DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. They brought my initial delivery, never saw anything after that, then messed my bill up horribly and over charged me, they never fixed it. Then took an unauthorized payment out and haven't refunded my money. Tried canceling and all it says in pending. Every time I call they say they can't do anything and make me wait half an hour to talk to people who are supposedly higher but don't know what they're doing. They never return any calls. This is the worst water delivery company. We used Pureflo and had great experiences until they merged with this company. The new drivers rarely even ring the doorbell so we can ask them to bring the heavy water into the garage. Instead they leave it blocking the garage in front of our house and they drive away without ringing the doorbell. We have even specifically called on numerous occasions and the drivers continue this practice. They are so unprofessional! read more

OH.MY.GOSH. (for lack of a better phrase) this place is the WORST. I ordered water delivery service, they never showed up after I waited all day since they can't give you a decent time frame or dispatch their drivers for an eta. So I decided to just cancel service. After looking around and knowing Sparkletts is one of my favorite waters I decided to try again, AGAIN they never showed up after giving me a window of 7AM to 5pm - awesome. So I called in to explain what happened and all they could say was "I do apologize, you are rescheduled for Monday". So working in a route used business I understand things happen and I gave them 1 more chance. I waited around all day Monday, they never showed. Come Tuesday morning Im sitting outside having my coffee and see the Sparkletts truck on the street below me thinking, cool, maybe today is the day. NOPE they blew right past my house haha. Needless to say I hopped on the phone and canceled once more. They transferred me around in circles where I finally got in touch with some man who was INCREDIBLY rude. He spoke so fast I couldn't understand him and when I told him I couldn't understand him he was talking too fast he continued to just speak over me. He then proceeds to say "you understand that", now I think I have been pretty patient with this dude considering he sounds like a robot on high speed and before I lose my s*** on this guy I had to hang up. I have NO CLUE how this place stays in business but I HIGHLY HIGHLY do not recommend doing business with this company. waste of time and money! read more

I saw all of these negative reviews and I was really hoping I wouldn't have to leave one myself and that this company would prove me wrong, unfortunately this is not the case. All I want to do is order a new cooler and it took 3 different operators to get this done. They kept transferring me to a different person and each time I was on hold for about 15 minutes per transfer. I do love this water and the delivery drivers and customer service representatives are very nice so it is too bad that they can't figure out the phone situation. read more

Their customer service is non-existent. We've had Sparkletts for years. We like the taste of the water and so have put up with a few issues with them, this time is the worst. I talked to several people, all talking in circles and saying that the Oceanside manager isn't answering messages. They are in the business of selling water, right? Getting them to bring you some after their administrative and billing errors is a hassle beyond belief. If THEY mess up, why can't they throw a few bottles in a truck and run them out to you? Why? So I've been using sparkletts for over a year now and the water is good. But everything else sucks. The customer service sucks and the delivery drivers suck. If you live in Oceanside. My scheduled delivery date has been on mondays for the last year and all of sudden WITHOUT telling me, they decided to change my delivery date to Wednesday, THREE days after when I was expecting it. I call customer service on Monday to talk to them about it and they said that the Oceanside dispatch office would call me the next day. Wednesday comes and no water and no phone call. I call back and they said my date was changed again to Thursday, and still no phone call. The only reason I haven't canceled is because I like the water. But if something like this happens again. My rating is a ZERO!!!!! We had sparklers for 13 years until we received a separate bill for a delivery at an address we haven't lived at for 12 years. I called spoke with a couple of people there and they could not explain any of it to me. The last person I spoke with said they were going to file a dispute with the billing department. Well 3 weeks later I get a notice from a collection agency. Way to go sparkletts. Ohh I'm sorry DS water services. Tried to sign up online for water delivery because of the $50.00 off discount which makes the first month free. Well there is a hidden $50.00 fee you are never told about but your credit card is charged. I canceled service and signed up with Arrowhead because they are cheaper and the water dispenser is at no charge. I learned my lesson with dealing with Sparkletts, not a great way to get started with a customer to hide a $50.00 fee before service even starts. I recommend using a different water service that won't hide the actual costs as Sparkletts is just another big corporation hiding fees for the same service that other companies give you for less cost.. read more

