Skipped five deliveries! They skipped two in a row!!! I do not recommend this company or Primo Water.

Had the service when we moved to Tucson. Thought we were getting quality water compared to the city of Tucson water until we had sparkletts water tested in comparison to the city tap water. The results were surprisingly not any better than the city water which is heavy in calcium and trace metal minerals. Buyer beware and don't waste your funds on sparkletts water that you may think is better. Instead, filter your water through your home appliances and change the filter more often for more control over your water quality. What a waste. And mostly a scam. read more

Next to impossible to get an actual service person on the phone and you will hold for a very long time, only to be told "sorry, nothing we can do". I have had this service for 10 years never had an issue till now. My older dispenser broke down after requesting a new one every positive experience I had with Sparkletts just went down the drain. Its been 2 weeks 5 phone calls and tons of condescending conversations with customer service reps that really could care less about how frustrating it is to have to beg a business for a service you pay for. This is not a review from a customer with a bad payment history I have been a good paying faithful customer for 10 years. If you're looking for efficiency, good customer service and rapid resolution to a problem you didn't cause I say dont go with this service its not worth the aggravation. read more

We had ordered Arrowhead water to be delivered every 2 weeks. Apparently they don't have it (even though the website allows it to be ordered). They only have Sparkletts purified water which is not alright. We do not want purified water, only spring water. Tucson's water tastes terrible even with double filtration, so we will continue purchasing Arrowhead spring water or drink out of our tap. read more

We have been receiving water service from Sparkletts/Primo Water for many years now. We chose this service because it was offered through Costco which is a company we have grown to trust. Initially, the customer service was excellent. In the last year or two it has drastically plummeted. First off, our water dispenser broke and the replacement is much worse as water bottles don't fit in the dispensing area and when it is getting low in water or just changed the water isn't cold which ends up being quite a bit of time. This wasn't an issue with the old dispenser. Additionally, our autopay card was recently compromised. They sent me an email and I updated the card on file at least a week or more before our next delivery. On my end, everything was resolved. We live in the desert and the temperatures are over 100 degrees throughout the summer. We rely on this water for outdoor sports and exercise in the scorching heat. We have a large household and regularly run through 9-10 bottles a month. We have been a consistent and reliable customer with excellent payment history. Our delivery driver came to our home and didn't bother notifying me he wasn't picking up or leaving any water bottles at our home this past Friday as our account was "locked" due to the compromised card issue, I had believed was resolved. When I asked him (at the neighbor's delivery) why he hadn't delivered after I had updated the card he said he would come back and deliver bottles and he lied and did not return. Now we are without water five days later and I waited on hold for a good 15 minutes to be told the next delivery wouldn't be until July 7th. This is the second time something like this has happened. I am looking to switch companies now as this is not acceptable customer service. Clearly, this company is not concerned about the treatment of it's customers. read more

Horrible Customer Service! I have been a customer with Sparkletts since 2022. I recently had to trade in my water dispenser because the old unit quit dispensing hot and cold water. The replacement unit dripped/leaked, and was very used. Called customer service immediately and was told a "new" unit would be delivered the next day. Never arrived. Customer service cancelled my delivery and never informed me. This has happened before with water deliveries. Customer service does nothing but tell one lie after another. . . Not to mention, you are put on hold for over 30 minutes every time you call customer service. I wouldn't recommend Sparkletts water to anyone! Look elsewhere. Water taste is great and prices are reasonable. I haven't made a final decision on which water to use, but I am leaning this way.

We had a water delivery this past Tuesday and the driver was to deliver a new water dispenser (ours had algae in the updraft tube). If I had not been home and brought the old dispenser out to the driver (he was totally unaware that we placed an order for a new dispenser) he would not have left one. After he left I got the new dispenser working just to notice that it leaked profusely from the inside of the unit, in addition there was a loose screw holding the drain plug cap and one missing (perhaps a returned unit??). I then called the next day(Wednesday) and requested another replacement, they said they would deliver it the next day (Thursday), sometime between 8-5! It was never delivered, in fact the driver just drove by my home at 6:30 at night and did not stop. So I was very much inconvenienced for an entire day. Today (Friday), I called customer service and they said it would be again delivered between the hours of 8-5, really!! I requested that the manager of the local operation call me, the customer service person said she was sending the note as we spoke, that was at 6:00 AM local time, 9:00 Florida time (where the customer service person was). It is now 10:30 local time, no call from the manager and no delivery as of yet. This totally shows me that this company has no concern for service or the customer. My delivery should have been a priority, obviously it is not. Nor is the inconvenience to me, it appears my time wasted is of no concern. read more

