We had a plumbing leak that caused the floor and wall damage. We were so stressed!! We found Sparkle restoration on Yelp. Cenmar came to our house the same day on a Saturday and we immediately knew we were in good hands. He was so knowledgeable, kind and what surprised us the most was his willingness to help as much as he can. He and his team (Efrain, Enrique, Andres, John) were all so helpful, friendly, punctual and professional. From the start to finish there wasnt any issues. Restoration and repair process were so smooth! Cenmar went above and beyond to help us and to finish the job on time. Job was actually finished 2 days earlier!! I will definitely use Sparkle again and will also refer them to friends and family! So grateful for their amazing work!! Thank you very much!!

Cenmar (owner) and his crew could not have been kinder, cleaner or more professional in their job management. Always available. He walked the job every day, discussing with my husband and I any issues or potential issues. With any remodel there are always hiccups but with the detailed estimate there were absolutely no surprises. Solid, thorough, ultra professional. What more can you ask for? Oh, let's see, very very responsible re clean up at the end of EVERY workday, on time, even early some days, and their timeline was spot on. We didn't have any prior damage, used their expertise to just do a remodel but I can't help but assume these guys can make a horrible experience like a flood be a distant memory. They prepped my home extensively for an upstairs bathroom remodel and were diligent about protecting my home, floors, carpeting etc. I'm thrilled with the results and he actually really listened to what we wanted and had some great ideas about things we didn't think of. Love the floor motion sensor lighting (can change colors and brightness!) which makes nighttime bathroom visits safer and way cooler. In summation, I'm already looking forward to our next project w Sparkle. You absolutely get what you pay for and Cenmar and his team were worth every penny. Money well spent. Almost forgot! Very diligent about masks and Co-Vid precautions!! Huge plus in this day and age!!!

Cenmar and his team are just awesome. We had mold damage in our bathroom and, after some rain, we were beginning to observe problems in our bedroom as well. We took this as a sign to get started on some planned renovations in these same areas. We shopped around for mold remediation services and decided to go with Sparkle Restoration since they can also do remodeling. Even though the process itself was painful (seven weeks of having to drive to a family member's house to shower!), Cenmar and his team did great work and we are ecstatic with the results. The mold remediation itself took approximately one week. The remodel took another six, but it would have been done earlier if we had not ordered some materials which took longer to ship. The crew (Jorge, Mario) briefed us every morning when they came in with the expected work to be done that day. The tiler (another Jorge) also did excellent work and everyone is impressed when I show them pictures! At the end of the day, the crew cleaned up and left as little of a mess as possible. Cenmar checked in with us regularly via email/text/calls to make sure we were happy with the progress throughout the time frame. Whenever we had a question or an issue, it was answered or remedied pretty quickly. Through this whole process, my fiance and I quickly realized we got ourselves into a fixer-upper situation (more of one than we originally thought). Examples include missing roof shingles and improperly installed/sealed windows that leaked during a rain storm. We were happy to have been able to rely on Cenmar and to have everything completed in such a solid timeline, even with additional work. There were a few items that we left to Cenmar's discretion to pick, because we became so overwhelmed by analysis paralysis. We'd selected a countertop that didn't work out in the end, and Cenmar and Jorge had a gorgeous custom countertop made for our vanity, and he selected a bathroom cabinet that went perfectly with the vanity. To sum things up, Cenmar and his team knocked it out of the park. I've already recommended Sparkle Restoration Services to a few friends & colleagues. This was a better experience than we could've ever hoped for as first-time homeowners.

