Spark Pizza was highly recommended by my friends, so we made the drive out to Redmond. We came on a Sunday afternoon, and there was a long wait to dine in. But the workers said we can do takeout and enjoy our food on the picnic tables. There wasn't much parking in the lot, so we had to find street parking in the neighborhood. For three of us, we shared two pizzas and a side. We got the everyday I'm truffling pizza and the hot honey pepperoni pizza. I loved the thinly sliced potatoes on the truffle pizza, and the hot honey pizza was a good classic. It wasn't too spicy for me. The pizza boxes were also super cute and fun. We also got the burrata, and this is one of the best appetizers I've had. The bread was good, and the smoothness of the burrata was unmatched. I would definitely recommend making the drive out to Spark Pizza and trying their burrata!
05/21/2026 This popular pizzeria doesn't take reservations, but we really wanted to check it out since they were ranked in the top 50 pizzerias in the U.S. before. Got there shortly after 5pm. It was already packed, but fortunately we got the only two-seater available. It was all patio seating, and the weather was perfect for it. We tried the Honey & Spice & Everything Nice pizza. Flavor of the toppings were good. The crust itself was okay. Service was good despite how busy it was, and I don't think there were very many servers. The vibe of the place was very light and fun. I can see why it's a popular local spot!
I mean, what can I add that hasn't been said x100?? Everything you've heard about Spark is true - super friendly service, amazing pizza, patio seating only, long waits. But the wait is worth it! We showed up at 5pm, a pretty big group of 10, and were told the wait was 45 mins to an hour. I'll wait that every time! We waited exactly an hour, and the food was definitely worth the wait. We had the burrata, Caesar salad (exceptional!) and pickles to start, a few beers and lemonade for the kids (raspberry was a huge hit with the kids, they were served beautifully) and then the pizzas started flowing. We ordered a couple trufflins, fire in the holes, homage to frankie and margaritas. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. They were smaller than I thought but our server was great about us adding onto our order and the pizzas came out fast. If you're big eaters like us, I'd order almost one pizza per person. Service was super friendly from the host to our server, everyone was amazing. There's also a really nice picnic area with self serve water you could order takeout in person or in advance if you didn't want to wait for a table. Plenty of parking by the bank next door. I was also told if you wanted the NY pizzas offered on Sundays only, you need to be there before they open. They sold out in like 2 hours! Next time!
I've been eyeing Spark Pizza for a while, and I'm so glad I finally made it here. There was easy neighborhood parking behind the restaurant, and I came here on a weekend evening. There was thankfully no line for dine-in, and the service the whole night was great. Everyone was so friendly, and the whole vibe felt so comfortable and casual, which I liked. We got two pizzas, and they were both really good. The Fire in the Hole definitely had a kick to it, and although I ate most one slice without water, the spice built up and I eventually needed water. I really enjoyed the La Catrina, and it essentially tasted like a taco on a pizza. I'd definitely get this again, and I also would like to try other flavors next time I'm here.
This is one of our favorite pizza places! The dough is baked to perfection with nice charred leoparding. The toppings are well thought out and flavorful. We enjoyed the Fire in the Hole (vegetarian) and Buffy the Veggie Slayer. The margarita is a classic but not as tasty as some of the others. Rachel's Ginger Beer is more of a fizzy lemonade than strong ginger beer. Again, depends on your taste. The service is fairly quick, but can vary based on time of day. The rush hour times are usually busy and seating can take a while. Get on the wait list as soon as possible if you want to sit during the busy times. There is a small upper level for service but if you order take out you can sit at the picnic benches below and enjoy your food with complimentary water and utensils.
What a gem of a pizza place. Beautiful and tasty pizza. Priced reasonably for the quality. I've way too many pizza places lately and this one is one that my friends and I use as a benchmark for "good pizza" to compare against. I've been here countless times and it's never missed, the only hard thing is getting a table and finding the way into the parking lot. I personally would recommend the Homage to Frankies and the spicy honey one, but you can't really go wrong with any of them probably. It's cool sitting outside rain or shine, I've gone in every season and they properly weatherproof their patio. Servers are always very friendly and make pleasant small talk. Would go here over Serious Pie any day. Would recommend and give two thumbs up.
Detroit deep dish pizzas sell out FAST!! I got there too late (1:30pm on a Saturday) and they ran out. So instead, I got 6 different pies and here are my thoughts: Definitely try: 1) honey & spice & everything nice (hits the sweet and spicy taste buds, overall an easy and great crowd pleaser. Can't go wrong with this one) 2) mama mia (I love the garlic on this one and the mamas lil peppers make it just so much better) Try if you have room: 1) homage to Frankie's (if you love mushrooms and a "full" bite, this one's for you) You can probably skip: 1) classic marg (our server said it's the best pizza they have but I wasn't impressed. I got it with the burrata but on some of the slices it was just...burrata and tomato sauce. Where's the Basil?) 2) Sardinian (not bad, not good, but not worth $24 for some pineapple on pizza) 3) everyday I'm trufflin' (added burrata. Not really a pro tip, it was just ok. Not sure why I paid $32 for it and it was just slices of potato with truffle oil pretty much). Servers were all pretty laid back and quick, pizzas come out without ~15 min or so. There's dining on the deck and also below deck. All seated dining is outdoors. Lots of people do takeout as well.
Pizzas, salads, and cocktails are excellent! We keep coming back! The pizza crust is chewy and crispy at the same time. They have so many different choices for toppings, some of them are quite unique. The pizza names are super fun, too. Dinner is served on the raised deck, which is heated in the wintertime. In the summertime there are also a bunch of picnic tables out front. Service is always quick and friendly. Tonight the music was too loud but usually it's just average.
This place will never not be busy!! Ok we came here at what we thought might not be a packed time and were very wrong hahaha. So after the 20min wait we were sat at our hosts absolute fav table (his words not mine lol), and ordered the burrata with the most amazing pistachio Crémeux and the perfect amount of bread. I also had the best margarita eveeeerrr!! Hats off to whoever made it. For the pizza we were out of luck getting the New York style pizza but all their pizzas are glorious so it's not biggie. We ordered the fire in the hole minus the Calabrian chili and OMG it is sooooo delicious ughh. Let me also say their people are amazing, so kind and attentive, well done guys! Just as a reminder there is no indoor seating but their patio is covered and warmed with plenty of heaters. It does get packed but honestly it's a cute ambiance
Get ready for a wait for this one as they only have outdoor seating, but accessible bathrooms that are one stall! Everyone who we interacted with was very nice. They even mixed up our party number so we had to wait a little longer but everyone was so apologetic. I ordered the vegetarian and it was ok, I think some hot honey added would've it the kick I was looking for. The pizza that tasted the best was the one with the steak that was a Mexican style. It tasted just like a taco. Overall, a yummy experience.
I was excited to try Spark Pizza. It did not disappoint. I loved their Neapolitan style pizza with the thin crust. We came on a Sunday so they were also serving New York style pizza, which was massive. It was good, but I personally preferred their specialty pizzas. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to recommendations. Overall, a great experience and I would come back again.