I too got transferred over from PureFlo last year and it has not been good. Looking at all the similar reviews, they still cannot get their act together. I have been overcharged for bottles and cups. Naively, I had my account on auto-pay and assumed they were trustworthy. I mean, how hard is it to deliver water, count the numbers of bottles delivered and record it? In November, I noticed they charged me for 6 bottles and a sleeve of cups, when I only received 2 bottles, no cups. That's when I reviewed my past bills and called them about the overcharges. Customer Service rep was very nice and helpful. He noticed I had been overcharged several times and submitted for credits to my account. He said it would take a couple of weeks. I still have not received the credits and it happened again this month! I got charged when they didn't even show up! We had called them and they said they would deliver the bottles that they charged me the next day. It's been a few days and they still have not delivered. Now I have to spend my time calling Customer Service again! read more

I would like to be a fan because I think the water itself is okay, and the driver is nice, but the customer service, billing, and website if god forbid you need to make a change are awful. You can leave as many messages with customer service as you like (and you have to because they do not pick up the phone), NO ONE WILL EVER CALL YOU BACK. We were a customer of Pure Flo and things were fine after the buy out until recently. The machines were broken down I guess and they never contacted us but just went ahead and delivered 92 small non reusable water bottles without us knowing beforehand nor being given the option to simply decline service until the machines were working again. I refuse to use these and produce all the waste (even if they are recyclable it's a waste of energy and I'd rather use tap water). I put them out for them to take them back on our next water drop off and they left them so I called to complain and they told me the driver would return to pick them up, made it seem like it would be no problem to come back and get them, and then they sat at the bottom of our stairs for days... Really frustrated with their overall lack of service again and again, now that an issue has come up. I guess they're fine when things are going smoothly but if there is an issue don't expect much help. read more

I ordered Sparkletts through Costco promotion on mother's day. Well I was told with in 3 days that I would be contacted about my first delivery. Well a well went by and I never heard from any one. So I called and was told that they were sorry and that they would have some one delivery it that day. Well a gentleman called and I asked what time would he be coming he states he is not coming today but tomorrow. Informed him that I was told it would get done today because I will be out of town the next day. So I was scheduled for the following Friday for a am delivery. Well the day came and I still haven't heard from someone, so I called and was told that my delivery was scheduled for the 26th. I told them I was never informed of this or even agreed to it. They seem to do what they want when they want and not with the customer in mind. I have been given conflicting stories since I ordered this. Very very very poor customer service it shouldn't take this long for a delivery especially when they have a office right down the street from my house. If it is not delivered today I will be canceling my order. read more

I signed up for Sparklets through Costso 11 months ago, and we drink a lot of water in our family so it was a great deal! We have loved the service, price, water and dispenser. We THOUGHT that everything was great. I received a letter in the mail saying it was the third notice(I never received the first 2) saying that we were past due a payment and that if we didn't pay we would get a ding on our credit. That seemed wrong to me so I looked on my bank account (where I pay all my bills) and it said we had paid every month. When I called they said that the missed payment was from November (we just got the thing in September). I was looking at my bank account and I told them that we paid in November. The person on the phone said yes, the payment we paid in November was for October. Ok, well I also paid in December (you'd think that payment would go toward November). Well the person on the phone said that payment was for December. I don't know why the payments suddenly switched from paying for the previous month to paying for the current month, or why it took them almost a year to tell us that we owed them anything. I definely wouldn't recomend them to anyone. read more