This is truly as good as it gets folks. Right here....Cenmar and his Sparkle Restoration team are impeccable. My moms house flooded from an overflowing toilet with a valve malfunction. The entire house was a loss basically....All wood floors and 2' up the walls was DESTROYED. (See the pics of before and after in the picture post area/Wood floors warped, walls cut) I'm a take no prisoner type when it comes to business and I needed to protect my 78 year old mom in this process(AAA insurance claim/ THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE TO WORK WITH...Drop AAA if you have them, trust me. You don't want a claim with them vs. other insurance companies) I interviewed about 4 different contractors for the job and researched their reviews for a week straight. The "AAA assigned vendor" was a joke BTW...0 reviews anywhere and acted dumbfounded when I asked about that...Other vendors didn't give me the best feeling with a few good reviews. One guy I had to kick out within 3 min of him showing up. sometimes you just know right away.(attitude)..lol...There was also one that was sort of OK with great reviews but as soon as he found out AAA insurance was involved, refused the job even though I didn't offer it to him.(says a lot about AAA, right?...lol) From day one on site, Cenmar got FULLY involved and tackled the project HEAD ON without any hesitation in an EXTREEMLY professional manner. He even assured me with A 3 YEAR WARRENTY on all work preformed so I wasn't screwed into using the single vendor AAA tries to force on you.(Even though it is illegal for them to do so. They're very careful on how they pressure you on that point staying just inside the law on that pressure) Needless to say, Cenmars attitude and experience combined with the reviews across MULTIPLE websites like you see here made me confident in my choice of contractors. AAA tried screwing us on the cost of replacement multiple times requiring a long fight with their delays trying to keep the estimate below standard cost...The delays from them were insane. They took basically a month and a half to get us the final claim amounts including the ITEL report for the floor value. Enter Cenmar part 2....We can FINALLY start work!....Cenmar and his team got the work done QUICK QUICK QUICK! An ENTIRE 4 bedroom house including wood floors throughout, wall repairs, paint(That he also expertly helped us coordinate colors and layout)....again, look at the finished product in the pics area here on yelp. ***I have to give an additional shout out to Jorge here...main man on-site daily and one hell of a good guy. He addressed any concerns(which were few) that we had with Cenmar and IMMEDETELY got them handled. An absolute pleasure to work with. At this point all work is complete except a few touchup items that we haven't addressed yet since I've been so busy trying to get back my life...lol. I'm not sweating that or anything that might pop up in the next 3 years as I know reviews can be updated at any time and Cenmars history of reviews are impeccable everywhere.(Don't even fret if you have a little trouble getting initial contact like some over-complainers have done...Imagine how busy/in demand these guys are with these reviews...Their loss for not hanging there initially. Trust me. Once you meet with Cenmar and hire him, communication is 100% immediate for return calls if he doesn't answer and excellent.) We are EXTREEMLY SATISIFIED at this point and I, for sure, am not an easy man to please.....I hold myself to the highest standards possible for customer service for my clients so I expect a lot on jobs I get done for myself. CENMAR, and the entire team at SPARKLE RESTORATION exceeded those expectations. I don't give reviews like this lightly as I feel its a reputation of mine on the line as well.(Google my name if you care to...you'll see mine) A lot of my friends/family and work associates know me well and the amount of research I do and VERY often come to me for advice on all manner of things. So grateful for Janny and the Restoration 1 team! Our master…read morebathroom flooded and leaked down to the family room. I called Janny late Thursday night and her technician Marco came out early the next morning to assess the problems and figure out a solution. Roberto and the crew came out that same day and began work to dry and fix all the water damage. We have a new baby with respiratory issues and was very worried about tje situation. But, the guys did a great job isolating and containing the areas they were working on to avoid any dust and debris. They were all friendly, efficient, and very considerate to our needs. We really appreciate their professionalism. A few days later they did a final inspection to ensure there was no more moisture and by the end of the weekend everything was repaired as if nothing happened. The Restoration 1 team did an amazing job and so thankful for their quick and immediate response. They are truly the team to call when in need and highly recommend them Thank you so much to Janny and the Restoration 1 family!

