I dropped off 3 baskets of clothes to wash. On was filled with a light comforter. Picked them up to a tab of $136.00. I will not be back.

I haven't used this cleaners in a long time, found one much more reasonable and better service near my work. Dropped some items here for convenience while on vacation and see why I stopped going. When I took things in, told them NOT to iron creases down sleeves (always uneven). When I picked clothes up, started noticing a sickening perfume/musty smell in the car, found it was coming from the cleaning. Also found my silk blouse had uneven creases down the sleeves and some Einstein pinned a tag in the collar, so now I have 2 pin holes in the back of the blouse. I wouldn't take an old flannel shirt to this place, complete lack of quality like they had years ago. I will forego convenience and prefer driving miles if needed to get professional/quality service. read more

Last year I paid to have them replace a zipper on my jacket( for $14), and it lasted less than a year. I took it back last week and asked for a better zipper and he suggested a metal one. I picked it up and it was the same type of plastic zipper that had broken. I complained and she told he didn't write it down properly, even though he had written "the best zipper possible". She refused to fix it again and then charged me $22.75. The jacket only cost me $20, when I bought it new. I will never go back and recommend you go elsewhere, also. read more

I've been taking my dry cleaning and washing to this establishment for the past couple of years. Recently, I took my late mother-in-law's vintage wedding dress (1954) for a cleaning and pressing. It sat there in the bottom of a bin - wadded up - for over a month, all the while I'm getting reassurances from the owner that "it's next on the list" to be done. I must have stopped in four or five times to inquire about when it will be completed. I finally went back and reclaimed the dress - untouched. I have no problem with the quality of their work, it is typically excellent - but if I give you something to do, and you constantly de-prioritize it, then continually BS me about when it's going to be done, then never get to it - well, guess what - YOU'RE FIRED. read more

Ok so I really didn't want to have to do this but wrong is wrong. We have been loyal customers for 4 years. It would have been longer, but they SERIOUSLY jacked up my prom dress like 20 years ago. I took my husbands 11 shirts for drycleaning over two months ago. I was told it would take a week to get them done (longer than usual but ok). I went back the next week, paid for 11 shirts and hung them in our closet. My husband came home, said why are there only 9 in here. I looked at the receipt. Yup, 11. I dropped off and paid for 11. On further examination, two of the shirts were not my husbands at all. I called. They asked me to bring in the two not his. So now we have 7, I paid for 11, we are missing 4. They asked for a week to figure it out. They never called us. We called again. The owner asked for two more weeks bc they "have honest customers and someone will return them". Fast forward two weeks. They never called. We called again. He asked for another week to "figure out how to fix it". They never called. We did...again...And started leaving message...after message...after message...for over a month now. At one point, they stopped answering the # we usually call from and picked up when a different # was used. We paid for 11. We have 7. We are missing 4. How hard is it to do what's right for the customer?...Because THIS is wrong. read more

So disappointed in sparks cleaners. I had been going to them for many years but will never bring clothes there again. I had 2 pair of cream color pants, a gray sweater, and cream silk blouse, when I received them back the cream color items were gray and the gray sweater was shrunken and thin. I was told by the owner that he was sending the sweater away to be analyzed because there had to be a flaw in all of the fabrics and that is why the clothing was ruined. They were three different brands of clothing! I have called repeatedly over the last six months he has never called me back. He does not stand behind his work. I will never bring anything there again. They must have changed management/ownership. I am giving them one star only because I could not go further to write this unless I pressed at least one. read more

Quality is not same as it was a few years back, I think someone else took over. I've had to take items back for re-pressing because they iron in lapels & creases where there weren't any. It's also the only business in town that completely closes for lunch. Not very customer friendly. Have gone to pick-up/drop-off only to turn around because nobody is working. That to me is ridiculous to close your business to customers for lunch. read more

Terrible!!! Waited over 6 months for my wedding dress to be cleaned. After 3 months of waiting, I started to call about every two weeks or so. Every time I called, I would ask if they knew when it might be done and they would say that they didn't know and the person that would know was not there. I asked them to leave a message for this person and have them call me when they were in. I left several messages (at least 3 that I can remember) over the months and never received a call. I finally got the call that it was done so I went to pick it up and when I got home it was not my dress in the box. My veil was in the box but it was not my dress. I called to explain and they had me bring back the dress. When I got there, I gave back the dress and asked to see my dress to know that they had not lost it. It was in a pile of dresses and the man handling it was not careful with it at all. Just tossing it around as if it was a cheap top from kohls, not an expensive wedding dress. I looked at it and it didn't look like anything had been done to it at all. The bottom of the dress still had dirt and grass stains on it. I saw this and asked why it still looked like it hadn't been treated and he said something about it had been dry cleaned but not wet cleaned. Seriously?... 6 months and still not done? They told me they would finish it and drop it off the following Friday (2 days later). On that Friday, I didn't hear anything from them, so I decided to call at 2pm. They said, "oh yeah, it's done. You can come pick it up whenever." All this was worth $150? I understand that mistakes happen and everyone is human. And if only one thing was wrong with this scenario, I would be understanding. But with the long length of time, poor communication, poor service and handling off my dress, and on top of it, giving me the wrong dress, I am not pleased. This dry cleaner used to have a good reputation and that is why I took my wedding dress there. However, ownership changed a few years ago. My dress was a simple strapless silk gown and in great condition after the wedding with only a small dime-sized wine stain on the back. My dress was boxed and returned to me a few months later after several calls with nothing said or noted about the condition of the dress. When I got home and took the dress out of the box it was torn, completely wrinkled, shrunk 2 inches with an irregular hem and the entire silk fabric was shredded. When the owner was contacted in person he repeatedly said that he did nothing wrong and that my dress was "crap" and he had no response as to why we were not informed of the damages. After several conversations he insisted I take the dress back to the bridal shop and agreed to pay for the dress once the material was cleared as not being defective. Despite verbal and written confirmation that there was no defects in the material from the bridal shop and the manufacturer, he refused to pay. Even after the bridal shop, manufacturer, a seamstress, and a professional bridal dry cleaner all agreed the dress was improperly "wet cleaned" along with the owner's own statement that he put my dress inside out with another dress in the dryer, he refused to admit he had made a mistake. He insisted that there was another second manufacture he was waiting to hear from to clear the material from. I agreed to help him contact this "manufacturer" since he had no designer or style number on my dress and therefore no way of tracking this material, but he never responded. It was not until 5 months later when a lawyer and a date in small claims court was established did the owner agree to pay for the damages done to my dress. I understand mistakes happen, but putting a damaged wedding gown in a box, saying nothing and hoping it is never opened until years later is despicable. In his defense, the small dime size wine stain was removed. read more
