The tint job came out with a lot of bubbles, visible debris trapped underneath, and uneven areas that looked rushed or poorly installed. When I reached out with questions and concerns about the quality, responses were extremely slow and communication was frustrating. Brought in my Carbon Black 2019 BMW X5 for a two-stage paint correction and 5-year ceramic coating. Backstory: the car had already been professionally corrected, but a dealership visit reintroduced swirls into the paint. I reached out to Devon, who assured me he could perform a proper multi-stage correction. Before handing him the keys, I told him I'm particular about my paintwork and asked if he was confident he could deliver that level of detail. He told me, "I got you, I'm your man." He later said he performed a three-stage correction, which should achieve 90-95% swirl removal. I picked up the car Sunday, 10/14. He pulled it outside for inspection and used a cleaning compound to remove coating high spots )something I've never seen during a final inspection). Every other professional shop I've used -- DoubleTake Auto Spa (Fremont), EXCLSV Motorsports (Martinez) -- allowed customers to inspect the car indoors under proper lighting. When I brought the car home and checked it under LED lighting, I found visible swirls, haze, and holograms across multiple panels -- clear signs of an incomplete or rushed process. For context, I've had my BMW M2, Tesla Model Y, and E53 X5 4.8is professionally corrected and coated, and I've personally detailed and coated my E83 X3 and Miata. I know what a proper multi-stage correction should look like...this was not it. I gave him every chance to set expectations realistically or decline the job. Instead, he promised top-tier results but delivered a mediocre finish. He offered to "fix it," but by that point, he had already lost my trust. After losing two full days without my car, I couldn't justify giving up more time or risking further damage. I requested a refund for the service that wasn't delivered as promised but was met with deflection. Instead he was asking for me to take more time out of my personal life to address something that should have been accomplished with the initial service. Trust and time are two things that I value most, but both were wasted here. If you care about your paint and expect professional standards, look elsewhere. read more

Had my brand new car tinted done here and was not satisfied at all. First time it was done, there were a lot of very noticeable particles/sand in the tint. We were offered a free re-do but it took a long time for that to be set-up, but the work was basically same, it probably had even more sand/particles the second time. We asked for a partial refund at least because the work was so poorly done, its as if it was not done professionally, and we were just ignored. read more

Meet Devon, real nice, sharp guy. His helper ( I forgot her name) did a ver poor job on my BMW Z3. The detail job was worse than poor. I believe if Devon , had he worked on it, he would have done a good job. The lady who did the job, left brake dust on several parts of my rim, the dashboard and side panels were not dressed at all. Dust in my vents and worse of all the film left on my windshield almost cost me my life on highway 280. Whatever she used on my windshield (like wax) was so thick, when the sun was shining, I couldn't see 5 feet in front of me for several seconds. I thought for sure I was going get hit or hit someone. I've been neglecting one of my cars for a while and finally had the time to start taking care of my SUV. I was shopping around for mobile car washers as the time I had basically warranted the services of needing someone to come to me. I found Cargenixs on Yelp and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Devon and he was very friendly and informative and upfront with the pricing and packages available for mobile car washes. He asked to follow-up with me in an hour to see if he can fit me in the same day. When he did follow-up he unfortunately I was not able to get a same-day appointment but he did however offer to send Saul the following day. When Saul arrived as scheduled, I met him outside and he explained to me the process and was courteous and professional. They accept all forms of payment from Apple Pay to Cash. He said he would send me a text once he was all finished and when he did, the second I took a step outside, I can see the shine on my car. He took off about 8 months worth of build-up and apologized for what he couldn't but seeing as I only payed for the basic package, I got exactly what I wanted. He let me know that I can make an appointment at their actual shop for clay bar treatment and paint correction to further make my car look like new. So I found out about these guys when they were at the Los Gatos location. I was so excited to find out that they are opening a location closer to my house. I've always had good experiences. I brought my car to them after coming back from a 300 mile road trip. Their steam cleaning was able to get off all of the dead bugs off of the front bumper of my Model Y. They've also got their in house line of cleaning products. I have a couple bottles of cleaners that I'm planning to use and will update my review once my car gets dirty again. read more

