Horrible experience. I only used their services for a few months before the pandemic shut down my office. At the time I cancelled future deliveries. My account was also set to autopay, so imagine my surprise when over a year later I receive a request from a collections agency to pay a small amount of money. Sparkletts never attempted to contact me via email, phone, or regular mail. Instead they sent a balance that should have been paid automatically to collections. During a pandemic. Horrible customer service experience as well. My office will NOT be utilizing this service when we do return to the office. Save yourself time and grief (read other reviews!) and use another company. read more

UPDATE: Eric the manager from our area contacted me and credited me. He also assured me there will be no more issues with my deliveries. Pretty much if you have issues contact customer service and have them have the people who actually service your area try to help you because customer service is rude and useless. Eric was amazing and heard out my concerns and addressed them so for that I'm happy. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. I never had any issues with my deliveries in California. Ever since I moved to Arizona there has been constant changes with my delivery profile WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Management doesn't care. So since my lost post, Ricky, from Ds Services, got a hold of me and did a great job of getting my order delivered. Well, here again we are with a new delivery and once again it doesn't show up. So I get an email that it will be delivered the next day. I'll let you guess, boom again no delivery and no explanation. So today I call and speak with Kevin. I explain to him that I have called about 9 times in the past and was wondering if I can get the direct number to the people who actually do deliveries since I never get a call back. Not only does he say that he can't, which I totally understand, bust then he tells me it's due to COVID-19. WHAT! Seriously you are going to use this excuse, I've gotten we've changed drivers, to we've changed routs and days to now this. Wait it gets better. Kevin then tells me he's not calling to find out where my delivery is and that I signed a contract saying they don't have to deliver on time. Wholly crap! Water tastes great if you can actually get it delivered. Moved, called them to change service address three weeks before our move so we would have water there when we go to new house, and still do not have water. Have called multiple times, every time the rep says our water is going to be delivered "today", and it is never delivered. Cannot get supervisor/manager on phone to discuss issue. We had a long standing business account with Sparkletts for over 22 years. We had it set up as a monthly auto pay. I called them with an updated credit card number for our account in January, a few months later they notified me that our account was turned over to collections. I received no notice, no phone call. Sparkletts accounting dept. refused to even discuss or take any responsibility for never adding my new p-card number. We were forced to pay a collection agency hired by Sparkletts. The first time they were scheduled to show up actually happen two days later. Then they proceed to bring the wrong water, but tried to convince me that it was what I ordered, I ordered alkaline. They messed up the bill and never corrected it. The last straw was when I ordered four five gallon refills and they bring in two instead. But they tell me I got exactly what I asked for...... yea please avoid this company, no one has anything good to say about this company They have corrected their mistakes and now I move them from 1 star to three. I have had Sparkletts Water for well over a year now and I have to say they are one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. When you call customer service they are all extremely nice and will do anything to help you but it stops there. Every delivery the past 6 moths has been wrong in one way or another... Left it at the wrong house, delivered the wrong water, delivered it the wrong day, didn't take my empty bottles or as of lately, just don't show up. I went on to their site today to order a new dispenser and nowhere on their site is that possible. I have had enough of this company and after complaint after complaint I have still never talked to the route supervisor like I have requested for the last 6 moths. Canceled my account for a list of reasons, the biggest being that I keep getting billed for deliveries that never come. Additionally, I have gone to their app to skip deliveries a number of times and they still say "your delivery is coming". Received an email that they will begin charging a fee to use a credit card. Went online to change to a bank account and there is no way to remove the credit card on file. Currently, 25 minutes on hold to find out where to do this. It should be a simple process, but it isn't. Website sucks. Adding the fee to use a CC sucks. UPDATE 3-29-18 - I was contacted by Debra H from Sparkletts and she immediately