First, let's be clear about what this place is NOT. This is not a movie theater with recliners or…read morewaitstaff. No cocktail or plate will be brought to you during the movie. Also not the place to remove shoes, and fan ones pants. And yet .... Note: There is an imax with seats that will not stay upright. No footrest. There is no mechanical control, and if this matters to you- note there's likely to be pressure on the tail because of the odd seats. So, if you have a lower back issue beware. Also, the seats tilt so far that for those with long legs - it's kind of like the person in front of you, is in your lap. Second, what this place is: Kid Central. There are games, bowling, typical movie popcorn, and soda. There is also a bar with $15 cocktails. "Real food" can also be ordered from the typical movie concession area - and maybe the bar - However, the only tables I could find were 4 tops similar to mall food courts. Plenty of kids enjoying them. No waitstaff. No hand fans for sale. The day I was there, young children were prolific in the game and bowling area and elderly were out in droves at the imax - some of whom had removed their shoes. They all seemed happy as can be. So, if the kids need an outing with air conditioning or grandpa needs an imax experience - this place may be just right! However, a movie with a decent meal and beverage brought to you while you watch - its not gonna happen here. Also, not going to be a comfortable seat or have leg room or table space. But - there may be cranky old men without shoes actively using a hand fan on his crotch (see photos). I won't be there.

Removed his shoes in the Imax. Not seen because he was moving - a hand fan to fan himself too to bottom throughout the movie.

My boyfriend and I came out on a Friday night and I was expecting more of a wait. I'd called…read moreearlier during the day and spoke with the owner, Thomas, who informed me that demand fluctuates so there wasn't a reliable estimate on wait times for lane. We come in around 9pm and do the lunar special ($22.99 per person, shoes included, for two hours of bowling). We got a lane immediately and managed to get through five games in the first hour and a half. Five games are more than enough to tire you out, so we called it a night after that. I lost all five, but I was about to win the fourth if I hadn't had the win stolen from me by three strikes in the 10th turn. I would recommend Fiesta Lanes to anyone looking to do bowling in the San Marcos/New Braunfels area. The only thing I will say is that bowling seems to be rather expensive in Texas compared to where I'm from--every alley I looked up seemed to be more than $20/person. I don't remember ever paying more than $20/person for a satisfactory bowling experience at home, but compared to other offerings in the area I'd say the lunar special is a pretty good deal.

My teammate left a one star review at this establishment- we were there for a two day tournament…read moreand Fiesta put a group of young children on the pair next to us. Kids were being kids having fun- but they were very distracting not being a pair away. She asked front desk if they could do something and they would not. Day 2 of tournament- the owner came in- sought my friend out - had her verify her name and told her "get your stuff and leave or I will call the police for trespass". The review my friend put up could have easily have changed from one star to five if he had a conversation with her since he knew she would be there. Now, the owner is trying to save face by blatantly lying on his reply to her review saying she was using racial slurs. The guy could not handle a one star review and kicked her out. This owner is a joke and we will not be going back there. It's sad that he "doesn't believe in the first amendment" his words to my other friend. We packed up and left with her- we support our teammates.
