I absolutely LOVE getting my nails done and have gone every month for AWHILE. My normal salon was full and I needed them done so i tried here as it had the highest reviews. AWFUL. my friend and i had a simple set with hearts on them and our worker (Tammy) had taken her time on them , and they LOOKED amazing. she talked to us the whole time. Then she got to me. She did one good, asked me if I liked it. then I literally got SQUARES + TRIANGLES as my hearts simply bc she wanted to rush through. ALSO. they did not put a base coat of nail polish and put the design OVER my mis match acrylic bc i had one set from forum nails and then they filled it in with their acrylic and didn't paint over it what so ever before designing. When i told the lady I just wanted a plain color instead because they didn't look good she told me "well you should of told me you didn't like the color before i did the base coat because now i can't do anything" i told her it wasn't the color and it was the lack of effort. she put ONE small layer of a hot pink on and said "See now you're just gonna be able to see through it" read more

Not very happy with my services here today. We went in with a group of 4 to get manicures and pedicures before my friend's wedding tomorrow and we are not pleased. Everything was extremely rushed from the very beginning. I understand they were busy but we didn't spend $100 plus to not feel semi relaxed. The technicians were very cold and rude. They would barely talk and just looked so upset. The bride's technician made a phone call during her manicure and talked on the phone the whole time. The technician that did my manicure completely missed the sides of my nails and it looks like half of my nail isn't painted. The edges are bubbly and I feel like it's going to peel very badly. My toe nails aren't even and are jagged. I 100% will not return to this salon. read more

My friend and I popped in today to get pedicures and a manicure for myself. After soaking my feet for 25 minutes, someone finally came over to do my toes. At this point, my friends toes were already done. We had requested basic gel pedicures and a gel manicure for myself. The menu they provided looked as though, to get gel, it would only be 10$ additional. However, this was not the case. I then went to get my nails done and I left with polish all over my hands with no effort to rectify it. We then went to pay and with my friend only getting a gel pedicure, the amount she paid was grossly overpriced at a whopping 55$ for a gel pedicure?! Mine was at 90$ and I had to immediately go home and get the nail polish remover to remove the remaining amount from my skin. I don't recommend going here unless you'd like to overpay for gel polish. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience for what we received. read more

Great first time experience. I'll be back. I called ahead before I came in to see if they had time for a mani/pedi and they happily told me to come on in. They ended up staying open an extra hour to finish my service and another customer's. I didn't realize what time they closed until I was leaving and it really impressed me that they told me to come in knowing they would stay open later. I never felt rushed or like I had overstayed. My technician and the manager were both very friendly. The tech kept checking to make sure the water temp, massage pressure, polish color... etc. were all to my liking. I have had acrylic nails elsewhere many times before. This was my first and last time at Venus Nails. I paid $45.00 for a full set of acrylic nails and in less than 48 hours, 2 of the nails broke off. The nail technician glued the nail tip on the very edge of my natural nail which made a "soft" spot in the joint of the acrylic...as well as the acrylic being applied very thin with air bubbling. My service was rushed and i was there for 2+ hours! They had to repaint my nails because of the nail polish having a bubbling finish. The quality of products they use is extremely poor. The only good thing i can say about this place is the man who greeted me at the door was very nice... read more