For over four years, we have received monthly delivery of water from sparklets, 5, 5 gallons of water have been delivered next to our garage. Door for the last four years. We have had different drivers with no issues..On Thursday August 22, a scheduled delivery was made, but this time the were left in the street next to our mailbox. The 5 empties were where they have always been, by the garage. I called and complained, customer service said it would be corrected Friday, August 23. They picked up the empty bottles and left the full next to my mail box. I again called to complain- I was told they couldn't get in my gate was locked...I have no gate anywhere on my property. I said if a gate, (that I don't have) was locked how did they get the empties...her reply was, "hum". Are companies have a difficult time hiring competent employees? read more

I started a new service with "primo" water a little over a month ago. The first two deliveries were great. The last one which was Monday Nov 18th, I received email notifications that 1) today was my delivery and 2) what I was to be charged. When I got home from running errands that evening, there had still been no delivery as the three empty GLASS bottles were still outside my front door. But I had received an email with an invoice that I was going to be charged double, 3 glass water containers plus 3 glass deposits. This was not right as the three empties were outside my door. Something didn't add up. I called that night to tell them that the water had yet to be delivered. Customer service could only tell me that if it had not yet been delivered that the delivery guy was still out. Next morning, nothing. But I got an email that my payment was declined. Well, it was declined because they were trying to charge me for an amount that I was not prepared for. An amount that should not have been attempted. I knew what the total SHOULD HAVE BEEN. they were charging double and then some. I called again. Explained that the water had not been delivered and if I had received an email with an invoice that either the delivery man had 1) lied, or 2) delivered to the wrong house. and 3) why had I not heard anything back. Why couldn't they contact the driver to find out what happened. Seems like a simple solution, right? After work and errands that had to be done. I drove home and drove down my street. Low and behold, I saw 3 glass water bottles in front of my neighbors front door. WOW. But how and why? the driver was NOT paying attention. According to previous invoices it had been the same driver. I know things happen but the glass containers are not cheap. This water is not cheap. The deposit for the glass bottle is $40 each. At 3 that is $120! To me that is HUGE!!! the 3 empties were right outside MY DOOR.. at the CORRECT house and today is the 3rd day, I haven't heard anything but they are still trying to get payment for the wrong delivery!! I could be horrible and say I never received the water, now could I, but I won't cause that isn't me. But I refuse to get charged for the deposits when the driver was in the wrong. read more

Originally we were paying for two jugs, eventually we went down to one, however when we went to put the jugs out they replaced them with two newly filled jugs? We ended up canceling months ago. NOW they are claiming we didn't pay - and we get a call they sent us to collections?! Trying to mess with people's credit. Don't bother ordering from sparkletts, better off buying from a store and not having to be entrapped in a contractual agreement of sorts, or whatever it is they're claiming you did or didn't do. I had used Sparklett/Primo Tucson AZ. for the last couple of months. This past Dec, I was to have 4 bottle delivery with 4 empty pick up. I received an email claiming my water was delivered, but it had not and my empties were still outside. Called the same day and the rep told me the driver would contact me. He didn't. Called next day and was assured my delivery would happen the following day. It wasn't'. Called again to tell them I was heading out of town for the holidays so will wait until next scheduled date. I then called to be assured I was credited for the 4 bottles I did not receive. They did not, and when I called again this week, my credit for that delivery was declined. Decided then and there to pay the bill and cancel the service. I will not do business with a company that rips off their customers because their people are not doing their job. Good luck trying to reach anyone with authority. It is a call center and you can be put on hold for 20 - 30 minutes - and then they transfer your call to keep on waiting. read more