JUNE 4TH, 2026 NOTE: Detailed update about Restoration1's untrustworthy communication…read more Their public response below just proves my point. So, this is what to look out for, and the receipts to prove it: 1. TWIST FACTS/CHANGE NARRATIVE: - 6/1 "At no point did our team request that you provide materials..." - 5/21 "Please feel free to forward over the hygienist report and any other information necessary to help generate the remediation estimate." (They did indeed ask for materials but are now saying they didn't.) ___ 2. DEFLECT/IGNORE THE ISSUE RAISED -Dana "I've sent 3 emails to your 1 email..." -Janny "...if you are unwilling to provide results..." -Dana "I'm not unwilling. You just never asked. Why did it take this long to tell me that?" (My issue is their lack of communication, but she deflects to a story about me refusing asbestos testing, when in fact that conversation never happened.) ___ 3. DELAYED COMMUNICATION/NON-RESPONSIVE -- 5/21 Janny: "Please feel free to forward over the hygienist report...". --5/21 Dana:" They're attached, along with link to a few pics." (NO response) --5/27 Dana: "Please get it back to me...at your earliest opportunity." (NO response) --6/1 Dana: "Janny, are you getting my messages?" (NO response) --6/1 Dana (via Yelp): "...the lack of communication is very frustrating. It worries me that this is an indicator to what it's likely working with Restoration1." --6/4 Janny Yelp response "When you contacted our office approximately 1 week later" (2 weeks--not 1--and 5 emails/messages later, I finally get a response) ___ 4. CONTRADICT THEMSELVES --Janny: "You expressed to us on May 22nd that you did not want to proceed with testing" --Then her review says "Following the intial appointment [May 22nd] our office...left you a VM. Unfortunately we were unable to connect" (Here she says we talked, but her review contradicts her own statement) ___ 5. MISINFORMED, ARGUMENTATIVE, AND ACCUSATORY LANGUAGE --Misinformed/Accusatory: "You expressed to us that you didn't want to proceed with testing your property" --Accusatory/Argumentative: "If you are unwilling to provide results...we cannot proceed to assist any further" (Janny's tone is starkly different from most vendors'. They'd likely pose as a question--"Are you willing to" "I believe you expressed", --not an accusation.) Because of this, I'm changing my 2-star review to 1 star. But to be fair, this is just my experience. They do have great reviews, so you may have a better experience (if you decide to use them). Below is the original rating before this update: ____________________________________________________________ 6/3/2026 This is the email that I sent to Restoration1: "Hi Janny, I've sent 3 emails to your 1 email. And your 1 email was asking for materials I already provided. I was so impressed with your estimator's expertise and willingness to answer all of my questions that I likely wanted to use Restoration1, but the lack of communication is very frustrating. It worries me that this is an indicator to what it's likely working with Restoration1. The estimator came out May 21st. It's June 1st. Can you tell me what's going on with my estimate?" Their utter lack of follow-through was incredibly frustrating because I was super impressed with the estimator's professionalism, friendliness, and expertise. 1. The estimator came out May 27. 2. After a week I reached out. 2. Janny responded by asking for docs I already sent 3. I gave it to her again. 4. Then crickets... 6. I emailed a 3rd time for updates. No response. 7. I emailed again + messaged on Yelp 8. They finally responded saying I had refused asbestos testing, which they require. 9. I said I never refused because nobody informed me until 3 weeks in. So they asked for docs already provided (why ask for docs if asbestos was an issue?), did nothing for 3 weeks, said I refused asbestos testing, which wasn't true, and that I would've agreed to do the testing had I been informed, Janny's response was judgmental and rude. And the overall communication--or lack thereof--I received from Janny was misinformed, argumentative, accusatory, and rude. Had they told me about the asbestos testing requirement I would have complied. But, if my experience thus far was any indication of how it would be working with them, I decided to pass. I think I saved myself a lot of headache. Buyer beware.

From there, Jim walked through exactly what the action plan was, and the crew was out within the next few days to formally start work. Customer service really went above and beyond, and they made sure that all the problems with the water damage was addressed. For almost 6 months of going back-and-forth with another company, We just couldn't get anything done. I needed a mold remediation company to help out our situation. I came across World Restoration and read so many wonderful reviews that I gave them a shot. It was by far the best experience. Keith was the main person I spoke with to set up a day for Jim to get out here and take a look at our situation. Keith also helped with giving us references for lead and Aspesos testing companies. He checked in on us so kindly to see if we had further questions. He was So friendly and helpful. Jim came out to our home and checked out the area that needed to get treated. He was also very friendly and explained everything they would need to do to get things done and completed. He was patient with me about all my questions. They were so patient with us as we needed to wait on some testing that we had to complete due to the year our home was built. Thankfully everything came out negative and the crew was scheduled to come out to our home. The crew that came with Jim were prompt, efficient and friendly. They really did a great job at taking care of the area to ensure the there were no leaks or mold growth behind our walls. Once the project was complete, I needed help finding a drywall company and Kieth referred me to a few. This company is so friendly and helpful and will explain to you what needs to be done, and will answer all your questions. They also have a great price! I strongly recommend World Restoration.

