EDIT: It's been three weeks and I needed a fill in. All the polish was peeling off so I chose to go to a different salon. I'm so glad I did. Once she filed off the remaining polish, we saw how POORLY these were done. All the edges were peeling up and air bubbles. I ended up needing an entirely new set. Every single nail was in salvageable. After three weeks. So disappointing. Changing my review to 0. ------- I recently moved back to town and am looking for my "home" nail salon. I walked in Elegant at 10:40am on a Tuesday and was seen before 11am. I got an acrylic full-set with regular polish. The good: I loved that I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. They had a HUGE selection of polish colors. The whole process took about an hour including sitting under the dryer and waiting, which is great! I think overall he did a good job and my nails don't have any obvious mistake. The not so good: I was not greeted when I came in at all. I had to find my way to the sign-in sheet and just sit. There wasn't many pleasantries--no conversation or small talk. They chatted a lot and were super friendly with the "regulars" but even when I tried to chat it wasn't well received. The worst part was that he was pretty rough with my hands and fingers. I guess he was trying to go quickly but it was even painful at times. I understand that some maneuverability is required but in all my years getting manicures I've never experienced anything like this. It was a lot of twisting my joints to get fingernails and better angles and weird wrist twisting to get to my thumbs. i have hypermobilty in my joints and even I felt discomfort. Another reviewer mentioned the roughness as well so maybe this is just something when they're in a rush. The bad didn't totally outweigh the good so I'll likely return for my fill-in unless I find something better. It's possible it was just a bad day, especially considering the other positive reviews and his clean and nice work. read more

I was in town and needed my nails done. It wasn't crowded, so I got right in. Large salon, lots of pedicure chairs. I have shellac nails, so it was$25 for removal and the redo. I don't know what it costs around here, but that was more than what I pay. I'm satisfied with my nails. Good clean place. read more

I wanted to wait a few weeks before I wrote my review on this place to see how my nails held up, and it seems that they have stood the test of time. I got SNS done here on my nails about 3 weeks ago. The person who did them did a great job, took her time, and was very kind. She didn't rush through like I've had other nail salons do. However, I would just say to expect a long wait since they took their time and didn't rush. There were 3 people working who each had a person at their station when I walked in and then at least 5 other people sitting down waiting to be waited on. We waited for almost 2 hours before we got our nails done. Again, they did a great job and I appreciate that they take their time, but expect to wait a while. Also when I called ahead of time to ask about pricing they told me that getting SNS on my fingernails would be $35. However, somehow the price raised within a few hours? When I went to check out, the man said $45. I told him that I had called earlier and was told $35; he did not budge and I ended up paying $45. So I'm kind of torn as my nails are holding up great, but also a bit frustrated about the whole pricing situation. read more

Sammy did an amazing job on my gel manicure, so I had to leave a review. I'm from out of town and usually hate getting my nails done anywhere besides my go-to salon because I'm extremely picky about shape, cuticles and evenness of polish. I really lucked out with her today and will be back when I'm back in town! read more

The older woman was really rude and yelled at me. Way over priced and they'll lie to you about pricing to reel you in.

I was greeted instantly and was immediately seated to pick out a nail color, which I've been hearing about the powder instead of acrylic. My technician did a amazing job and took the time to go over what I wanted and that I was happy ! highly recommend and I will be going back ! read more

My SNS manicure was an underwhelming experience here. My manicurist often got up and left for random stints of time with no explanation - didn't annoy me but my time in the chair would have been much shorter otherwise. Additionally, after the manicure I was given no cuticle oil, or hand lotion that is typical of manicures basically everywhere. My fingers have powder and sticky residue left on them too. Considering the price, it was not worth the experience here. read more

I have been faithful to this nail salon for 12 years, and they recently have started disappointing me. Bad products, not happy with the nail shape, always wait forever, don't have the colors/products I really want and I broke multiple acrylic nails which I have never before done in my life. I really wanted to like this place based on the great reviews. The price is right and they offer a lot for one salon (dip power, shellac, etc. ). However each time I came here I was disappointed. My first visit was great in the sense that the person doing my nails was very friendly and talkative. But my pedicure fell short with half my toe nails painted and other half on my skin. The second and third time the nail techs were very quiet. I was judged for coming in only two weeks between visits (trying to find the perfect color to go with my wedding dress). They were rough with my pedicure. My toes were killing me on my wedding day and I come to find out I have blood under my nails. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you go for a manicure on a lower budget. read more