Sparklers is to expensive we called to cancel our service they took a month to retrieve their equipment and they charged us for it they are a rip off company. I called before we canceled them to ask a question about our bill and a representative hung up on me because I got a little upset about the charges that's when we decided to stop our service. Absolutely hated. After constantly placing DoorDash and Uber eats orders from target, Walmart, and sprouts to get decent quality water delivered we decided to opt for something hassle free and high quality, or so they claim. I am currently paying over 140$ per month for SPRING water for only TWO people This tastes worse than tucson tap water. It leaves a horrible after taste. The water is fine, it's the delivery driver who is a complete and utter tool. I asked him to put on a mask. He left water right inside my door, went to his truck, and left! The next time I asked him to wear a mask, he said he didn't have one, so I gave him one. This week, the aggressive creep said, "you first!" I always wear a mask, so his aggression was just for show. He then proceeded to give me water with a different top label (red instead of blue). When I asked what the difference was, he told me I had an "attitude." In short, it's been a nightmare. ALL because the driver doesn't want to be told what to do by a woman. When I called to complain, apparently I spoke with the driver's boyfriend, as he sided completely with the abusive driver, going so far as to call him "handsome." I'd love to give Sparkletts zero stars if I could. I had a delivery scheduled... I put the bottles out the night before as usual. The next day, which was supposed to be my delivery day no delivery happened. I managed to call the 800 number before they had closed and was told that my delivery was rescheduled for the next day but they couldn't tell me why and I did not asked to get it rescheduled. The next day shows up and still again no water. I had even called earlier in the day and the customer service rep verified that yes I would be getting water that day. I called customer service the day of the second supposedly delivery and was informed that they would escalate it to a manager. With the weekend coming up and Sparkletts does not deliver over the weekend I know I will not be getting a response till at least Monday if at all. With all of the coronavirus chaos that is in our world most of the stores in our area are out of bottled water. And the ones that do have bottled water have raised the price is so high that it's ridiculous to afford. If you have a chance to get bottled water from a company stay away from this company because there is no customer in their customer service. read more

I refuse to pay my balance until they pick up and stop charging me to hold their things in my garage. Okay, to clarify I have not had any issues in the last year. But I still keep an eye on my deliveries and don't like the approx $3 "energy surcharge" BUT Sparkletts has been very receptive, by replying to my initial review and just now the route supervisor Ernie just called to make sure we were being treated well. They also habitually overcharge and modify your payment - without consent and then take months (if ever) to change it back. Called their 800 number for help? This company will not answer the phone and when I actually got through to someone to cancel my service she laughed at me and created a new account for me in my name! They did not come and pick up the water bottles or the cooler that I am desperately trying to give back to them. They indiscriminately increased my water delivery, they charge me for things I don't want or have not ordered, they are blocking letting me cancel service and even blocking letting me return empty bottles and the damn cooler. After my review, someone from corporate called and was very nice. We're not sure where in the process my wife's check for payment got lost but they explained that they left our full water because we still had water and had paid for it. The manager offered to take off the late charges, which was nice, not knowing if it was them or the Post Office that lost my wife's payment. I like paying online, she still likes paying by check for this reason. Still too expensive, in my opinion, for the convenience of delivered water, but if you get in early through Costco it's affordable until it's not. Sort of like cable TV when you sign up. read more

I am retracting my early review and writing an revised review. My earlier review was written after several hours over several days, including most of today, of dealing with the corporate call center based on the East coast. It was a multitude of worthless guarantees and "I don't know" responses that lead me to start the cancellation process for my account. Less than half an hour after hanging up with a manager at the call center, I received a call from Ernie, the local Regional manager for Southern Arizona. This was the first time in two weeks we were given an honest answer. If the call center had put us in touch with Ernie a week ago, this whole situation of frustration could have been avoided. Ernie was able to straighten things out and Luis, the driver who came to (finally) bring us water, were extremely helpful. I am revising my review to 4 stars because of the service from the local representatives. I cannot, in good conscience, give more than that because of the failings and shortcomings of the corporate call center. read more

The water tasted great, we use the spring water since we have a reverse osmosis system in the house. If they bring you the wrong water GOOD LUCK. They charged for the more expensive and 3 calls later we still have the wrong bottles sitting on the driveway. I would have at least expected a call from the local manager saying sorry it will take what ever for us to get there and change them out. I have had this company for a few years. It is great tasting water. The problem is their billing. It was fine for a long time, then they changed something. I have it set on autopay. I always seem to have a balance due. When I call they tell me I do not. Today I received an email stating my bill hasn't been paid and I must pay immediately. Umm, its autopay. If its not paid its because you are doing something stupid. I have spoken with them several times on the phone attempting to rectify the situation. I just made an $88 payment, and the website still shows I have a balance of $44. Again, when I call, they say no you're fine. I give up. I am going to fire them, and find another company. Oh and my Mother is having the same billing issues. They need to fire whomever does their billing and get someone competent. read more