Everything's great - my favorites are the truffle-tater pizza and the burrata app. Super hospitable staff across the board every time we go there. Love the seating options and the allyship. A bajillion extra bonus points for how friendly y'all are to my dog every time. When we were staying at The Luke during our first month on the west coast he would try to go in to say hi even when you were closed -- you're only the second of many establishments he's been in over our seven years together where that's happened! Wish there was a lunch-slice menu that fit into my company's $15 lunchdrop range!

Spark Pizza is such a gem. It's one of the best pizza spots in the area, and is a total win for the Eastside, which everyone on the Eastside knows already, so get here early! No, really, it sells out. My friend and I visited for happy hour, when they have stellar deals with three pizzas for less than 20 bucks and drinks for less than 10 bucks as the menu is normally on the steeper side, especially for the pizza. I ordered the Feelin' Peppi pizza, which is basically a pepperoni pizza and my friend had the Happy Gal pizza, which was a mushroom base with garlic and different cheeses. We each drank a glass of sangria, which was strong, which is how I like my booze! The pizzas take a bit to make since everything is freshly made - and is worth the wait. The crust is crispy but soft enough to sink your teeth into and the pizza has tons of flavor. It's easy to finish a pizza on your own because of how flavorful it is. Although the happy hour is a deal you cannot beat, all the other pizzas on their standard menu are worth checking out at full price, especially their weekend specials, like the NY style pizza and Detroit style. Both of these specific kinds of pizza sell out as people usually wait before the place opens, I kid you not. It's that popular here. Despite how popular it is, there is a parking lot besides the restaurant if street parking nearby cannot be found. It's also not too far of a walk from Redmond Town Center as it's near the transit center and is in the downtown core. Plus, dogs are welcomed on the patio, which is a win. Staff could not be friendlier. For pizza on the Eastside, Spark Pizza is the best. read more
I got the Everyday I'm Trufflin' (4/5) and my partner got the Fun-Gal (3.5/5); both were good but pretty expensive and small. We thought it was overpriced and overhyped. Takeout was on time (4/5); there was a pretty long wait when we went. read more

Visited spark pizza on a sunday afternoon to see if it lives up to the hype. At opening, there was already a line to wait for up to an hour, so we opted for takeout instead, that resulted in a 45 minute wait. Entire parking lot full, and every space taken to even wait. Outside has a patio that's a nice causal space for big parties. We ordered a gluten free homage to frankie's ($31) overall, the taste was good, and toppings were fresh. The crust was very hard and tough to eat though. I would try again and maybe it would be better on a different day. The price is expensive where every pizza is +$4 to be made gf. The price would justify if the crust is better, but I do see the potential! read more

