I'll preface this by saying I've known Sung Dae since the VIP days. If you knew him then, you then know how hard working, fun, and passionate he is. I came across Sparkle Detail via Instagram. Go check it out and follow if you haven't yet. You can see his miraculous work @sparkle.detail100. I sent a message to book an appointment and he quickly responded and fit me in. I initially thought of going for a full detail but he being an honest person, told me I didn't need a full detail and a carwash should suffice. He didn't try to upsell me... which I can really appreciate. He quoted me the time (roughly hour) and got to working. He was doing this all by himself. Btw, if you have a tesla, don't forget to bring your card key because my dumb butt forgot and poor Sung had to keep coming back asking for access. He was super nice and patient about it. As promised, he had my car rolling out sparkling clean and even removed some scratches I had. Note, I've been renting out on turo and you just never know what condition people bring back the cars. Now I know a trusted detailer to take care of things and point out things I didn't even notice. Sparkle Detail is GREAT! This is an honest, local business that offers good quality service. I'm coming here from now on! GO TO SUNG (aka SD). I messaged him on Yelp with my situation and he was quick to respond with a quote for an interior detail. He saw me the SAME day. When I pulled into the shop, he came out and greeted me and helped me pull in. He asked me what happened: I had spilled a gallon of drinking water in my rear passenger footwell of my 6 month old car and I was nervous about mold and mildew, so I wanted an interior detail. Sung asked me a few follow up questions and inspected my car. He said that it was dry and that there was plastic sheeting underneath to prevent water from leaking into the battery. He said that he shampoos car carpets all the time and a gallon of water is nothing. He told me I was fine and I had nothing to worry about. To reassure me, he even got down on his knees and SMELLED my car carpet to make sure it didn't have mold. This is dedication y'all! He could have sold me an interior detail (which he quoted at a very good price of $120), but he DIDN'T. He was really honest and reassured me the car was fine. My car just had major engine work done and the car's interior was pretty smelly and grimy from the mechanic who had to drive the car as part of the work done. Exterior was pretty bad too from the non-stop rainstorms we had in the Bay Area. Sung did a great job cleaning everything perfectly. He shampooed all interior carpeted surfaces and hit the leather with cleaner and conditioner and now everything looks, feels, and smells super clean and better than new (I don't like the smell of new cars).
