David is a fantastic manager of this car wash! I had an excellent experience today as he went above and beyond to get my wheels clean(brake dust is very tough to get off my wheels). The customer service was outstanding! And for $20 bucks for a wash and also hit the wheels? Very good bargain! read more

I paid $26 for my left side mirror to almost break off, part of my windshield wiper ACTUALLY breaking off AND to top it off my car looks terrible!! photos are from the next day so some pollen is back on but there is so much residue from the car not being rinsed or dried properly. they fixed my wiper but offered no refund or anything for my experience. avoid this place !! read more

Quality is horrible and prices are HIGH. This place was great before it became part of a chain. The only goal they have is profit over quality. It's always VERY grid locked and they put zero effort into the interior for the express wash. I went there the other day and I paid $45 for exterior and interior. I can't see out of the windshield because there's a glare and it doesn't look they even vacuumed. The outside is covered in dried spots. Never again. read more

On Sunday 8-24-25 came to the carwash to clean my car and after I was told I'm al set the front windshield was not even touched. I'm absolutely so disappointed I've been your client for over 25 plus years being an unlimited customer for a long time and I'm still having issues that is so easy to fix. why am I paying for it and not clean. why would you start the cars after me when you haven't checked if my car is completed or not. why supervisors are not making sure before the staff start to another car. i as the customer took the rag and cleaned it myself and after i mentioned to the supervisor Dany Tahada instead to say sorry and I'll take care of it, he looked at me and responded with Okay. this has been the worst service ever. the man that works so hard is Pablo he is the best and unfortunately, he wasn't there yesterday. after 25 plus years you obviously don't care about your customers, so I get that and looking for another car wash to go to. this site its going down so bad and something needs to be done, or you will lose a lot of clients if you haven't already. read more

Sparkling Image Car Wash has amazing customer service. The manager, David, is amazing. We took my wife's SUV to Reading, MA to get a "Bumper to Bumper" detail. We left the facility and arranged to pick up our vehicle when the detailing was finished. We were gone about 5 minutes and we received a phone call from David. While vacuuming the vehicle they found a wallet under the front seat which belonged to my wife's brother. We had no idea the wallet was under the seat. David explained he opened the wallet to verify the owner of the wallet. Of course my brother in law's name didn't match my name. David asked pertinent questions to determine the owner of the wallet. Our relationship to the wallet was verified and David told us to come back to pick it up. David is a most valuable manager of Sparkling Image and went above and beyond to get the wallet back to us. SLOW epitomizes the service at this car wash. Confused is another term I would use to describe this car wash . Sure, you are running your car through a mechanical wash tunnel however, the management of the workers here is almost nonexistent and that's where it all falls apart . The workers operate their own pace and the management just stands around and does nothing to hasten the pace or ensure the quality. The ownership of this location also owns a car wash in Lynn and one in Malden and those two locations are far better than this location. Don't show up at 8 o'clock expecting to get a wash. Despite the fact, they state their operation hours are 8 AM to 6 PM, they start getting ready at 8 AM. Therefore you'll watch as they pull out their hoses, get their computer fired up, figure out what they're doing because they clearly forgot from the day previous. I'm giving it two stars because the mechanical aspect of the operation, the tunnel itself does an OK job. So if you just want an exterior wash and then go it's fine but if you're looking for a quality full service car wash this really isn't the place read more

