I used to come here religiously then Lucee left and I didn't like the service anymore. I've left them multiple 5 star reviews and always recommend them. I just came back today and got a fill - specifically requested for no polish because I have my family member doing it for my wedding reception this weekend. Somehow the fill was still $50 when I used to get full sets with designs starting at $50. When I asked for clarification I just got told "yeah that's right." I also got a pedicure but I wasn't asked what type, just assumed it was the basic one. Yes it was very nice she did great, I also got french tips. But found out that was $62 and again when asking just got told "yeah that's right." Just a bit frustrating when it doesn't seem like the service was extra or "luxury" per se. Yes I understand it's been awhile as well and inflation is a very real thing. I was excited to come back and Andy was sweet and did a great job. I just can't understand the pricing when at other places it's $40 for a pedicure and $35/40 for fills for the same services. There's no pricing online so maybe that's my fault for not asking ahead of time. Definitely feels like a bit of a rip off and I don't think I'll be back anymore unfortunately. read more

We picked this salon based on its 4.4 star reviews. Let me just start with all of the positive comments: Parking was great. We arrived at around 2 pm, it got a little busier after I had to come back to get my nails fixed. The staff was very kind and we had some nice conversations. Environment was spacious and there was no wait time. Amy did gel nails for my friend and Henry did her gel pedicure. She was happy with the results and they did a great job! Speed and quality gets thumbs up for them. My experience was entirely different. Vy did my gel manicure and I asked if she could sand down my vertical ridges on my nails. She said there's nothing I can do but the gel would cover it anyways. Interesting... because that wasn't my experience with other nail techs. I noticed she applied a few coats but the edges were noticeably messy. When she started applying lotion to my hands, I realized she was finished but the results were unacceptable. I showed my friend sitting next to me and she didn't have the guts to tell me until we left. Vy noticed I wasn't happy after I asked her to take a look at the edge of my nails. There was so many areas of missing paint and she began using the drill to sand down the top coat. After that she tried to fix it by repainting another coat over it. I felt terrible even bringing it up so I kept apologizing and thanking her for the extra work. However, her response was a bit concerning: she said, "It's okay, I probably couldn't see." All of my nails? That definitely made me wonder why I would ever come back here. By the time my nails were done with Vy, my friend's gel pedicure and gel manicure were complete. It took about an hour for both of us. After we leave, I see my nails in broad daylight and it magnifies the flaws even more. I sent a photo to my step-sister who owns a nail salon and she told me to go back and have them fixed because it looked terrible. I called them back and Annie picked up the phone. Annie said I could text the photo to them and told me they'd fix it. I come back 30 minutes later and get another nail tech by the name of Andy. Andy looked my nails and had no words, he just apologized. He seated me right away and said they'd do another color for me no problem. At this point I didn't want gel because I didn't want to ever have to come back to this salon again. I was mortified. I asked them to remove the gel and just give me a clear coat but they insisted gel - I had to tell them 3 times I didn't want it. I told him it was my first time here but the difference with Andy was: he delivered high quality work and had a great attitude to be resolving my issues. 10 years of experience and I felt like he actually cared. The ridges on my nails I mentioned to Vy were addressed immediately without me even having to ask. Andy used the drill and sanded it down and also filed my nails. All of these little steps were missed the first time. My family owns a couple of nail salons in the east coast. I can't believe I had to text them these photos. The worst part was I felt ashamed for even having to call the store to complain and come back. Despite my first results, they handled the problem with grace and the customer service of Annie and Andy was appreciated. I basically paid for gel manicure plus tip to get my gel polish removed. I called on a Sunday afternoon to see if they had availability for a walk-in pedicure and she said yes. I arrived just about five minutes later and was immediately taken to select my polish color and start my pedicure. I upgraded --I believe it was called the luxury pedicure, total cost was $60. It lasted an hour and a half and was excellent. The salon seemed very clean and quiet which I appreciated. I have frequented this nail salon over the years and was vastly disappointed with my most recent experience and won't be returning. I made an appointment to treat my three daughters to a nail day. My two older daughters I let the person over the phone know they wanted very intricate designs and my little one was just getting a pedicure. When we arrived to the appointment one of the ladies was very rude. She said we had booked "color change nail" appointments and they didn't have enough staff to do two sets of nail designs so each kid had to be worked on one at a time. It's been years since I've had a full set of acrylics. The quality's of the set Andy did for me has been unmatched. I just had a fill and am just as happy. I was so happy I recommended them to my 93 year old grandmother who used to love getting her nails done. Unfortunately, since her nail tech retired some years ago she has not found anyone up to her expectations. She had her full set done today. To say she's ecstatic would be a massive understatement. This is one of those places I am not sure why I have not reviewed yet. Maybe I am just too relaxed to review after visiting? I am pretty basic: a gel manicure and pedicure with some basic add-ons (I forget the exact names of the ones I request, but the pedicure comes with a lotion/scrub set of your choice, paraffin wax, hot towels, and hot stones, which are all delightful - it is a middle-of-the-road pedicure in terms of pricing and what's included). The prices are much more affordable with much more included than some places in the area (there is definitely a lot of competition, but I always end up here). The vibe is very relaxed, and everyone is so friendly. I love the relaxing music they play (usually soft covers of pop songs). I have brought many people here, and no one has been disappointed in the service or quality of their nails. Even my dad, who never thought he would get a pedicure, has added this to his routine because he feels comfortable and welcomed here. I do have to give a special shout-out to Fi and Andy. Fi usually does my pedicures, and she always does a lovely job with my feet leaving much smoother than when I came in. Everyone does a good job, but when Andy does my manicures, my nails - whether gel or regular polish - stay for much longer than anyone has ever been able to get them to stay (including when I was paying over $60 for manicures that were just gel nails and no massages/lotion/etc.). I am not sure what his secret is, but it works. Also, if you like looking at and trying new colors like me, they have so many options and are constantly getting more. Right now they have a new collection called The Mermaid Collection, and the colors are spectacular! The hardest part is always picking the color. They do get busy at times, so it is a good idea to make an appointment, especially if you are going with a few people or have limited availability. They have the staff (and have recently added more awesome people to the staff) to accommodate, but not everyone is always there unless it is a weekend or they are expecting to have a lot of people with appointments. I have been able to walk-in several times on my own though (sometimes I have to wait, but it's usually not too long and definitely not long enough to settle on a color). If you pay cash, they do also have a stamp card, so that's a nice bonus. read more