very very yummy gem out of redmond. honestly wasn't expecting it to be this good. it's a little ways from the downtown train station but it's worth the walk! the burrata was really unique; i don't think i've had it quite like that before. i loved it. my friends got the classic margherita pizza while my boyfriend and i got the honey, spice, & everything nice. i can't eat pork so we subbed the pepperoni cups for mushrooms. totally worth it. it was so good, i left feeling suuuuper full!! the only problem is that it is kind of a poppin spot and they're understaffed, so it was really busy. the host suggested we get takeout and just eat at the picnic tables below. that's what we ended up doing. so until they have more waiters, i recommend going with that as well. everyone we spoke to was super nice though and ordering was a breeze. i'll be back here for sure. this might be The spot in redmond for me so far. so glad i have the train to connect me here now! read more
Came across Spark Pizza by chance while we were in the area and craving pizza. Easily one of the best pizzas I've had in Seattle! We ordered one tomato sauce-based pizza and one specialty pizza -- both were excellent. Our favorite was the potato truffle pizza. HONEY, SPICE & EVERYTHING NICE ($23) - 4.5/5 Tomato based pizza with a nice kick from the pepperoni and a subtle sweetness from the honey. The dough tasted fresh -- soft, chewy, and well-balanced. EVERYDAY I'M TRUFFLIN ($24) - 5/5 An amazing flavor combo. The potatoes were tender, and the truffle paired perfectly without overpowering everything else. Highlights were definitely the truffle pizza and the freshness of the dough. Even after a 20-minute wait before eating (we got takeout), it still tasted great. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more
Detroit style pizza in Redmond!! Pizza is delicious and well complimented with a chewy crust. Try the burrata and butter appetizer. Service is fast and there's enough seating. If you sit outdoors, there are heaters. I'd recommend the prosciutto and hot honey pizza. Note, there are huge wait times if you go during peak hours. We were quoted an one hour wait but turned out to be 30 mins. read more
It's been a while since I been back here and they are just as busy as always. We actually ordered online this time and just came to pick up. Parking lot is full so you would have to find Parking on the streets or elsewhere. There was also a line for pick up as well. The vibe here is calm though yet lively at the same time. We ordered the fire in the hole. The pizza was pretty good. Love that the spice came through. My feedback is that the pizza is pretty flimsy, like it would probably break if you just hold it by the crust. Otherwise, flavor is pretty good. We tried keeping one of them as a cold pizza and it wasn't as good hahaha read more
tl;dr - great crust and delicious topping combinations, no reservations, wait for table can be very long All seating is outdoors with half on the upper deck and half below. The wait times can be upwards of an hour or more and they don't take reservations. They do have take out and online ordering so that's a great option if you don't want to wait. Honey, Spice, and Everything Nice - hot honey and pepperoni. What's not to love about that combination? Spark does it better than other places I've tried hot honey pizza. Children of the Corn - this was introduced to me by a friend and it's definitely one of my favorites now. The combination of sweet corn with the slightly spicy chiles is pretty magical. It's seasonal and only available during the summer for a couple of months. Fun-gal - an elevated mushroom pizza. The local and seasonal mushrooms are always tasty and unique. read more
Went on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. Our server told us about a their "hella happy hour" that started at 3 which was nice if you like drinks but I came for their delicious pizza. You get a lot for what you pay for. I love how they use fresh ingredients and the dough to toppings ratios are the perfect amount. These are the two yummy flavors that I recommend. Homage to Frankie's | 24 Tomato Sauce, Shredded Mozzarella, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni Cups, Basil, Pickled Peppers, Cremini Mushrooms, Red Onions (Detroit style is Tuesday to Saturday dine in only.) Came in shortly after opening on a Sunday afternoon and it was starting to get busy, but got a table, pizza came out quickly and it was excellent. Got the NY style. This is definitely the best pizza I've had since I moved to the area. They earned that spot on the Top 50 list and I can see why after tasting it. We ordered the La Catrina and