I had been hearing great things about this place and wanted to try it for myself. I decided to go today and I am very happy with my decision. My nails look the best they ever have. I got a manicure and pedicure. I walked in and got seated right away. A lady walked over and started some hot water for my pedicure. I ended up getting the lavender pedicure. It was amazing. Definitely made me feel relaxed and the atmosphere made me comfortable. I also loved the fact that they opened the equipment in front of me, so I knew it was new and not used on anyone else. The lady asked if it was okay if she started on my nails while I was soaking my feet. After she glued the nails on, she started my foot massage and it was great. I had never had anything like this before. My feet and legs feel very smooth. After she got my feet done, we went over to the tables so she could finish my manicure. She kept asking if I liked how they were looking and I appreciated that. I'm bummed that I didn't get her name because she was great. I will definitely be back to this nail salon. They did a better job then any other salon I've been to. They answered my questions and they didn't rush. They all were taking their time to make sure everything looked the best it could. I chose two stars because it perfectly embodies my experience, meh to eh. My husband and I came in recently, both to get pedicures. I'll begin with the good-They were busy, but we were greeted promptly and did not have to wait long for the pedicure to begin. They used brand new equipment, straight out of a sealed package which I thought was great and overall the stations looked very clean. The techs were cognizant of the temperature of the water and helped us get the massage chairs working. The price for both of us was also great as I had expected to pay more. Anddd then the Meh- The techs were friendly, but my husband and I like to have conversations with them as we talk with each other, they weren't into that- okay, no problem. The whole process took less than 15 minutes, which I understand is good for business for them, but really made the whole thing seem totally un relaxing, which is the major point of a pedicure, right? They spent almost no time filing our feet (which admittedly always needs that) to the point that today, two days later, they are back to being scaly. My toenails were not filed at all, so they are all different shapes and lengths. Each toe was not covered in toenail polish, so the sides are missing color. I really could have done the whole thing at home and saved the money. I go for pedicures as a treat, not as a regular event, so maybe I expected too much, but if I want to be truly pampered, I'll look somewhere else. read more

My wife Toey, my sister and my daughter came here a year ago couple days for our wedding July 26th. My daughter Kri really liked it here and recommended to get the manicure and pedicure done here. They were happy with there results. So over a year later, my wife wanted to get the same thing done. So we stop in, they were pretty steady, but the owners wife and husband got us in. She first ask us what we wanted. We told her full treatment. She looked at my wife's nails a complement on how healthy her nails looked and started to put cream on them to soften the cuticle and push them back, in which last nail salon didn't offer or did. I won't mention who it is. Onto the peticure and the back massager. They ask me if I wanted to sit there and get a back message. That was the highlight and them offer me WATER. I would not even give this place a 1 star rating, if Yelp had not forced me to do so. My mother, daughter and I just visited this establishment, after calling to find out how long their wait was. The man on the phone said that we could get in, all three of us, for pedicures at 1:15pm. Great! We get there at 1:10, they put me and my mother in the water, have my daughter sit on my lap until another chair is ready, and then we proceed to sit for 45 minutes. My daughter finally gets a seat next to me, and sits in the water until it is cold. I continually ask why we are not being taken care of, and they just continue to say, "sorry." The woman sitting next to me came in for a mani/pedi, and she had been there 3 hours! You should not have to pay to sit in cold water. So we finally get served, my toes first, and they look terrible. The second coat of polish isn't even down to the base of my toes. After we are all done, at 3:30pm, I ask for a discount because I am not happy with their services, and they refuse. They said they would have to give everyone in the shop a discount if they gave me one. Save your money, or go to a different shop, because this one is useless and completely unprofessional. read more

Came here with my mother in law for a little girls day pampering. Absolutely awesome service! Everybody was SUPER nice. Try the ultimate pedicure, it's totally worth it. I work at a hospital so I'm constantly washing my hands and using hand sanitizer. I had a gel manicure on 7/8 and as of 7/14 not even a chip has come out. The gentleman that I had was wonderful during the pedicure as well. The only thing that I would have liked would be more of a hand massage with the manicure. read more

They're always very nice here and they don't seem to rush through their manicures and pedicures like a lot of places will. They have a very pleasant aroma when you walk in and they are also nicely decorated in a Greco-Roman style. All of their nail technicians are very knowledgeable and will do your nails in the style you like. I felt that they were fairly priced as well because they do a good job. I also enjoyed that they had gift certificates available for purchase if you want any of them for friends or family- it's a nice little addition to their services. I think probably the best part about it though was the fact that every time I came in to the salon the owner always recognized me and remembered my name and whatever the topic of our last conversation was. I didn't even go on that often...once every few months. But still the owner always remembered and that really stood out to me and I like this place a lot. read more