Devon did an amazing job: my car looks and smells like new! My reason for needing the interior thoroughly cleaned was that a VERY STINKY male mouse had gotten into the car and I wasn't able to catch it for three days. Mice are basically little poop and pee machines that leave trails of poop every few inches as they scurry around--utterly disgusting. And testosterone makes the urine particularly vile-smelling, so I had despaired of ever having a tolerable interior again. It took over two hours, but Devon vacuumed, shampooed, scrubbed, and sanitized every square inch of the interior and got the car so clean that one would never guess it had left the showroom. This guy is a miracle worker. Oh--and the rates are very reasonable for the quality of the work! Add to that, they come to you rather than the other way around, so you don't have to lose work time. Devon and his partner came to my house since I work from home. My doorbell wasn't working and Devon had knocked on the door. I was on a work call at the time, and it took me 10 min to realize they were outside in the heat. But Devon was still super polite! It took a little over 2 hrs to work on my car and they were very professional. My car was absolutely disgusting after enduring 3hr commutes daily for 5 years, countless road trips, and a messy toddler. Now my car is like new after interior detailing and exterior car wash. The seats, floors and floor mats were shampooed too! And the "CX-5" in my floor mat is actually visible now. My husband even said my car doesn't smell like old food any more ;). I first called to ask for a quote & ask them if I could do a walk in at 3pm. He said on the phone that it should be okay. I told them I need the car by 6pm. Please have it done by then. I stopped by the shop around 5pm asking if my car was not done. They never work on my car... He said I'm so sorry this has never happened in 5 years working here... When paying for services they charge me extra because he said he put an extra layer of clear coat but when on the phone he quoted me a different price... He then said he could do a rush job so then he did it quickly. He said if it was not touched up enough I can drop by again & get it re-worked. After a few days I noticed he did a half ass job. I reached out to them in a couple days asking if I could get re-work on Tuesday. He said it might be raining on Tuesday, He also said please send me a picture of your headlight, So I can give you more information if he could work on it. I texted him Sunday, Never got any response? Then the following Tuesday I stopped by the shop and they were closed... I then called the number asking if they were open today. He first sounded really friendly then and said the shop will be open in a bit. After when he ask what I need work on he seem not as friendly then blame me that he told me the shop was not open Tuesday. I had to wait the whole Tuesday until they called to get re-work. They text at 3pm in the middle of day saying if I'm available at 6pm & lie saying he trying call me & went to voicemail which I never got a phone call. Then around 5:30 pm he texted me saying he was running late and wouldn't be at the shop until 6:30pm. When getting to shop at 6:30 he then made me wait until like 6:45pm to get my headlight re-work on. I work in retail and this is really lousy customer service. I would not come back to this detail shop and I would not recommend coming to this detail shop since they have poor customer service and blame people & making you wait a whole day to make appointments & change appointments & making you wait even longer . I suggest you save your time and headache from this detail shop and find another shop that doesn't charge you for every little extra thing they do & make you an appointment. read more

He took me last minute and although I didn't expect a response so soon, he quoted me at like 230am [dont ask why I was up lol rather... I want to know why HE was awake so late ]. He said it was $55 for a wash and vacuum of my rav4 so I said sure? I don't remember how it went down but he basically said if I drove to him [in south sj] , he would give me a $10 discount. Sold. Fremont is a bit far from south sj, but I GUESSSS since there seems to be no good ones around Fremont that don't dinge or scrape your car. Got my car vacuumed and "washed" in 45 min. He was very efficient in what he was doing and that is a plus. It was a bit weird to see him not using a hose/bucket to clean my car..but w.e mixture he used, it made my car shiny. He just had a microfiber cloth, and a spray bottle. Crazy. You can prob tell but this is my first eco wash haha So I SHOULD be putting pics of before and after to show what a friggin good job he did...esp with the vacuum.......but sorry lol I can't bring myself to show how bad it was. hahaha....sorry. I asked if he could also clean the shift lever...because....it...was gross... and bless his soul he cleaned everything in the middle including my cup holders. yknow how overtime, crap just gets lodged into the edges and unless you REALLY go in and clean it with a flat/sharp edge, it won't come out? yeh he did that. ok it wasn't encrusted with super nasties but still. It is so friggin clean. every little crevice was spick and span. Did I mention that the vacuum job was incredible? lol Anyways I wanna knock half a star because I noticed as I was driving home, the beveled edges of my car exterior -mirror and windows, were a bit dirty. My mirror edges still had some water stains [not from his spray bottle] and the bottom of my windowshield had some crap on it [not bird poop] - not a big deal unless you are ocd . Would I come back? heck yeh. They did an amazing job and I didn't have to waste my time waiting in a huge line. Essentially show up when I schedule , get it cleaned, and boom I am on my way!
