Car door was severely damaged by the wash system. The manager, Gio, insisted the car wash did not damage the car, stating that it would have damaged every other car as well. When asked about the CCTV, he made an excus about the owner, Mark, being on vacation for two weeks, and being the only person with access to it. I have filed a claim with my insurance, and when I asked for the owner's contact information, Gio had a pretty bad attitude. I do not recommend using this car wash. read more

Sparkle Car Wash used to be my go-to, especially under the warm, attentive father-son ownership. I recommended it to friends and family for their spotless results. But my recent visit was a major letdown. The prices have gone up significantly - even compared to just a year ago - which naturally makes you assume the service has improved too. But my car still comes out looking like it wasn't washed/detailed -- dirt and dead bugs. Worse, this time, my mirrors and windows were coated in a greasy adhesive that hasn't come off - despite rain, Windex, and soap/scrubbing. It's not sap or anything natural - if it were, I imagine the entire car would be coated in this grimy residue, including the sunroof. But strangely, it's only on the side windows, front and rear glass, and the mirrors. Nowhere else. I paid for a full wash, which should include a thorough cleaning. Regardless of how much a customer pays at a car wash, the expectation is clear: the car should be clean (sole purpose of a car wash), and the customer service should be respectful and professional. Small business owners typically understand the importance of treating customers with care. Unfortunately, that was not the experience here. The way I was treated mirrored the condition my car was left in - dirty. When I went to pay, Gio was rude and dismissive. He spoke to me in another language while on speakerphone and became frustrated when I couldn't understand him and asked for clarification. That interaction alone was unprofessional, but it didn't end there. After noticing grime still covering my windows and mirrors, I called back to express my concerns. Gio not only dismissed them but told me there was nothing he could do and that I'd have to pay again if I wanted the issue addressed. This is unacceptable. Customers deserve better than being brushed off and treated this way. What's even more telling is how the owner responds to negative reviews online - it's a clear reflection of how they treat people. Starting replies with "first off" and immediately going into defense mode, blaming customers, or making rude and passive-aggressive remarks says a lot about the business's attitude toward accountability. At first, I considered returning to use the free full wash I have on my punch card, but after reading other low reviews and seeing how Mark, the owner, responds to them, I've decided I won't be going back. read more

I am a control freak about my interior--I prefer to clean it myself. When you pull in this car wash, there is a separate line on the left for "exterior only." I always have gone into that line, and every time, it's been an uncomfortable experience. They usually have the vacuum hose extended across this line for cleaning interiors of the cars on the right (full service), and they will ask you to pull forward while making a spectacle of what an inconvenience it is to move the hose. I know what I want: exterior wash with undercarriage and spray wax--and the employees get annoyed or simply don't understand, and their solution is to yell at me. I'm ordering from the giant menu posted right by their booth. I always tip generously and am courteous, but in return I get to feel anxious and berated. I actually had to ask an employee once to please not yell at me. If you don't want folks to pick exterior only, don't offer the option. Perhaps don't yell in the face of a woman as you stand outside her car, either. Which brings me to what led to this review--I can deal with the anxiety of a confrontation every time I go to the car wash if they did a good job. Bird poop, tree berries, and other stuff will not be removed by this wash, and your car might end up with permanent marks it didn't have beforehand. My hood now has a decent scratch from the second to last time I went, but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt--there had been a splat of bird poop there (remnants were still present), and I reasoned that maybe the poop had something abrasive, like seeds, that scratched the hood as it was washed off. But the last time I went, it actually was worse. The gentleman behind me had the same car, so we were talking cars. His was in the full service line, so it entered the wash behind mine. They actually stalled his manual car out trying to drive it into the car wash with both of us watching. When his car came out, the employee who was driving it to the drying area was excessively revving it and almost stalled it again. Meanwhile, I look over to my car, which was already parked and being dried by a short woman. I, myself, am a short woman, so no shade--but she opened my car doors and stood on the inside frame of the car to reach the roof. At least, that's what I thought she was doing. I wasn't thrilled, but I didn't want to cause trouble. She actually had stood on my leather seat in the backseat to reach the roof. I couldn't see that because she was on the far rear passenger side, and the car was facing forward. Her sneaker prints are visible because the residue from the tire dressing was on the bottom of her shoes and left very obvious, shiny marks. I discovered that the next day and was horrified. It's one thing to stand on the inside floor or frame, but really?! Thankfully, it came out with leather cleaner/polish, but that's insane that I had to clean my car BECAUSE it went to the car wash. So yeah. I could overlook the attitudes. I could deal with some hard-to-remove bird poop/tree berries not coming completely off. I cannot accept scratches or disrespecting people's vehicles. Two stars because there is one nice guy who works the desk and is professional. I would rather risk heat stroke (as I did today) and wash my car myself from now on than subject it to this place. read more