This company is a joke. I had to call on more than 3 occasions about a missed or incorrect order. Also when my water cooler was leaking instead of servicing me a customer for 10 years they tried to get me to rent a new one. You are better off buying your own water or going with a new service. I have been with sparkletts for about a year through COSTCO and everything is good so far until I had a problem with my bill statement. I was overcharged with my bill and if I did not catch the error then I would had to pay it. The other issue is when you try to call the company for any issue for existing member, it takes about 30 minutes for a rep to answer but if you want to create a new account, they would answer the phone immediately. Will be cancelling the account soon. read more

Horrible customer service who make excuses. Since we were going to cancel and go with a different company, my husband put out the bottles with a note stating that we DONT want any more bottles. The day of our delivery, we both weren't home at the time but when I did come home, there were 2 new bottles on my porch. I tried calling only to be put on hold for 30 min or more each time. After 2 tries, I gave up since I had to tend to my kids. So today I cancelled with them and was told we won't get credited for the bottle we didn't use bc they will just pour it out anyway. I said I tried calling the company numerous times and couldn't get through. Her response, "Due to high call volumes we do our best to take care of everyone." Then adds, Ma'am if you would've called us we could've fix the problem." How can you fix the problem if I can't get through?!?!?! So happy we are done with this crap!! read more

I believe this is run under D&S Services. We decided to get service to alleviate all of the small plastic bottles. Intro price was great but we needed another bottle per month. Sometimes we needed 2 extra. Anyway, with the dispenser which is loud, the $28.00/Month charge soon became $51.00. That's a lot of plastic bottles. Called to cancel. If you're not ordering more or a new customer you are directed to a different option. Over the span of 3 phone calls to cancel and arrange the pick-up of their dispenser I was on hold for over an hour and 10 minutes. Driver missed the agreed upon pick-up day so here I sit again waiting for this unit to be recovered so I can be done with this horrible company. What is so funny is during the never ending hold their recording is talking about how valuable the customer is and the commitment to customer service. If the owners think that my time on hold is good customer service then they are completely off the mark. Back to cases of water!!! read more

This has got to be THE WORST company I have dealt with in a long time. I am incredibly unimpressed with their lack of access to customer service (despite their polite automated claims otherwise). Every time I call I'm on hold from no less than 14 minutes all the way to FORTY-FIVE! And unfortunately I have to call quite frequently because there nearly always seems to be a problem with either delivery or billing. There is no way to access online chat for questions, no way to cancel services online, and when I finally do speak with someone I am given the run around for why I am being charged extra fees for this and that. At one point I thought I was being red flagged for calling but now I realize this is how they operate! They are constantly botching up what they report they will do on the phone. I've been on hold this time for 27 minutes SO FAR, giving me plenty of time to write this review. I was finally able to cancel my service last month at which time and I made sure to confirm that I would not be charged again. I double checked to make sure and to my surprise I had received yet another bill! I am astonished at how difficult it has been to receive services from this company and cannot wait to be rid of them... tho they appear to make all of my attempts to do so increasingly difficult. If you want to save yourself hours of time in life, best stay away from this amazingly misleading company and find another! read more

Horrible customer service, was lied to multiple times about the service package i was getting and the amount i would pay, was told every time i would receive a call to narrow my wait time, never happened, was delivered wrong products even though when delivery man checked the invoice it showed what i was suppose to receive, he said he would return tomorrow with correct products, didn't show, no calls, i called them and they told me " oh he canceled the delivery but he will deliver tomorrow and he will call to narrow down time." that never happened and he showed up at 5:30 pm. I had to wait all day every time a delivery was made which was 3 times because they kept messing up my order. Every time i called it was a minimum 45 min wait and customer service was not helpful or nice. When i finally cancled my service after the first month the delivery man told me they dont make courtesy calls so he didnt know why they told me that and that he agreed with me that their customer service was horrible, he said they no longer care about the customer since they are a big company. Glad for his honesty but sad that any company would treat their customers like i was treated. Just buy yourself a water dispenser and get your own water, $99 dispenser and $1.25 to fill a 5 gallon jug, so much cheaper and don't have to deal with big careless companies. read more
