I was leery of coming here because of the meh reviews, but I was quite happy with the bumper-to-bumper detailing job they did -- the car was sparkling for our long trip for Thanksgiving! They even managed to ameliorate some of the scratches on the back hatch! Plus, the polished surface and treated windshield was totally ready for the rain. ~ $250... but not having to crawl around the car doing it myself, one week after stomach surgery = priceless. For 35.99 for a car wash you would think they would least try to do a good job. They will barely wipe down the inside of the car and then the floor mats are still dirty. They will spend about four minutes on wiping your car down and move onto the next one. My advice would be for the money go to prime car wash. At least they take pride in their work. read more

It's been several years since I've had my van detailed. It was difficult for me to find a place that offered reasonably priced detailing. My sister told me of this location because she's almost been a life long resident of the metro area. Sparkling Image offers many detailing packages, the most options I've ever seen. I selected the most expensive Ultimate package because I wanted a thorough job. When I picked my vehicle, it looked brand new again. They opened the side sliding door so I could inspect the interior. They were proud of their work and deservedly so. The interior was spotless again. I had a few tests for them to see how thorough they were. They passed all of my little tests. I dropped off the van at 9 am and it was ready by noon. By the way they are open when it's raining. I've seen places close during rainy days. Also in their little "store" where they sell air fresheners and that sort of thing, they offer ceramic disks for your cup holders. These things are great. They absorb the sweating water from cups so they don't drip on you when you take a drink. I'll be returning here for my next detailing service. read more

I literally asked for a towel myself because that's how bad it was. They literally need to fire everyone there and just rehire people who would take the job more seriously. I was so excited to see Sparkling Image car wash when I needed to make a trip to Greenwood. I never get down that way. I bought the FS #1 Exterior and Interior wash for $31.00. This is a LOT of money for me to spend on a car wash. A LOT!! But I used to get my car washed, inside and out, when I worked in Castleton. Bought the Ultimate Interior Car Detail for $119. When I got home to assess how it looked, I was pretty disappointed. It looked very clean at face value- but details were definitely missed. Crumbs under the seat were missed, the back windowsill area was completely left untouched and there was hair and dust still back there, center console wasn't even opened because there was dog hair, etc. I have attached pictures of all this. I purchased the ultimate interior detail so that the "tough" areas could get clean, and they still aren't. The job they did- I could have done myself. Very frustrated. Update: Scott from Sparkling Image contacted me after I emailed and agreed to remedy the situation. I took my car back and they re-did everything. He was very wonderful to work with and made me happier. My car looks great now. I edited it to 3 stars instead of 2. I kept it at 3 since I still had to take time to get the job redone, but I still am very pleased! read more

Waited forty minutes to pay almost fifty dollars for services. I get it dog hair sucks but a little effort goes along way when repeat business is a must. Very unpleasant visit granted the appearance of understaffing was prevalent. Rear floor mat not even vacuumed or wiped with even a dirty cloth let alone clean one. Upsetting but my money spends everywhere. I still even had dirt on my side mirror. Perhaps treating customers with an ounce of caring would prevent hurried practices that lead to a no repeat customer . I will not be returning to this business. They allowed 7-8 cars to cut in front of our car during the process of vacuuming/driving the car into the car wash. This caused our wait to be incredibly long (over an hour). When I noticed all the cars in front of us in line were gone, I tried to politely address the issue with the staff at the front desk and the manager, the manager (over a walkie as she would not come out to talk to me) accused me of wanting to cut the line. I explained that all of the cars that were in front of us in line originally had been long gone. She did not care to listen to me. Stated the cars were exterior only. However, they were all getting vacuumed outside so that was not accurate. They appeared to be cars from a dealership so I suspect they gave them preferential treatment for that reason. This has not happened other times when I have utilized their services. On top of the severely lacking customer service, my car was not very clean when it got to me. Dirt on the windshield and throughout the car. For what they charge for a full wash that was disappointing. I will never utilize their services again. read more