My rear tire was low, he filled it and he was concerned that if I get another error message for low tire pressure, to take it in to be checked immediately. David also made certain that I was happy with the service I received and personally looked inside my car to confirm. I've only washed my car once in the past year, it has dog hair & dust everywhere ... they did a good job cleaning it inside out since I had so much crap in it. Missed a few spots and I asked them to wipe it down with no issue. If you want a super thorough cleaning then get it detailed but the $40 inside & outside is perfect for what I need. I have been using Sparkling Image car wash in Reading, Massachusetts on route 28 for many years because they do a decent job. For the last year or so every time I stop to get my car washed the people that check me in and take my money pitch me to use their membership where I pay one price monthly and can come back for full service as many times as I want. Having recently bought a dark colored vehicle I decided to take them up on their offer also noticing that had recent raises their prices, AGAIN! Two weeks ago I went back, they scanned the bar code they placed on my front widow and I proceeded with the wash, vacuum and mini detail they do without issue or problem. ONE week ago I returned to get my car serviced at their car wash again. This time the same person that I purchased their membership package from tells me that my package ONLY includes the car wash and that to vacuum my car and to clean my widows like they have been doing for well over 10 years will cost me $10 EXTRA BECAUSE I have their membership. That IS NOT what I was told when I finally signed up for their monthly membership and is NOT what they practiced the first time i made use of the money saving deal they told me I was getting, ONLY after my 2nd visit within the month I signed up for their membership was I told the vacuum and widows would be extra. I think that little bar code keeps track of how many times you use it and they change the price accordingly to their advantage. I promptly CANCELLED their very MISLEADING membership and as I was LIED to about the service I could expect from having a membership with them. I live in Wilmington and drive to Reading to use sparkling Image out of loyalty as much as anything else. It became obvious right now that my loyalty to their business meant nothing to them. As result Sparkling Image not only loses my vehicle, but my wife's vehicle, her mother's vehicle, her two sister's vehicle and all of my brothers vehicles. I'm sure they could care less by the way they acted to me but after reading this perhaps losing YOUR business too may teach them not to lie to their LOYAL customers! Said and hour. Everyone standing around. Took almost 2 hours. I was the first car in and multiple cars were done before mine.

I had my car washed and when I arrived home, I saw quite a bit of dirt still on it and water that was not dried that left spots on hood and mirrors. I went back to complain and the manager was extremely helpful and offered me my money back or free car washes in the future. Hopefully, they will do a better job the next time... I got a flat tire driving into the car wash - missed the guide rail and "jumped" off of it. I didn't wait for someone to help me guide the car in, so totally my fault!. Anyway- the guys there were fantastic! They changed the tires and helped move back out and then through the car wash so that I didn't get another flat while reversing out. Loved them when they were Simoniz. Agree with other reviewers, the quality isn't the same and their prices have drastically increased. The workers are great, but if they are busy you definitely don't get the same service as when they don't have as many customers. Went there today for the second time. The exterior was fine but the inside was not cleaned well. Paid $10 extra for armor all. When I got home they barely did it. They missed most of the surfaces. The interior surfaces were still covered in dust and dirt. Never again. read more

I booked my appointment in advance and was told 60-90 minutes with an appointment. I get there 10 minutes before my time slot and I'm told 2 hours because they're "busy". I pointed out items that I wanted them to pay attention to. I return 2 hrs later to find my car in the "done" area and proceed to get my keys. At first glance, it looked shiny- and that was about it. Shiny tires, lint all over the place from wiping, yet not removing the dirt, vacuuming was random, dried soapy water spots on the windows with dirty spots that were missed, vents weren't even touched- still dirty and dusty, the area in the rear that I requested be addressed wasn't even looked at, wet spots on the interior seats, none of the seat crevices were cleaned and the interior smelled- and still smells- like some nasty petroleum product- need I go on? I asked to speak to the manager and the first person sent someone out who said he was going to fix each spot like he was doing me a favor and who actually wasn't the manager, then finally when I said that I wanted my money back, they tell me they'll fix everything. Why wasn't this all "fixed" in the more than 2 hours that they had my vehicle? Then they want to still charge me for a $21 car wash which wasn't even rinsed or wiped. Yes, person #3 refunded me my $130, but still wants to make it right? Too little, Too late!! This place is a joke since they changed management. Don't waste your money or time. A ten yr old neighborhood kid could have done a better job. Why call it detailing when no details listed in the package description other than the shiny tires were addressed and delivered in their entirety? Stay away from this place. read more