Fire in the Hole pizzas and while a bit pricy, it's a wayyyy better deal than pizza at the other local spots like Pagliacci's and Zeek's. The crust was so light and crispy, the pieces held together well and none of the slices really fall apart when you pick it up to eat. They offered us some hot honey on the side too when the pizzas came out and that was a welcome addition too the Fire in the Hole. I didn't find it too spicy but consider your own spice tolerance before ordering. The La Catrina was my favorite of the two. The steak and the toppings all went together so nicely that it 100% beat eating tacos at your average PNW taco truck (but obviously not California tacos). Pickled red onions on the pizza really gave it the depth of flavor it needed. read more
Went at off peak hours on a dark rainy day and it's beautiful ambient seating really set a great mood for a casual dining experience with some friends! We all ordered our own and shared some slices around, which was more than enough food for all. The service is fast and polite, and they came by to ask if everything was great at just the right time. The bread is fluffy and the sauces are flavorful. My friend's pizza had a burnt bubble volcano in the crust, and the burnt char taste lingered. So, we celebrated my kid's birthday there with a group of his friends. He and his dad had gone recently and he loved his pizza. The pizza is definitely worth the hype and the wait. We did have a bit of a wait but we occupied ourselves prior. All the teens *loved* the pizza and one said she now know why her cousins yap about it all the time. Service was quick, helpful, and made good recommendations. Even though we had a bigger group, our pizzas came out within 5 minutes of each other. They also gave him a birthday dessert! We tried the turf and turf, Frankie's homage (RIP to Frankie's), one with hot honey. One person didn't eat pork so they let them sub grilled chicken which was perfect. The heaters keep it cozy in their covered outdoor seating area. Also loved the Caeser - you can get it with or without anchovies. I thought the amount of dressing was perfect - not too much. They were sold out of their specials but we will try again earlier in the day! Don't sleep on this place. So good! read more

Seemed like a popular place so if you're hungry, make sure you arrive early for the wait time. We came here for the first time and had to wait about 45 minutes. Although there was a wait, it was worth it in the end. We appreciate the heaters up on top that kept us warm when we were seated because it was pretty cold outside, We tried the Turf and Turf pizza, it wasn't too bad because it was packed with a lot of meat. The crust had a nice crunch to it, which I really liked. The lightness of the breading felt light and it didn't make us feel bloated which I also liked. We also got the Fire in the Hole pizza. The first bite had a nice spicy kick that made it even better and made me want more after the first slice, the name of the pizza fits well. Definitely one of my favorites. My friend ordered the mushroom pizza with no cheese and extra garlic. It was different, not really my thing, but he liked it. Overall, the staff was friendly, and the food hit the spot. One thing I wanted to really try was the motor city pepperoni Detroit style pizza! I pretty much came here for this to find out that they only make 20 of them a day which was a bit disappointing. By far the best pizza spot in and around Seattle , Bellevue or Redmond that I've tried. The crust is so good, not heavy at all. Delicious and flavorful. It's a hot spot so definitely recommending making a reservation in advance or calling ahead to avoid the wait. They have heaters set on so perfectly warm to enjoy the pizza. Amazing pizzas, attentive service, casual dining. Parking can be hard since it is street parking or using the next door bank parking lot and ignoring the risk. Can eat in the sheltered area or outside tables next to the street. Quality food for the price. read more
I got a Sardinian pizza. From the menu: Confit Garlic Base, Ferndale Mozzarella, Red Onion, Prosciutto Cotto, Pineapple, Jalapeno Sherry Bacon Jam, Parsley I thought it was pretty good. I appreciated the texture of the dough. It was pretty fresh, warm, and had a nice texture. The toppings were good but I was hoping they'd have a bit more flavor. Somehow the garlic confit was pretty bland and I didn't really taste the jalapeno sherry bacon jam. I also think it would have been nice if the prosciutto was a little crispy. It was expensive though. $31+ after tax and tip. I'd have been happy paying $15-20 or something but for $30+ I'd look elsewhere. read more

