, but the kids liked it. Ribs were just okay. I guess coming for the experience would have been better but I was looking for a great steak (after our first choice was closed). The server told me grouper was way over priced, cod was less expensive, and they tasted the same. This turned out to be very wise advice that took me six years to believe. When we first came here Mrs. K was sick and had laid her head on the table. Of course she did not order anything nor did she remember we were here. Thus our visit today. Being the wise Floridian I ordered the cod fish basket for $10.99 instead of the grouper basked for $13.99. As i have learned it is not worth the extra bucks. The fish came out hot and tasty with sides of coleslaw and fries. I swear every restaurant in Naples orders their slaw from the same place. Not a bad thing as it is always good but I am getting tired of creamy coleslaw. Mrs. K. ordered their chicken wings naked with mild sauce on the side. I found the wings to have a bit of an odd taste almost fishy as if they cooked in the same grease as the fish. Decided to hit this place up after another traveler at my hotel recommended it. I looked at the reviews and saw several that were inaccurate due to what they complained about. And that made me want to go even more. I ordered the prime rib as suggested. I started out with the salad bar that called for seconds. It was amazing. Very nice. Nothing like a couple others had complained about. It was very fresh and had all the basics and enough add ons to compliment well. Then the prime rib. It was just as ordered, medium rare. Absolutely awesome. A very fine meal, for sure. The only disappointment I have (and I cant reduce stars for it), was that I never saw the sign that several got all butt hurt about. Went here for our anniversary my husband always wanted to try this restaurant. We waited about 15 minutes to get a table. The waiter just kept walking by us, Then someone came and sat us and said ' oh didn't see you standing there'! We ordered drinks promptly and then our waitress just took off. Another 15 minutes she came back with 'are you ready now'! I wanted to order the small prime rib on the early bird special but since she took our order late the special was over, disappointed. My husband had the fish platter, I ordered the shrimp scampi appetizer and we ordered the peel and eat shrimp. Skip the peel and eat shrimp they were very small and came with a questionable sauce that tasted bad. The fish dish my husband had was really delicious and the shrimp scampi was equally good. Skip the salad bar he did not even get it! He said it looked disgusting with all the items mixed in each other's containers. The place had cute decor but it was very dark in there. My wife and I tried Spanky's for the first time since moving down to Naples. Heard many people talking about the atmosphere and food. We started with the salad bar and was not disappointed. a nice choice of options along with a very good chicken/vegetable soup. We then ordered our entree's, my wife had the chicken Marsala. Unfortunately it lacked serious flavor and the chicken was mediocre. I, in turn, had the ribs, however was very disappointed with the quality. They were dry and uneditable at the ends. I had heard how good the ribs were and was very disappointed. As far as the service, our server was excellent. she checked back with us many times during the meal. She did ask my wife at one point whether she was enjoying her chicken and when she told her it was lacking taste, her reaction was one of silence.