I would not use this company again…read more Our situation began as a water mitigation claim, which is already stressful for a homeowner, but the process quickly became disorganized. Communication was inconsistent, timelines changed, and we were told at various points that they were waiting on insurance coordination before work would proceed. The company ultimately chose not to complete the remediation, removed their equipment, and then billed for more days than the equipment was actually on site. When I attempted to ask questions and clarify the discrepancies, the interactions were not handled professionally. The verbal communication I experienced felt confrontational and dismissive rather than solution-oriented, which made an already difficult situation much worse. Everything was handled so unprofessionally. Because I needed to move forward with repairs and focus on my family, I paid the invoice to prevent further escalation while still disputing the charges. Homeowners going through a loss need clear information, accurate billing, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

What started out as a drip turned out to be a major leak that took 3 months to remediate and repair. I honestly did not feel any "construction" pains. They are the ULTIMATE BEST!

I contacted Active Restoration as soon as we had saw the water leak, it had just happened. It came…read morefrom an upstairs bathroom into an entry way door frame downstairs. They sent out a project manager first thing in the morning. He assessed it then they got started as soon as possible. The project manager explained what needed to be done and where the machines would need to be placed. The team came out and set up the equipment to start the drying process and had closed off the areas with plastic covering to contain it all. They came everyday to check progress. Once they assessed every area to make sure it was dry they were able to send out their own reconstruction team. They did a fantastic job of patching the areas up and matched our paint exactly. You can't tell anything had happened. Each team member that came out were very friendly and clean and answered my questions or was able to find out and respond back to me promptly. I was very pleased with the service and staff and transparent invoice and ease of payment. We'd definitely use them again in a heartbeat, hopefully won't need to, or would recommend them to everyone.

Eric was courteous, conscientious, patient, timely, clean, and cost effective. It was also great that Eric did inspection, the quoting, the job set up, ongoing inspections of the work, and was super responsive the entire time we were working with his team and him for the remdiation. Eric was the first company I called, yet he was the second to come and inspect the situation due to his availability - and once I met Eric, he explained what was needed, how the work was going to go, along with his confidence and commitment to making sure he wasn't rushing me or pushing us into a solution and services we didn't need - was the gold star for why we selected his company. There's nothing like working with a local company, and the owner directly, and a crew that you can tell he has groomed and coached for a long time on how to do a job correct, cleanly, and with as little "normal life" disruption as humanly possible given the circumstances. He's a stand up business owner, loves what he does, and treats your home and situation as it if was his own. Pricing is also very reasonable, and much less expensive than bigger and franchised remediation companies - which I know because I had another quote ahead of having Eric come and review and then quote our situation. I hope I never see Eric again, but if I do have water issues or problems - his cell phone is on my speed dial and text favorites!

But every visit had things that are just absolutely insane. *The first visit was the worst, the very first conversation I had with the worker in my house was to get confirmation that my home insurance claim was indeed approved before tearing up my kitchen floor boards. He told me he'd ask his boss, then told me his boss said yes. As I had not heard from the insurance it was approved I asked for an email from his boss to confirm. At that moment (after tearing out my floors) he back tracked and said no he never got confirmation and he just believed it'll be covered but couldn't confirm anything. What?? So you lied to me?? *Second from there on that visit, they tore out more floor boards and toe kicks than necessary. That morning I talked to plumbers about the leak to see what was damaged. They took out more then double what they should have, and destroyed the other floor boards in the process (I believe it's because they assumed they'd get the renovation contract after, but can't confirm). I had spare floor boards in my garage as it was recently renovated, they took out so much unnecessary boards and destroyed enough around it that my 3 full boxes now won't be enough to replace them. Now I have to get new floors all downstairs that won't match my floors upstairs. *Smaller things that day: They kept leaving the doors wide open with my cats (who like to run out) downstairs. I'd have happily put them upstairs if I was told, but I wasn't told anything until I lost my cat and saw that's what they were doing. Also the fact that they said they were done before taking out the most water damaged toe kicks in the kitchen and I had to ask them to do that. They were visibly soaked. *The second visit I was at work and my roommate was home. They were coming just to check the dryness of the walls. I came home to my pantry cabinet torn off the wall and in the garage. And all my food over the counter tops. My roommate told me they didn't know what was going on and was only asked if they could move some food in the cabinet around, then out of nowhere they were asking where they could put the cabinet they took off the wall. I don't know who wouldn't be upset at that. I would have rescheduled them to come out to do that, to give me a moment to make a spot to put it and put away my food. *And to top it off, they didn't mark the walls fully for the wall removal with the asbestos team.. everything is being pushed back because I need a second removal for a wall that was visibly damaged yet not marked to be removed There's so much more, but I'm just trying to mention the big things. Please be careful. I canceled my restoration with them because I was scared to have them enter my house with me home again.