It's surprising that Costco continues its partnership with a company that receives so many negative reviews. We learned about the Sparkletts delivery program from a salesman at our local Costco. Based on the information provided by the salesman, we decided to have their spring water delivered at a cost of $7.49 per 5-gallon container. There was no mention of additional fees, except for the $5.00 dollar deposit for each container. When you receive the first invoice, you learn that an energy service fee of $6.04 is charged for each delivery. Since we had three 5-gallon containers of spring water delivered, we ended up paying a total of $9.50 per container. I canceled any future deliveries. Of course, you have to pay the energy fee again when the containers are picked up. so that the end result is a cost of $11.50 per 5-gallon container. We also discovered that we had been charged for a delivery fee on a day when nothing had been picked up and nothing had been delivered. This charge was refunded after a phone call to the service department. You need to monitor your invoice for accuracy. When you call to cancel service, make sure that the service has actually been canceled. The first time that I called, the person that I talked to didn't cancel the service even though I explained that I was calling for that reason. Reputable companies are transparent about services and fees. That isn't the case with Sparkletts. read more

But the 1st red flag was when they didn't even make an effort to contact me. they called me literally one time, and I don't answer strange numbers. the only thing they did right is leave a voicemail. So I called them right back and no answer. I tried a few times for a few days and no one would answer or call me back. Then I found these reviews. Had set up regular Sparklet's water delivery service thru the rep at Costco. He was a wonderful professional to work with. A day later Sparklet's water delivery service called me and told me they do not deliver to the Summit area because the roads are so bad. So... Pima County charges us full property tax but does absolutely nothing to fix our roads. Pima County School busses also refuse to pick up children in the Summit area. However, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, Pemex Concrete, USPS, Republic Waste Service... and the list goes on and on all choose to drive the Summit area roads because it's good for their business. Over 6,000 people live in the Summit area and they spend money just like the rest of Tucson. Shame on Sparklet's Water delivery service shunning the Summit Area just because the roads are "not paved"! Lol... they even asked me if I had a friend who lived in another area of Tucson that they could deliver to and then I could drive to the friends house to pick up my water!! Ha ha... who freakin thinks like that!! What joke!!! read more

Let me start by saying the service from Sparkletts was not bad, it was the salesman who used deceptive practices to get a sale that irritated me, as if I would just never notice or shove it off to the side. Originally he stated it'd be $15 per month and when I received my bill it was about $38. I gave him a call, but this guy told me about 4 different prices and kept speeding through points in the conversation he didn't want me to pay attention to. I ended up cancelling rather than doing business with them, find better sales personnel who are honest! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A BUSINESS IN MY LIFE!!! My next step is to contact www.bbb.org. The headquarters is in Georgia, and they had 721 complaints last year overall. BUT IT SHOWS THEY DO DEAL WITH THE COMPLAINTS AND RESOLVE ISSUES. I contacted sales to set up my first water delivery experience. I thought it went well, until no one was contacting me for delivery or could give me a day and time. I was referred to the Customer Service Dept and left two messages for them to contact the local business and delivery driver so I can know when they'll be coming. I was told by the 2nd representative that my first message was never even sent. EVERY SINGLE TIME I SPOKE TO ANYONE IN ANY DEPT I let them know this water delivery was not just convenience, it was a necessity. I was still recovering from ankle surgery and couldn't lift cases of water and my friend just had a knee replacement. Things finally calmed down a little when I spoke to Russ, the delivery guy, but even he couldn't give me a straight answer for delivery for a bit. Eventually I got my order. Things continued to go wrong. And though I said I've never experienced water delivery before, and though I mentioned to everyone I've ever spoken to that I can't carry bottles, the next delivery with the incorrect amount was left on the porch. I received an automated message the day before, but couldn't get a hold of Russ to find out when I had to be there or what. NO ONE EXPLAINED ANYTHING TO ME even though I made it clear I've never had this. I had to roll 5 of the 5 gallon bottle in on a bum ankle where my bones weren't even healed. Also, no one could tell me how to pay my bill. Customer service said pay delivery. The alternate delivery guy said I'll get an email. When the Sparkletts survey was emailed to me, I had plenty to say. And the supervisor, John, called me regarding the survey. He did tell me how to set up an account and pay my bill. He was available the few times I called. I wanted to cancel the services, my friend and I can't carry the bottles at this time, as stated TO EVERYONE. I paid my bill, John had Russ contact me with a pick-up date. Russ never showed. I left 11 bottles and that machine on the porch in the windy and stormy area my friend lives in, and I'm back home in Cali. Russ never showed at the time he said he'd pick it up, nor has he called about it. Those bottles and cooler have taken up my friend's porch for the last 9 days. AND EVEN THOUGH I CANCELED SERVICE I JUST RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH A NEW BILL. This place is so frustrating and sales, customer service, and local Sparkletts don't communicate with each other and contradict each other constantly. WORST EXPERIENCE!
