This is one of the best pizza places around. The pizza is thin, chewy, and flavorful. I highly recommend getting something with the spicy honey on it. The NY Style pizza they do on certain days is also good if you're into that foldable slice. The location is also a cool place to hangout while eating. Just know that there's not really parking on site. You need to park in the shared bank lot or on the street. Also, the pizza is definitely priced higher, too much for me to make it a regular stop, but it's worth it every now and then. read more

What an amazing Yelp Elite Event! Huge shout-out to Lauren, Tony, and Chef Kyle for putting on such a great family style lunch for everyone. You can really tell how passionate Tony is with the restaurant, even talking about the accent colors to paint the restaurant and the porch itself. Kyle is incredible as well and we spent hours talking about custom made ovens from Italy to the san marzano tomatoes they use for the pizza sourced from California. I'm so glad they served a variety of other dishes as well, because surprisingly my favorite entree was actually their in-house smoked mackerel with a broccoli salad, pesto sauce on bread. Of course their pizza was amazing too, it was very Neapolitan inspired but Kyle explained that they use a different flour mixture instead. I think Spark Pizza will definitely become a pizza institution in Redmond and I wish the owners and chef Kyle the best! read more

I had Spark's booked marked & finally got to try it today. Missed Happy Hour by 1 min but food was worth the full price. Cute neighborhood spot in Redmond (lucky Redmond). Covered patio was full but we did not have to wait too long for our table. I went with a pizza snob from NY & we eat Pagliacci 1x per week. Their salad menu seem to change & rotate. We tried smashed potato salad with prawns added (hold Gorgonzola). OMG it was amazing!! We enjoyed every morsel of it. Next came the Hommage to Frankie & Margarita pizzas. Delicious!! The crust is just perfect tender with slight char. Yummmm. Met my expectations++ glad we got 2 pizzas so I can eat more at home. Overheard the to go window guy while waiting & he was very friendly/helpful. Overall, the staff was friendly albeit little inefficient. Theses are not easy times for restaurants. What an awesome event - I had such a great time, thank you Yelp and Spark! Really enjoyed getting to sit down and share a meal family style with fellow Yelpers. Spark kept the food and drinks coming quickly throughout the entire event, I left incredibly full and happy. It was great meeting Chef Kyle and owner Tony, I had no idea Tony also owned Woodblock - one of my favorite Eastside restaurants! Some of the items I liked the most were the Manhattan cocktail, the Honey and Spice and Everything Nice, the Fun-Gal pizza, and the lemon basil sorbetto, but really everything was delicious. On a random raining Saturday evening, I found my Spark. While in Redmond running errands, I had a craving for pizza and thanks to Yelp, stumbled upon this paradise. It was around 6pm so prime dinner time, but we managed to get a table on the very cozy and heated covered patio! As soon as we sat down we breathed in the fresh and warm pizza air and immediately were hungry (always a good sign). Our server recommended the Honey Spice and Everything Nice and I was sold right away, and my bf ordered the Buffy the Vegetarian Slayer. As we waiting for our food and saw others food come out, again our mouths were watering (and again, always a good sign). When our pies arrived, they did not disappoint....perfect topping to crust ratio, and perfectly balanced crispy and chewy crust. The Honey Spice is easily in my Top 3 pizzas I have *EVER* had...the flavor profile is unique and who doesn't love pepperoni cups?! My bf enjoyed his Buffy but clearly not with my same level of enthusiasm...but that was also very hard to beat. Service was great all around - very attentive and super friendly! Also, we appreciated the sign that said that we could bring our dog in from the car (which is where he was!). Absolutely will be a regular here to try out other pies (goodbye, diet). read more

I have found my new favorite pizza place on the east side! Having moved here 2 years ago from Minneapolis, where believe it or not there are too many fabulous pizza places to choose from, I have been in search of something comparable. The pizza toppings here are fresh, unique and flavorful. The crust has the perfect balance of char and tanginess that I love. The service is welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. There is only outdoor seating but it is well lit, covered and heated. Love the obvious inclusivity vibe as well. Can't wait to come back and try more food. read more

