    Update: Minuteman helped us with a very personal project (an adoption pamphlet) that was time…read moresensitive and had very specific requirements. They did everything we could've asked and more on what was a small project for them but HUGE for us. For less than $200 we got personal editing assistance with professional adobe tools we couldn't afford on our own. The results were just perfect and, pending some red tape, a huge success! I owe a tremendous debt to Patrick Havens - his individual attention and consideration in an emotional and urgent process made our experience so much better. Now our niece enjoys her own copy of our pamphlet (she's featured in it too!) and it's a keepsake for all the families involved in the process. Minuteman management approved Patrick handle this with extra time and care and they deserve credit too. Patrick, you helped bring a lot of love into our lives, thank you so much. Also, more important for many Yelpers: their prices were great, better than sketchy online outfits I considered at first. We were very happy there was no premium to support this local business.

I was told that she would need to show a valid ID to sign. NEVER did anyone say that the signatory had to be 21 or over - she is 20. Obviously I would never have got the required signature if I had - she lives alone. The woman who helped me at the counter was super rude and acted like I was bothering her. Even on the shipment notifications it just says they need to be of "legal age" - again my daughter is 20 which is legal age. So they attempt to deliver and then refused since she is not 21. It goes back to the local facility and they said they would try to deliver the next day and she could literally get some random person off the street to sign as long as they are 21! Well they never attempted to re-deliver - kept sending notices with a rescheduled date. In the meantime, the medicine has gone bad - medicine that cost $500. The cost of the shipment was $200. I filed a claim with FedEx and they gave me $100. $100 for losing over $700. And the package was never delivered and never returned to me. Its been over 6 weeks. I have spent HOURS on the phone with customer service and they tell me they can't do anything because the tickets are closed. I will NEVER use FedEx again and will tell everyone I know to NEVER use Fedex.

    My experience today at the UPS store in Napa was perhaps the most appalling customer service…read moreexperience in my life. I was previously treated unprofessionally by one of the employees when dropping off a UPS shipment. Again today, the same employee spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending manner as I was dropping the packages for pickup by UPS. I am a 65 year old man and the employee is probably in his mid 20s. Inappropriate for any employee who is supposed to be representing the UPS brand to order a much older person to do something without a please. I looked at him, incredulous that he would behave so impolitely. He maintained his hostile stare so I reminded him that I was a customer, not someone who worked for him. It was at this time that the second employee, a statuesque black woman probably in her late 30s got involved. She said loudly "it' always the same s**t with you. Those packages aren't going out today. You can take them somewhere else." I again stared, incredulous. Things escalated with her telling me to "get the f**k out, bitch" and my telling her that she was a rude cow. She even advanced toward me to suggest that she was going to assault me. I took my packages back to my van and to the UPS store at the north side of town where I dropped them (in a very busy waiting area without incident.) I also took photos of both employees. Tomorrow I will be looking into who owns that UPS franchise and contacting that person as well as filing a complaint with the UPS customer care and lodging a complaint about Store #4516. Stay away if you have any sense. The inmates are running the asylum.
