I was planning on transferring programs because this has been the worst experience I've had in…read morerecovery housing. On Friday night, I expressed my intention to leave, and staff told me I needed to wait until Monday to complete a formal discharge. I agreed to that. Sunday night, while packing my belongings, I accidentally missed my UA time by about an hour. Shortly after, I received a text in the house group chat from Ryan Young saying, "You need to UA now or we will throw all of your things on the road. This is not a Motel 6 or a storage unit." That was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. The staff themselves told me to remain there until Monday, so to be threatened and humiliated publicly in the group chat was unnecessary and degrading. I would honestly have preferred staying in a Motel 6 than dealing with that kind of treatment. This program lacks compassion, professionalism, and basic respect for its residents. I don't recommend it to anyone.

They are big on harm reduction and never turning anyone away and those are two huge things I look for in rehabilitation centers these days. Especially a place that has a solution for things that most don't even realize need attention.

I saw Dr Lebas Monday after my new health insurance Dr would not re-flll my sleeping meds. I have…read morebeen on sleeping pills for damn near 15 years. It started when my daughter wouldn't sleep through the night, so I never got back to sleep. Kaiser had given me this wonderful sleeping pill telling me it was not addictive!( yeah right!) 15 years later I am still taking them. Anyway its time to get off of them. Dr LeBas seemed knowledgeable at first. She explained how bad they were, but I already knew this from research i did. We are cutting my dose in half, and hoping it wont be to hard to get off them. Note to anyone, do not take sleeping pills anything past 8 weeks, they are highly addictive, and hard to get off! I will see her again next week, to see how I did with the lower dose. Wish me luck! :) Went today for my follow up, 9/22/14. I explained to Dr that I did not take the Depakote, as I will not take unnecessary drugs for something I do not have! She got upset and said she will no longer treat me, and I need to go elsewhere! I read such horrible things about Depakote on the manufacturers website. If someone just needs to get off their sleeping pill, they do not need a pill for manic depression! Really????? I was there for 5 mins, then asked to leave her office! Many Dr's care about making money and keeping you on drugs. I found a wonderful Dr that afternoon, willing to wean me off the way I was already doing it. with no adders. She is cruel and heartless. BEWARE!

ZERO stars for this woman. I've held off on writing a review about Dr.Lebas for months now but…read moretoday really sent me over the edge. I STRONGLY encourage anyone who is looking for a psychiatrist, to look elsewhere. Someone else mentioned that she really doesn't care about her patients and it's true. This is a person who is only in this for the money and could care less about the people under her care. It blows my mind that someone like this is allowed to practice medicine, let alone help people with mental illness. Trust me when I tell you that there are far better qualified, caring people who are passionate about psychiatry. Go find one of them. I refuse to return and give her anymore of my money and time. Yes she prescribed me my medication, but anyone can do that. Today I called ahead and let the receptionist know that I needed to come in because I would be flying with my Emotional Support Animal. The airline requests documentation from my psychiatrist saying that I am currently under their care and have been diagnosed with a mental illness that is listed in the DSM. The receptionist made the appointment and told me to come in. When I showed up for my appointment, Dr.Lebas looked at me and said, "I don't do that." You're telling me you can't put on a piece of paper that you're my doctor and that I have indeed been diagnosed with a mental illness? I demanded a refund on my co-pay (thankfully I got my money back) and left. When I asked her why she wouldn't do this for me, she had no real reason. Was I asking her to do anything illegal? No. Was I asking her to pretend that I was blind and I had a seeing eye dog? No. I have a mental illness and having my corgi with me helps me in social situations and my overall daily life. She even went as far as to suggest I get some random Doctor online to do it for me!!!! What?! Hahaha I've also had plenty of issues with refills not being able to be processed because she can't come to the phone or she claims she didn't give me a refill so that I'll have to come back and throw another bunch of cash at her. Nope. RUN FAR AWAY from this office. She needs to retire because she obviously doesn't care about helping people.

For someone with such experience and expertise, she's extremely down-to-earth and approachable. I came to Dr. Vause at a time of change in my life (at work, with family, and in my relationships), and my stress was surging. My depression and anxiety levels were becoming hard to manage, and I was turning to drugs and alcohol to cope. Dr. Vause helped me get through it. In addition to counseling, she guided me through some challenging but needed adjustments to my medication regimen. Every med suggestion was explained clearly, Dr. Vause answered all of my questions, and I knew what to expect in terms of effects and side-effects. I never felt as if pills were just being pushed my way; she really wanted me to participate in my own treatment and understand her reasoning. In addition to the excellent medication recommendations and adjustments, she is a wonderful therapist. Since seeing her, I have felt much better, and have experienced real improvements in my life. Her combination of innate sensitivity, compassion, and deep medical expertise is quite rare. I feel completely comfortable and secure in this relationship, and am fortunate to have found this exceptional doctor. I know I am cared for as a whole person, not just a bundle of problems, and there's nothing I hesitate to talk to Dr. Vause about. Having her in my life is itself therapeutic and a source of strength for me. Thank you Dr. Vause!

I asked for a referral (virtually every doctor has at least one other doctor they refer patients to) but she had NONE. She seemed completely unapologetic and I felt like I was simply wasting her time and she just wanted me to hang up. Obviously since she has no openings for new clients there is no harm to her business by posting this...only saving others from wasting their time. I am suicidal and need a doctor asap. But I don't need a doctor that lacks compassion and has no interest to help unless you happen to be an existing patient.