Great local pizza spot! The service was spot on and the food was delicious, but I really wish they would take reservations. We ended up having to wait 1.5 hours for a table but the food made up for it. We got 3 salads and they were very light and fresh. We also got a classic Margherita pizza and the Vegetarian slayer pizza. They were DELICIOUS!! The pickled onions on the vegetarian pizza were everything. If you like pizza and cozy atmosphere you will love Spark. Parking is rough don't even pull to park in back, only 4 spots and once in turning around is not easy. The place is friendly and cozy as it is on the smaller side. The patio has heaters to keep it warm and they offer you a fleece warm blanket, nice personal touch. Nice selection of beer and pizza. We had the mozzarella starter oh heavens sake it was delicious, then our pizza came. Personal 13 inch, plenty big for one person, but the crust - I'm not a crust person, and it was delicious. Fluffy, flavorful and cooked perfect. We will definitely be back, but will make sure we don't go during rush hour, it quickly formed a line for dinner even at 5:30. read more

Spark makes a phenomenal pizza. Been here several times, the hella cheesy is a sure fire win, once there was a seasonal corn pizza that was to die for - it was so good we started trying to recreate it at home, I'm very hopeful it comes back this summer. Turf and turf is a meat lover's paradise. No reservations, which kinda sucks, and there's always a wait. Drinks could be a bit more extensive, but it is what it is. Caesar salad was mediocre. This place is absolutely worth a visit! I drove from Fremont to pick it up and don't regret it one bit. It's slightly pricy once you add on the gluten free crust (+$4), but I honestly can't wait to try it again. I will dine-in next time to have it fresh. Really wanted to try Spark Pizza, but online ordering doesn't work. Attempted to place an order online after carefully picking out about $150 worth of items to try. Upon submission I could only get an error stating, "Cannot return null for non-nullable field". I attempted trying many, many more times spending 20 minutes trying to figure it out. i didn't know I needed a degree in computer engineering just to order food. Lol Checking out some of the pizzerias on Eatside Seattle list. This is definitely one to try. A little challenging to find parking, but worth a little walk. Lots of unique choices of pizzas and toppings, begging for more return visits. Lots of room on the patio, the old house converted to pizzeria, with challenges , just to keep up with to go orders. Service was great, and the waiter was helpful with the history as well as why there is no draft beer(not enough room inside for pizza magic and kegs. I disike a prominent, dominating, bready dough. Spark's pizza crust hit just the right balance of fire and brim, pillowy and light, and also thin. It can use a bit more rigidity, which that alone would likely fail the NY test, but hey, I'm not in NY. The toppings and choices are modern. If you don't see a standard pepperoni, just ask instead. I fully embrace originality when it comes to pizza toppings. Boss Hogg - Porchetta, Sausage, Pesto, Smoked Artichoke, Kale, Mozzarella, Garlic Confit Let's just say my hubby ate the entire thing himself. Space Jam - Garlic Confit, Zucchini, Mama's Lils, Sheep's milk feta, Sausage, Squash Blossoms, Charred Scallion Pesto I replaced sausage and feta with mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Delicious!! Request: A vegetarian pizza on the regular menu. But they seem to be open with swapping out meat and cheese for veggies, so that's good enough for me too. The pizzas arrive surprisingly fast, about 10 minutes. I was ready! Our waitperson is Elise, and she was helpful and nice. It was only her third day there! The outside patio is huge with heaters. It was a beautiful day to be sitting outside today. They don't take reservations. Their parking lot is small. They have a lot of outdoor seating which is great for the summer. The service was really great throughout the meal. They have a good wine selection. The menu is interesting with some unusual combinations (which is happening more often). I ordered the Fun-gal--which is a mushroom-centric pizza. I also added some sausage. The pizza is phenomenal. It features an unusual crust. I normally like thin crusts, but this was also light but very tasty. It was blackened at a couple of points--but I liked that. The toppings were great also--I really loved the mix of mushrooms and then the garlic sauce was wonderful. I am so happy to finally visit this place!!!! Best wildfire pizza in the PNW (that we've had). I am GF and have tried so many GF pizzas in the area. I am happy to finally have found one that makes my heart sing!!!! I had the shrimp on the barbie pizza and it was delicious. The drinks were also delicious. Per our waitress I opted for the strawberry lemonade with vodka, and it went down quickly so I "had" to try another drink that would slow me down. Ordered the vodka gimlet. Outdoor dining for Covid was pleasant and they had hand sanitizer on each table which was a nice touch. Loved our waitress, so friendly. Coming back for sure!!!