I had my car washed today at Sparkle car wash in Morris Plains NJ. I opted for the Ultimate wash. I put my key pob in the console where I keep my change. My mistake was I didn't check for my key pob before pulling off.I noticed when I got in the care that my radio station had been changed too. I got to next destination, no key pob but it was in the car because the car was dinging. I could not find my key pob. I drove all the way back to Sparkle. They found it luckily. This business has been around for a long time. there is a sense of community and I think people driving by, sense that. I think that, with the current increase in price, and the key factor of having a quick turnover in employees, there is a need for a more accorate attention to details when a vehicle get's washed and dried. especially the dry part! I washed my father car, my sister, and my wife and mine, all in several occasions. I arguably appreciate their effort to try, but I think that, they can do a lot better. they have been having some technical issues also on their air dryer roll on machinery. Not sure when they are planning to invest the right time in the right direction. I am sorry, but for over $30 for a wash called VIP, you do expect a VIP service. I tend to come for during my lunch break for a car wash of my QX60. They usually do a good job. They have a decent size wait room and a nice selection of car accessories to buy while you wait, oh and a clean bathroom. The staff is to the point and no small talk, pick your wash, pay and leave. I can appreciate the efficiency as I'm usually trying to be in and out. They are consistent with the wash, I get usually the most expensive or the one just under and I think they do a pretty good job at both. I will absolutely recommend them if you are in the area. read more

What a great experience! Being a mother of 3 young children my SUV is usually used for throwing goldfish on the floor and feet on the seats. When I pull up I immediately apologize for the work that will have to be done. The guys working there was SO NICE and asked if I needed help grabbing anything out instead of watching me struggle with jackets, kids and bags of all sorts. They asked what kind of wash is like and showed me where to pay. When I went to pay I met the owner, Mark. He asked me how my day was going and asked if it was my first time there. It wasn't but what I didn't know is that it's under new ownership. Makes sense why I was treated so kindly. I received a punch card and waited for my truck. When the truck was done they did a second and final inspection and it was spotless! Getting your vehicle cleaned is a priority at a car wash but being treated kindly is rare and much appreciated! read more