Second time at Spark Pizza. Came with a group of 8 for mid-day lunch during off peak hours on a weekend. It was a nice day and was able to get seated on the picnic tables they had below right away. If we wanted to eat on the main patio, it would've been a 50 minute wait. They have happy hours 3-5pm everyday, even on the weekends. $10 cocktail drinks and $16 pepperoni or mushroom pizzas. Our group ended up ordering (2) Caesar salads to start and 4 pizzas overall. The quality of the ingredients and pizzas were all good. Crust was soft and chewy. Didn't feel heavy or bloated after eating, which I normally do. Wanted to try the Detroit style pizza but it was sold out. Waiter mentioned you have to be there when they open or the first hour to get the deep dish style. Would highly recommend! This restaurant is also dog friendly. read more

Had dinner at Sparks Pizza in Redmond tonight and it was insanely good. We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table but it was worth the wait. We got the gluten free Homage to Frankie's and the crust was light, fluffy and chewy and the toppings were a perfect balance of flavor from the crispy pepperoni, sausage, earthy mushrooms and slight pop of acid from the pickled peppers. Finished dinner with a GF brownie and vanilla ice cream. It was so nice to have a meal where having to eat GF was so clearly not an afterthought and something that the restaurant puts a lot of thought and care into. Service was very attentive and friendly and the pizza only took about 10 minutes to come out. This was by far the best GF pizza I've ever had. It's probably not safe for someone celiac due to cross contamination but for people who want a truly exceptional GF pizza and aren't as sensitive to cross contamination, it is completely worth a visit. read more
Obviously come for the pizza which is the hands down best in all of Seattle. But you need to stay for the burrata!!! Insanely delicious flavors: pine nuts, honey, pistachio crémeux, roasted garlic. People wait in line for their Detroit style and New York style pizzas for good reason. Also there's a guy who works here with the kindest eyes and smile ever. He greets everyone like they're old friends - something about him is so warm and authentic and welcoming. One smile from this guy and all is right with the world. read more
Highly recommend the Caesar salad! The bread croutons were delicious, could be dressed a little more but overall delicious. Service was super nice, always attentive and checking on us. Also, only outdoor seating so luckily it was a beautiful day - very cute spot! read more

Is it a long wait ? How long is a wait?
At least 45 min - an hour since there is limited seating (only outdoor patio). However you can order pizza to-go at the takeout window and wait for 15-20 minutes
Do you allow dogs on the patio?
Yes! We love dogs! Just be sure they are tucked under the table so we don’t step on tails while delivering food!
Is your gluten free crust house made?
Yes, and it’s EXCELLENT! Even non gf enjoy it!

Any chance you are going to find a way to improve your parking situation? I've tried to visit three times and the only nearby option has been to illegally park at the bank next-door. Any suggestions for parking in walking distance?
We do have very limited parking behind Spark. The bank has been very generous to allow parking in the lot between us after the bank is closed. Also the parking right along the fence line is always public. As for street parking the street…
Is there home delivery option?
Currently we are in person carry out Only. Our pizza up quiclkly in the 800° oven!
Is the patio dog friendly?
Yes, we love dogs and welcome ones that are well mannered!
