I purchased a 5 gallon water jug here a couple years back and used to stop in to get my water here from time to time. I always remembered being helped by a kind, older gentleman. I wanted to try and support their local business instead of filling up at a grocery store or express station. Before stopping in this visit, I should have taken it as a sign that it wouldn't be as pleasant if an experience seeing that no one else was there getting water. I pull my car in and turn off the engine as instructed. It takes an only a few minutes for an older woman to come out to greet me. Since it had been a while since I'd been there, I simply asked how much it was per gallon. The woman helping me informs me it's $1.30/ gallon. I was alarmed by the high prices and she informs me that it's only a little more than what Walmart charges. I planned to thank her for the information and respectfully decline but before I can do so, she starts to belittle me and speaks to me as if I'm a child while explaining the water filtration process (which I declined to hear but she insisted on telling me in a condescending tone anyway). She continued to scoff at me and gave me the most judgemental looks throughout our interaction. I felt so uncomfortable and wanted to leave immediately. The convenience or "water quality" that Water Street Station has to offer is not worth putting up with the rude, condescending woman working there. I'd much rather take my money and go to a place where I can fill my 5 gallons of water myself, in silence. read more

Been a cust for 15 years. on Saturday the lady who worked the desk came out and yanked the hose out of my hand. Which in turn pulled the other hose I wasn't holding off the other tank and hit the ground. I politely said I had it under control, she told me YOU DO NOT! water is still gushing all over me, shorts and pockets and feet and shoes soaked. she walked away, no apology. as I'm fixing the error she made, the door is open to the office, she is complaining about me to the next customer paying. I bite my lip walk in and pay. she did not say one word. I said have a nice day. She glares at me. I will never use that place again. This after 15 yrs of patronage. read more

Paid $5 (plus tax) to refill my 5 gallon water. The claim that its better than the regular 1.50$ water refill you can get at Sprouts, Glacier vending machines, etc is bull. You can get the water tested and see that there's really no difference, it's just a placebo and an overall scam. MIND-BLOWING that people are wasting so much money of magic water. I sure feel like a total idiot. read more

I have never felt the need to write a review before this interaction, but this one was extremely upsetting. I had been to the water station before and was greeted by a nice and helpful lady. I came for a second time on a Sunday morning a few minutes before they opened. I knew that they hadn't opened yet so I was waiting respectfully until they opened. While I was waiting in my car, a different lady than the first walked out and started to open the machines. I was in her way so I politely asked if she would like me to move as I didn't want to be in the way. She replied " no but I wish you would turn your engine off so I wouldn't be breathing in the exhaust" in a very rude condescending tone. I just replied okay then shut my car off. She then proceeds to whisper under her breathe that they're not open yet. By this time it's 9:01am. It's not that I had to wait it's the disrespect from their employee that made me not want to go here anymore. After this interaction I left immediately and did not purchase anything. I would love to support this local business as they were so nice and helpful the first time, however the second interaction was just too off putting to go back. read more

I really like this place, and I like its water. I've been coming here for a couple of years. I would give them five stars, and everyone working here has always been nice...but I had a weird experience earlier tonight (meaning Sunday Feb 28)...so my first review is two stars. The woman running the place seemed impatient when I pulled up, 15 minutes before closing time. She came outside and told me and another person filling up: "Ok guys, we're closing in 15 minutes!" Her tone suggested that it was time to speed things up and be on our way. Filling my water jugs takes maybe 3-4 minutes. So her saying this was a little weird, but here's the main story: I walked into the store to pay (with ten minutes to go until closing time). I opened the door in what seemed to me to be a normal way. The woman said: "Great...now you've touched the glass on the door. That's going to leave fingerprints. I have to leave at closing time, and I purposely cleaned the fingerprints on the door earlier, so everything would be ready to go. Now I have to clean it again." She stared at me. "Uh, ok," I said. I guess she was technically right, in that one or two of my fingers were not on the metal bar, and did touch the glass of the door. "I have to leave right at closing time," she said, "and now I have to clean that door all over again." I paid, and while I was still in the store she got out a Windex bottle and a rag and started cleaning, while looking at me with a grim expression of 'you made me do this.' The staff here are nice. The water tastes good. However, I don't know if I would recommend this place. The water is more expensive than water dispensaries throughout Tucson, but doesn't really taste any different. Also, this place lacks 24/7 convenience of other dispensaries. The shop at this location sells jugs and other dispensing equipment, but it seems over priced. read more

With the water quality in Tucson, it is almost necessary to have bottle water to drink. This place allows you to fill up your water bottles similar to the vending machines near most supermarkets. I bought the water in bulk. They keep a card that keeps track of how much water I have used. The more water you buy, the less it costs per gallon. It is nice showing up, filling all my bottles (22 gallons at a time) and not paying anything (obviously I pre-paid already). read more

We have been going to Water Street Station for many, many years. They have the best water, the best service and exceptional prices, especially if you use one of the plans they have for savings as well as their punch card. You also have an automatic entry into a lottery to win free water each time you go. We have won this 3 times (again, going there a long time), but it makes it just that much more personal and special. read more

I moved from drinking fresh mountain well water to the city with the chlorine taste. My experience was great...friendly, courteous and helpful staff. I chose from a selection of crocks to place on a counter and several 2 gallon bottles. You can fill them yourself or have help. I love the 2 gallon sized bottle as I can lift it and get it onto the dispenser without any strain or difficulty. I am now drinking a lot more water because it tastes so good. I am protecting the environment by not using disposable water bottles or having bpa from the plastic bottles break down into my water. read more

We were looking for a source of good drinking water in Tucson. After checking with the home delivery companies and home filtering systems we found a better way. I am sure I am not the only person in Tucson that doesn't like the taste of tap water. This place has great water that goes through all sorts of filtration and what not. They offer a list with all the mineral contents and can give a far more detailed and educational experience than I can about the water we drink. I decided years ago that I was not going to contribute to the plastic bottle waste in this country so I went here and bought a few multi -gallon containers, a dispenser and a few nalgenes (reusable better than plastic water bottles). I drink good water, save money, and reduce trash all in one stop. Really you should try it. read more

Good water, but man it's expensive!!!! 85 cents a gallon when you have your own container is crazy. Only went here for the knew customer rate, which brought it down to 40 cents a gallon for the first 50 gallons. Since that has expired, I'll be going back to the $25 cents a gallon machines read more

Don't buy BPA free bottles from the Water Street Station, at Grant and Country Club. I paid $10 for a gallon bottle, maybe refilled it 5 to 6 times, and it developed a leak. When I went to take it back, they said "too bad," that their supplier doesn't warranty BPA free bottles anymore. I didn't drop it, kick it, or abuse it in anyway. They said "they're more fragile than glass," but I beg to differ. If I'd bought a glass one, I might still be able to use it. RIP OFF. You're better off with the old, traditional "number 7" polycarbonate bottles. Just don't leave them in the sun. read more

Staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. The water is the best I have ever tasted. The price packages are quite reasonable.