An okay car wash, I never leave this place and go "wow that looks nice", most of the time I have to remind myself that I'm not paying for my car to be detailed. But today I paid for the $30 wash, and asked that they hit the rims a little harder (bc I always leave here with dirty rims somehow). $30 wash is no different that the $19 one I usually get. Behind the tires (on the body) were still dirty. And still had some dirt on my hood. Definitely not the best car wash ,but not the worst. CUSTOMER BEWARE-I went there today (03/03/21) to get an ultimate car wash. My car came out with deep swirl scratches on top of trunk and paint missing and scratches on edge of the trunk. When I alerted the MGR to this problem he told me its because I must have done the damage when I removed snow from my car. That's totally crazy because my car has been in my garage during all snow storms It never had snow on it!!! When I had issues at other car washes, they all owned up to there mistake and took care of it. The MGR refused and still put the blame on me!!!I've been going there for the last 3 years. Awful experience. I went today to have the Supreme package. After going to pay I was info tend their credit card machine was down and it was cash only. I didn't have any cash on me and my car had already started. Their was no ATM on site either. The girl at the counter was extremely rude and had an attitude problem towards me. When I asked if we could call the owner to resolve the issue she told me he was driving and you shouldn't talk on the phone and drive. (Uh Bluetooth duh!). To be fair, when the owner arrived he was very nice and accommodating. Now for the product. My car was still dirty on the inside and out. Only 3 of the 4 Windows we clean. I have had my dogs in the back seat and their licks and what not were never wiped on the back right window. The car was still dirty inside and the outside was just as bad. There are white marks on my tire and driver side from something spilling that wasn't cleaned off. It's not a stain because it came off on other parts. The stars (and I wish I could give another half star) are for the guys who did a pretty good job and spent a significant amount of time on my truck after it emerged from the wash. Of course, I paid for the Five Star Treatment wash, the most premium wash so I expected the extra time, since it's not cheap! For the most part the men are polite, but I've seen more hustle at other car washes. Fortunately, it wasn't busy when I came here, but it seemed to take a little more time than I thought it should to drop my car off and get my ticket...c'mon ya'll, there was only one compact SUV in front of me- don't know what the hold up was but there seemed to be some serious drama going on with the lady's car mats haha. She was talking to the workers and seemed to be explaining something, though I can't imagine what on earth was going on with...car mats??? This was compounded by relatively slow moving staff. Anyway- I got my ticket and made my way to the cashier- yikes. She didn't say a word except to tell me my total. She seemed genuinely PO'd to be there. Angry expression, not so good vibes. That kind of customer service is unacceptable. I later saw her coming out of the bathroom with what looked like an electric toothbrush in her mouth. Seriously?! Bizarre and obviously very unprofessional. I didn't see any customers at the counter at that time but it shouldn't make a difference. For the price I paid for a wash, I should be doing cartwheels. My car looked and smelled good when it was ready. I don't really see why another visit would be worth my money, though, in light of the overall experience. A few days later, I opened up my Oakley sunglass case that was in the door of the car to find that the Oakley sunglasses had been taken from the case. This past week they did a terrible job washing my car, and when it came out of the wash, my front license plate was bent in half. When I pointed it out to a worker (apparently no one had noticed while drying) he shrugged, bent it part way back with his foot and walked away. To start, the place looks like a landfill when you arrive, seriously there is garbage and empty plastic bottles all over the place. I'm pretty sure there will be litigation after someone slips on a bottle and cracks their head open. Despite the trash barrels placed all around, it still looks like an accident waiting to happen. I've never left a car wash with bird poop still on the car until I went to Mikes. They actually towel dried over the poop, no one bothered to hit the spot with cleaner and remove it. I can't say how upset and unhappy I am with my service here. I went there to get my car wash as well as my interior. The interior result were disappointing. My rear view mirror has 5 new scratches on it and the dashboard was not even wipe down in the best way. It looks like they just wiped oil on top without dusting or vacuuming. Although the price is decent it's not worth it because of the damages that were done. When I approach them about it they had told me it was already there. I've never had any problems with the interior. The only spot I knew about was the seats from having a dog otherwise there shouldn't be any grease or scratches! read more

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. I would have given it a 0 if it were possible. I took my car there for the premium wash, inside and outside, only to notice when I got home my rear windshield wiper off had been ripped off. Most places offer a wiper cover to avoid this issue but this place does nothing of the sort. Not only that, but for the price you pay for a wash, your car does not come out looking much better than it went in. For over a month I was promised a call back from the manager and not once did he ever try and reach out to me. Finally, almost 2 months later, after calling nearly everyday and asking to speak to management, someone finally got back to me and I was repaid for the damage. Their level of detail in washing the cars isn't worth it. I recently came back from a road trip so I had bugs all over the front of the car and their machine didn't clean that area at all. I had to point out all the touch up spots so the guys can clean the front of the car and rear view mirrors. The guy didn't speak English either so it just made communicating so much harder. read more

I was scared to try it out because there are so many bad reviews but after seeing lines into the street at the other 2 Morristown car washes thought I would give it a try. They were super fast, I was in and out in under 10 minutes, there was hardly any waiting, and the price was pretty cheap. The carwash is decent, definitely not the best I've ever had. I will have to go home and wipe down more of the interior but for $15 all of the salt and crud from the outside of the car has been removed and f the floor mats are mostly clean. read more

Nothing negative to say, except that the guy spun my tires a little backing up to the finish line. Still, no big deal. It's a truck. No weight over the rear. Wet tires on blacktop are going to spin in a situation like that, so that doesn't warrant any less of a rating. The overall service was great! I got the Ultimate package. My truck came out nice and clean and they actually BRUSH the tire shine on, so it spreads evenly. Windows were clean and streak free! Great bang for your buck, in my opinion. Landscaping is beautiful, the inside is beautiful, and the cars come out sparkling! read more

WORST CAR WASH EVER. I was thinking on spending the 39 for the works, but decided to go with the custom package. I paid $19 bucks to have the worst wash in history, dust on the dashboard, rear view mirrors dirty, water dripping everywhere, smell of sweat in my car after the guys had been done. Just disgusting.