took care of closing my account and ensuring I had a zero balance. Thank you so much! Help! I've been trying to cancel my service for over 6 months!! Up to that point I've been satisfied with their service. We bought a house in another state with a water filtration system so we no longer needed their service. We had the crock ( not the cooler) water dispenser and unfortunately it was lost in the move. I called and asked them to send me a bill for the cost of the crock so I could close the acct. I'm 100% willing to pay, but NO one seems to be able to help. Every time I'm told they will contact my local office to get the final bill and it never happens. They keep sending me bills for the crock rental and each time I told them I'm not paying rental fees for something I no longer have, they adjust the fee and say it will be taken care of. We are now 6 months later and I'm STILL getting rental bills. I am so tired of wasting my time calling to cancel the acct. Let's see: Sparkletts took twelve days to respond to an email complaining that the cooler has ceased to cool. That's unacceptable. That their response to my complaints amounted to a shrug and an indifferent 'oh, well' didn't improve my mood, or my opinion of their customer service. $3 a statement for the privilege of being sent a bill via US mail. That's their idea of going green, I suppose....green being the color of my three $1 bills, I think. Standard price for one five gallon bottle of water: $10, or pretty close to the market price of gasoline. Come to think of it, I can buy diet Coke, on deal, for less than that (don't believe me? An on-sale, 89 cent 2-liter bottle of soda comes to 1.3 cents per ounce; Sparkletts water comes to 1.56/cents per ounce). I consider that overpriced, but maybe I'm just overly frugal - read cheap. Thank you, Sparkletts, I've been a customer for many years, but at this point I'm going to one of your competitors. I'm taking a look at the Yelp ratings distribution for Sparkletts - apparently Yelp must be pretty near irrelevant, because no company with 129 one-star ratings, only 4 five-star, and around ten somewhere in between, should have any customers at all. read more

I should have read the reviews 1st! I'm getting older and the weight of a 40 pack of water per week was getting too heavy for me so I decided to get water delivered. They delivered the equipment and the 1st shipment came days earlier than expected but it was ok. June delivery was good then in July 2 of my orders were either delayed or never showed with NO explanation. I called both times and they said they were sending it. My July 29th never came -NO call or contact -customer service is nice enough but they rescheduled for today (August 3rd) and it still didn't show. I called and spoke with a nice person again stating they guarantee that it will come tomorrow-the funny thing is they didn't delay their bill! I ordered water service via a Costco partners program. it should be good, right? WRONG! It started off okay. I got a confirmation email that said someone would be contacting me within 3 business days to schedule the initial setup. Well, no one called me. At the end of the 3d day, I replied back to their email to cancel the order as I hadn't heard from anyone. That was on Tuesday. Today (Thursday), I got a reply email acknowledging the cancellation. Well, today I get home and the dispenser and 6 5-gallon bottles are on my doorstep. And, of course, no office is open to talk to anyone tonight. If they don't have excellent customer service at initiation of service, I won't count on decent customer service after the fact. I have also reported my experience to Costco. I have not had an on time delivery a single time with this company. By on time I mean the day they are supposed to be there, since they don't give you an actual time or window. They've redone the route multiple times and skipped a whole month of deliveries and still charged me for that month. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I am SO sick of this water delivery service. I blame entirely on their management and terrible technology! Instead of investing so much on the sales guys at Costco, this company needs to have better delivery system b/c customer services and delivery guys don't communicate at all. Again, bad technology and communications. For every delivery, its almost always something unpleasantly happened. Usually the number of water bottles were DIFFERENT from my request on their website. Sometimes 2 or 3 or 4 bottles were delivered when every routine should just be 2 bottles. Most of the time, I just wanna save my breath not to call the customer service again bc they are useless and nothing would change. Even as they said "oh okay, I will have the guy pick up the other bottles back today or tomorrow." Guess what, never happened! We have had nothing but issues with the equipment breaking and the company not wanting to pick it up. We have been calling for two weeks only to be told daily we have someone coming today to pick up. Well today comes and the equipment is still outside. We have explained we are moving and