We were on a very quiet floor. The beds were comfy. Rooms spacious. Went on a weekday and was told there was a complimentary Managers Reception. Thought nothing about it and was greeted with a full blown meal with some delicious wine. I believe it was all you can eat but honestly one plate was enough. The morning buffet breakfast was ample. The staff seem to be on point and quickly serviced. As everything was available i did not need to reach out to staff. Check in and out was so easy. So yes, i'd definetly return again. The biggest is the argument I get over county taxes as a tax-exempt business traveler. They will fight for weeks over email on charges of $6.50 per night despite having been given a tax exempt form. Next, I was rushed out of my room by room service a full two hours before checkout time. They literally stood outside my door complaining that I was still in the room. 10 am when checkout is 12. Rooms are okay, but the fireplaces never work. Room service is every other day but they only do about half of what's listed on the bathroom mirror. All in all, this hotel makes things difficult for regular business travelers. I'd say look for another alternative.

Due to the time of our stay (less than 24 hours,) I just dealt with it as we had plans that we needed to leave shortly after check-in, and we did not have time to deal with room switching - which I shouldn't have to do to provide a clean hotel room for me and my travel companions. I actually took antibacterial wipes and wiped down the counters and stove - which had visible grime I had use elbow grease to get off. Fridge and all hard furniture had hand prints and grease on them. The whole room smelled musty and old, carpeting entering the bathroom at the threshold was all ripped up and honestly a trip hazard. Tub was black stained on the bottom with pubic hair from the previous guest. Communal shower products were gross - not cleaned with the shower (which I doubt was cleaned ever.) Body wash was missing and broken. Shower head was caked on with shower grime and calcium deposits. Orange marks (neon paint??) were on the bathroom counter that came off with an anti bacterial wipe I had - same mark is on the shared space curtains. Bed was comfy but when we lifted up the mattress pad to check for bed bugs, both the mattress and the pad were visibly dirty and that was just a corner. There were black specs which I thought were bed bugs but after more inspection, it was dirt. A hole in our bedroom curtains, Small, but still. TVs look like they hadn't been dusted in a year. I wiped them down w a wipe but that didn't help - they really needed windex. No dish soap for the kitchen sink!!! And no sponge!! Never seen that with a kitchenette at a hotel - how do you expect us to wash dishes?? Which we didn't! Initally none of us could find trash cans for the bathrooms/bedrooms - I called down to the front desk and told them we didn't have any and needed some. They said they'd send some up. They never did - nor did they follow up about it. We later we found them hidden in cabinets under the sinks. I also have a pending credit card charge from them $30+ over what we owed. I have a final receipt showing less. No one said anything about any incidental hold or any other charges, so I don't know what that is about, but it's still pending. I will be doing a chargeback with my credit card if it posts to my account for the wrong amount. The halls were filthy, walls in the room as well dinged, marks, dirt etc. The elevator is so small you cannot fit more than one person (maybe two) and a luggage cart in there with you. I would NEVER EVER stay here again. Especially for the $400 price tag. Not only is this not up to par with Marriott hotels or any other Residence Inn I've stayed in, I think less quality hotels (Super 8, Microtel) would be cleaner to stay in. I will be leaving this review on Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor as well. If you are reading this and you are management, and able to provide a refund, I am requesting a full refund for this stay. The hotel is very unimpressive on the inside. It's a bit outdated and actually kind of gross. The elevators skip when you walk on them which made me a little nervous, but then we got to our room and only one of the two keys worked. We open the door and get smacked in the face with the smell of dirty mop water. When we took off our shoes, and our socks got soaked, we realized the smell was because they freshly shampood the rug in our room. Which I appreciate, but maybe don't rent out a room with wet rugs? The smell stuck with us for the full time we were there, it got a bit nauseating. Beds were nice and comfortable but the pillows were AWFUL and gave no support (even while stacking all 4). We all woke up with stiff necks. The pool is indoors but there were no towels to be found so I'm glad we brought our own. Also, the pool was FREEZING. We couldn't spend more than 5 minutes there, which was one of the main reasons we booked here so that was disappointing. Plus the cameras in the pool kept moving to watch us. It wasn't automatic, there was definitely someone watching us. Hope you enjoyed your view. We booked here because they promised a continental breakfast. During covid times, I know alot of hotels were giving prepackaged meals for their continental breakfast rather than the hot buffet style they used to offer, but it's now July 2021 and most covid restrictions are lifted, so maybe stop saying you are offering a continental breakfast if you are only offering boxed cereal and some pre-packaged muffins. There are much better hotels in the area and I probably would not return to this one.

The downside of things was we booked a queen suite but got a full size bed. The room was "mostly clean" except corners could use a little tending to. As other reviews mentioned...the migrants that are residing at the property next door at the red roof inn weren't an issue for us and we often didn't see them. Front desk staff was very helpful, courteous and let use check in an hour early. This place doesn't offer breakfast but does supply the basic utensils to cook with in your room. Also free laundry on site is a plus along with the gym. If we're back in the area, we'd look into this place again. The front desk staff was even very polite and informative when booking the room over the phone.

There was obvious care taken in upkeep of the rooms, common areas and grounds. Linens were clean, no water spots or stains on carpet, and it felt safe--most of the other guests seemed to be travellers stopping over en route to other places, like us. Comfy beds, quiet / well insulated to sound. We had two rooms-- one was pet friendly but we saw no evidence of fur, smell, etc. Each room had its own AC. Water pressure was hot and good. Only complaints: shower curtains need replaced (discolored towards the bottom) and the parking lot needed attention both for resurfacing and gathering cigarette butts.