I can see how some people may lose patience if seeking brisk services. But, if you are looking to escape for awhile and melt into a massage chair chair while you treat yo self... This could be your spot! Mimi did a Spa Pedicure, which included wax and hot stones. I paid extra for gel polish. Very clean salon and courteous staff. Pricing felt fair. First time here and my last. It was a very welcoming environment and super cute salon. I had overlay on my nails and acrylic on my toes, had I known what a nightmare that would have caused I would have skipped nail day all together. I have no idea who did my toes, older man, who seemed like he was completely inexperienced. He was talking to me like I was the dumb one when in fact he had no idea what he was doing. I've never had the message and lotion BEFORE getting my toes done. I went in at 3:40 and got out at 5:30 OFF TOES!!!! I wanted a fill on my nails and toes. He was taking SO long, one toe at a time, smacking the powder off my feet with his bare hands instead of using a brush to wipe it away. By the time someone caught on that he had no idea what he was doing he had removed one nail or paint in like an hour. A younger girl had him get up and said something to him and took over. When she asked if I wanted the length the same or shorter I said shorter and when she asked me how far I wanted to go she said it was too short??? She did the acrylic and made him come back to paint which was another 30 minutes. She asked what I wanted for my nails and when I asked for stiletto she said she couldn't do it because I had almond nails???? The fuck?? By the time she decided to come over for my nails I told her I was done after my toes. I couldn't be there ALL NIGHT. There was NOTHING luxurious about this place and like 4 people total working. They charged $123 for a fill and color change on my toes (basic pedicure package) and a basic pedicure package for my husband with clear polish that's already messed up. Also cracking jokes if my husband wants rainbow nail polish is childish. I will never be back. Ever. read more

I felt he gave at least a 20 minute massage which I feel like you don't see as often anymore.