throwing the stuff away and the company tells us we'll be charged. Every rep claims they're calling and emailing this imaginary branch which no one can give us a number or address to so that we can drop it off..This has been the worst experience. We would rather stick to buying bottled water instead of having to deal with such incompetence. This is the worst company ever!! STAY AWAY!!!!!! They delivered my water and left it in the driveway of my house and people helped themselves to the water. They change the delivery dates every month. This month they never even delivered and charged my credit card for 10 cases. Last month they did not want to put the water in the house. I am 78 years old and they wanted me to carry the water. My family have water delivery service with sparklett since 2015. The service is not bad at this time. After two years, we asked sparklett stop delivery water to us at May 2017 because we will move out in July 2017. Since we stop the water delivery, the driver did not come to our unit in 4th floor to pick up the empty bottles. Even he is delivery bottles to my apt' first floor gym every other week. After seven phone calls between May 25th and July 2nd, the Houston Region manager canceled our account, and told us this is not their problem, they will not refund the bottles deposit, the account has been canceled, and we cannot keep calling them to ask a diver to pick up the bottles. We can not login the our account since July 19th. In the end, my family received a bill from sparklett which ask us to pay 82 dollars at January 2018 because sparklett said they ware delivery water to my old apt between July 2017 to January 2018. This is impassable because the apt at Houston has very strict regulations which does not allow anyone left 10 battles of water at the hallway. Update from 3/29, Sparkle's representative reach out, she inform me, further reviewed the billing on my account they agree to refund the 82 dollars. read more

Great tasting water!!! Sometimes there are glitches on changes made online but it's easily remedied with a phone call. The reps in customer service are very friendly and helpful!!! My route driver is very helpful and nicest guy! I was referred to them by my sister and was surprised there wasn't a referral program or discount or something. I was told by email I could get the new AquaCafe watering station and a few days later they told me by email I couldn't get it because I was signed up under the Costco membership. Yes, this is a huge let down on a promise they made to me and my family! The only reason I am with this company was  due to a merger with another water company I was with. I have been a valued water delivery customer for over 15+ year's. With the bulk of my membership with this company I am with now. They rented our company a water tower and it started with a slow leak that wasn't noticeable by us or their delivery guy, then over a holiday weekend it dumped 5 gal of water in the office.. ruined the only 3 year old floor at a cost of $1500 repair. They refuse to compensate us, told us they would give us $200 worth of free water service.. So their faulty rented equipment cost us $1200. & they refuse to compensate us.. Like everyone says. Water taste great. The billing is so messed up. They bill every 28 days. Why? It messes up the billing. You pay your bill, then you get another bill before last payment post, so you have to do the math on how much you actually owe. Then I tried to get a new water cooler because mine stopped working. They expected me to stay home the whole day waiting on the new cooler. I did take a half day and they never showed up. I called the next morning and they rescheduled me for the following day. I took another half day off of work, and still no one showed. I called 3 times the 2nd day and they kept assuring me it would be there by the end of the day. Never showed. I called and spoke to a manager the following day and she informed me they were out of stock of the coolers. A total of 6 phone calls to the company and no one could tell me that they were out of stock. I took a total of a day off of work, and the best they could do was a $15 credit. And just this week I ran out of water on Thursday, so i added a delivery for Friday. Again, no one showed up. The service with this company is good awful. I am going to send a complaint into Costco as well since I got my service through them. I find it hard to believe Costco would put up with this also. read more

I wish I can give them zero stars. Sparklett's customer service and billing department absolutely sucks. They're sales rep that came into my office to set us up lied completely to us. I have been charged for paper invoices when he promised they would email them to me with no charge. They never gave me credit for bottles picked up and on top of it, when they told me to wait for a revised bill, instead of being corrected they added late fees. In 3 months, I have received 4 bottles and my bill is up to $106. I think $25 a bottle is ridiculous. It wasn't until I called and yelled at them for 20 minutes that I think I got this fixed.