The manager contacted me and had me bring my car back for a redo. SO it was taken care off. My used to go here when he worked for Uber to keep his truck clean. So I decided to go today we leave for vacation tonight. As you can see the vinyl area in front were hardly cleaned maybe just a half wipe. I guess I should have inspected it better. Took my car here yesterday for outside wash & interior cleaning. Spent about 32.00. Told the employee not to clean the very back (hatchback area) because I had stuff in there to drop off. Thought the front & back seat areas would be done extra well, since this should have helped make their job easier. Nope! After they got done I had to ask an employee to wipe out the open area under the radio (sticky crumbs, etc). Wish I would've looked the interior over better before I left. The doors inside weren't wiped off, the backseat wasn't wiped off, & the steering wheel was dirty still where the keys go in. There was even a fast food bag (paper trash) still under the passenger seat. (I had already thrown away some other paper trash myself before they got in the car. ) Spent 40 minutes doing stuff they should've done. I went here because the other car wash close by keeps raising prices. - Last visit was ok but this one was pretty bad. I live downtown, but I drive clear to Greenwood just for a car wash because THIS Sparkling Image is the best car wash around, even compared to the other Sparkling Images in the Indy Metro area. For a mere $21, you too can be driving a nice clean car, both inside and out. After blowing a kiss goodbye to your car and walk inside to hide behind the glass windows for safety, your car is attacked by people in blue jumpsuits. They vacuum the inside of your car (I always make sure I don't have a lot of clutter in it so they can get everywhere) and run the floor mats through a machine that beats the hell out of them. Fortunately, at the same time, it also beats the dirt out of them. Are you one of those people scared of driving your sweet little car through the big scary car wash all alone? Fear not! While watching from a safe distance, they drive it in for you and your car rides all by itself, getting doused with water and soap from every angle, including the underbody. If you don't trust your car to be alone, you can watch it through the windows and point your finger at it if it misbehaves. After going through the carwash, a blue jumpsuit appears from out of nowhere and jumps inside and drives it out to a group of people waiting to hand dry your precious little car, wash the inside and outside windows, polish the tires and rims, wipes everything down, and sprays your choice of car scents inside (I choose new car, which makes my 1970 Ford Pinto smell brand new!) Make sure you bring a few $1's to tip the army of workers who work to make sure your car looks great. The tip container is just outside the door while you wait on them to finish. Oh yeah, and save your receipt. It's good for $3 off your next wash, as long as it's within 2 weeks (and trust me, they check). See.. already saving you money! read more

I just paid $24 dollars for a "premium" car wash - inside and out- and I open my door to this. This is ridiculous! Did they even vacuum?! There was also dirt in my side of my door. I don't think they vacuum or wiped that either. This is my wife's favorite place to get her car washed, I've only been here one other time than today. I have to say that I was very happy with the experience today! I usually just go to Mikes but I might start coming here more. Sure, the prices are a little higher but they detail your car, like wipe off the dash, sweep the floors, add air freshener, etc. They did a great job and made my car look great! I had a $5 off coupon for the $25 deal and the nice lady running the cash register said it came up to $15 cause the computer was messed up or something, so I got $10 off instead!!! Win for me! I had my van detailed last week and even after we emptied it the floors were trashed! Just paid $29 for a wash that included the underbody but it's clear that the under body was not done. There Is still water spots everywhere where they are supposed to wipe down. There's film all over the hood. My advice is to pay attention to black cars. I work for a washing company myself and this kind of thing would never fly. Update: I was first contacted by the regional manager apologizing for the locations mistake and that he would give me a re-wash on the jeep then I got a call from Scott Yorn who is the manager at the location saying that if I come back that he would fix the issue. Scott was very nice and diligent to my situation and fixed everything that needed to be fixed. The undercarriage looks great and the interior looks good and there is no film on my hood. I just wish for the next time if anytime I go again that it would look that it'll look the way it's intended to look the first time. I'm very upset with this Company!!! I've been a loyal Customer, paying $54 dollars a month for the #1 Unlimited Service, for about 6 years now; usually only getting my car washed about once a month...maybe sometimes more. They usually do a Great Job, but one has to watch them closely, to make sure they do everything correctly!!! But, here is what happened, that infuriates me...My car was hit by a Snow Plow Truck, and it must go get repaired and Painted, the whole front of the car. So, the special Paint that is used, it has to cure for 90 days, before it can go through a Carwash. Today is the 19th, and my credit Card should be charged on the 20th, so I called to let them know and BUT they submitted my credit card one day early; charging me $54 a day early...they can't reverse it!!!!!! But, they told me, I could still use the Carwash UNTIL April 20th... I don't have a car to use it with!!!!!! How stupid!!!! I explained about the 90 days AGAIN and she said she understand, but I can use their service until next month...HOW?!?!?!?!?!? Dumbasses!!!! Pisses me off that A) they charged my card early....B) I can't use the service, but she tells me, I still have use for the next month!!!! HOW STUPID IS THAT?!?!?!?!? read more

Ah ok job to pretty bad job most the time. I should try somewhere else. The sweep guys do a good job but the people on the finish end where they clean your windows and interior are mostly horrible! Inside windshield looks half assed cleaned and so does the dashboard. They'll spray air freshener and get it all over the plastic panels and will stain. Not the worst but certainly not the best car wash. Went back to try them yesterday, exact same issues. Swept fine HORRIBLE window washing. $23 for a crappy job.
